Just had four new tires put on my wife's Jeep yesterday. Today, my wife came out of the grocery store and the back tire was totally flat! Good thing she had a pump in the car and was able to pump the tire enough to take back to Bell Tire. Turns out they forgot to tighten the valve stem. Totally unacceptable; what if she was driving on the freeway with the kids in the car. They had one job, and failed. Took almost two days to get one tire ordered and replaced, only to find out they put the wrong tire on because there was a vehicle similar to/same as mine in that day for a tire replacement. But when they called me to bring my car back, they wouldn't tell me why. Then it only took 30 min to change the tire. They did finally explain and apologize to me, but only after my car was getting the correct tire put on and again after I put a negative review in their after-service survey. I won't consider going back. They used to be really good when I first moved to Brighton, so this was disappointing. read more

When I needed to switch the "summer only" tires on my 2015 Corvette over to all season tires, Dan Garbarz was extremely helpful and took extra care to insure that the job was done in a professional manner. Belle tire is storing my "summer only" tires and will put them back on in the springtime. I was so impressed by the care they took with my car that when I need new tires for my Taurus there was no question as to where I would take it. They did an excellent job with my Taurus as well. Hands down these guys are amazing! From the guys handling the desk to the guys in the back. I called yesterday naturally because it snowed and I quickly realized I needed new tires. Dan took my call, ordered my tires, and assured me he would squeeze me in today, even though they were booked solid until next Wednesday. After a few phone calls I decided to just schedule it for next Thursday. I have an active four year old and no way of just leaving my car so they could do it when they had time. 20 minutes later Dan called me back and insisted I bring it in and he would get it done as promised. So my son and I showed up at 4 they got my van up and going and about an hour and half later it was done. It was amazing watching just how busy they were, the phones never stopped ringing and people just kept coming. I am so grateful they got us in, I am now a forever customer! read more

While Discount Tire on Whitmore kept telling me 3+ hour wait and the Belle Tire on M-59 in Hartland Twp also telling me the same thing, Belle Tire Brighton jumped right on my request for a simple tire rotation! They did a very thorough job to include verification of my wheel alignment. It turns out I needed an alignment and while didn't care for the $90 price tag, I trust this Belle Tire team to keep me safely on the road. UPDATE: while I stand by the service I rec'd above, less than a month after the supposed necessary alignment was completed, I learned that I had a bent tie rod and two which had threads which were so rusted, they could not be adjusted for toe/camber settings. My question is, Did the alignment ACTUALLY take place at Belle Tire Brighton? Why were the defective tie rods not spotted while the alleged EXPENSIVE alignment took place? Anyway I had a tire rotation and a verification of my recent alignment done at Belle Tire on Carpenter Rd. in Ypsilanti, and they did the alignment AGAIN and replaced the defective parts. I won't be going back to this Belle Tire again, despite the close proximity to where I live. Bad Job Belle! read more

BEWARE OF SCAMS! I know that with COVID the waits have been super long so I'm not going to complain too much about that part, but after leaving my vehicle over night for a simple air leak in one of my tires, they tried to tell me that my tire was irreparable because there were so many patches and the leak was in between two overlapping patches. My vehicle is a 2018 and had never had any tire repairs done on it before, so already I was a bit surprised when they said I needed a new tire. So unless it came off the lot with an old tire, I could not think of a reason why there could be so many patches. Anyway, I told them to just fill my tire and I'd follow up with the dealership. I'm so glad I chose not to pay nearly $300 for a new tire! This girl took her car to Discount Tire instead and not only did they find the small nail causing the slow air leak, they charged me nothing for the very first and ONLY patch my tire has now. Shame on Belle Tire for not taking care of all their customers! read more

Monroe Struts and Belle Tire selling bad parts. After Belle Tire in Howell put in new Monroe struts twice in 2 years, due to ongoing clunking noises we took the car to Brighton. They put in 2 sets of struts in 2 years with ongoing clunking noises. Ryan at Brighton Belle Tire said there was no noise, had his best guy drive it down the worst road. Then manager Dan said the guy must be a bad tech, because the front and back end were noisy, said he only drove it next door. They kept the car for 3 days, not calling with any updates. They replaced the front struts, and one back strut, said it was 90% quiet now. We drove it home, it was way worse, the front sway bar link now needed replacing, and the front and back end were clunking louder then before. The new strut in the back broke, leaking all over the floor. We took it to Brighton Auto Repair next door. They replaced the sway bar link, and put factory struts and mounts in the front and back. No more noise. As a final note, it should said that I had to pay for a corrective alignment, at another business, due to Belle Tire leaving my steering wheel crooked. It took a lot of money, time, and effort to correct the damage done by Belle Tire, at two other shops over an additional couple of weeks.. read more

Dropped in because of a slow leak in one tire of 2014 Camry. Asked to wait for 90 minutes, but nail in tire found and tire repaired in a little over an hour. Repair done for free. Staff friendly and courteous. I will certainly return when I need to buy replacement tires or for additional service. read more

Stay clear of this place!!!! Took my car in for a slight vibration when Im on the expressway in the rear, got a call mid afternoon and they said everything looks good gonna do a tire balance rotation and could use a alignment $89. I said go ahead. Mid afternoon I get a call stating its all set. I get in the and driving down Grand River 35 and steering wheel is now shaking, I take it back guy says no problem leave it here we'll take it. I WALK BACK TO WORK, now I have to call them to find out the status they all set balance machine was not working well. I get in the car drive down grand river and same problem!!!! I take it back and leave it overnight WALK BACK TO WORK AGAIN!!!! Got a ride home and had to call in the morning they had no clue of who I was SO I WALKED DOWN THERE AGAIN!!! I was told it was the front tire and that they replaced it for whopping $259, standing with jaw dropped because I knew gave approval, I asked if they could do anything with the alignment charge I didnt need he said no but gave me $50 off. Feeling totally taken advantage of and not taken care of I left as I was driving down Grand river I noticed the Tire light on I said #!*@ me. Drove the car down to Highway Tire and found out the sell the same tire for $160!!!!! Should have never gone to Bell Tire and will never see any of my vehicles again!!! read more

START BY HAVING SOME INTEGRITY. I went in and asked for new tires and brake pads. I also explained that I had been to another repair shop and they had said I needed $4000 worth of work for my 60,000 mile check up and KNEW that was wrong. New tires no question about it. But when your mechanic started work on my brakes and saw that there was 15-20% wear on the front and 20-25% on the back brakes (this is typed on my invoice) I really think a phone call would have been in order. YOU are the car repair experts, look for another reason the customer thinks this repair is necessary and CALL and tell them they are in error and that something else is/could be the problem. I intend to copy this review to every rating website I can find. read more

Great, honest service. I tried many other local service centers before I figured out that Belle Tire does it all. I've had many foreign cars here for many different services and they have repeatedly gone above and beyond to save me money, time and hassle. I never feel like they are up selling me unnecessary services and they frequently volunteer ways to save money or tell me that a service a can wait if it does look like it is needed. read more

Visiting the area and needed a quick tire rotation and trip check before my trek home. We drove to Belle Tire and told them of our concerns with the car, and mentioned that a tire rotation might be needed. They took in the car right away, inspected it and fixed the problem. I went to Belle Tire Brighton to swap out my summer tires for winter tires purchased from Belle Tire 1 year ago for $1300. I was informed at the end of this service that the next time I swapped out my summer/winter tires there would be a $19.95/tire charge. At the time of the original purchase, I was promised that they would continue to swap my summer and winter tires for free. I SPECIFICALLY asked the question and was SPECIFICALLY told yes, they would continue to do that. This became the deciding factor for the purchase. I informed the rep of this at the time of checkout today and was told that it was company policy to charge and the free service would no longer be honored. Having done this in the past 5 years (with my last tire purchase from them) set the precedence and agreement as did the positive answer from them last year. It's a breach of promise which will cost them all future sales from myself, my family, my friends and my sub-division neighbors - as much as I can convince them. read more

The reason i am giving onky 4 out of 5 stars is because of my recent visit last Monday 8-21-17. I have given Belle tire my bussiness for several reasons however this is my first time at this location. I choose the Brighton location because it was close to where i was and needed tires that day. They could not take me until 5pm so i prepayed for tires and and a oil change and,was told to come back at 3pm Monday the 21st of August. Upon arival the same associate was very rude. I asked a simple question which was will these two tires be compadable with the two tires i have on now? His reply was, " yeah they are round and go in a circle ". Are you kidding me? I told him we, are done and cancel my order. No one and i mean no one talks to me this way ever. I told the boy, you may talk to your girlfriend or wife or Mother and if you were my son i would have smacked your face. I asked fir the manager who was very responsive and did a great job desculating the sitution. He took me outside where i explained the situation and he explained to me their has been numerous complaints against this kid. He took over the case of making sure everything was perfect with the tires, oil change and alignment that was desperately needed. I am grateful to Dan the manager of Brighton Belle tire who is now my guy for tires, and rotation and oil changes. Thanks Danial for going the extra mile and keeping my business. read more
