Everything from start to finish was seamless and smooth. Their service department for Mazda is excellent. There was a problem with my new CX 30 when the lumbar and the seat was fully deployed. It rubbed slightly on the console. They managed some wizardry and reprogrammed the seat so that it did not move, which works great for me. I picked up a part to cover my cargo area and my salesman came out to install it for me and handed me the part as well. Taught me how to install it, thank you Nick Scott! read more

I've only had great experiences with Sesi Lincoln and Mazda. I have leased a car through then and working with Alex was great. It's locally owned as well and they support the business around them. Worked extensively with sales manager. Unfortunately, at 11th hour, the previously agreed upon numbers changed and tried ( unsuccessfully) to get back more money. At the end, received a very insulting message from the dealership. I have worked with the Sesi family in the past with fund-raising efforts. I attempted to contact their service department twice in a week and have heard nothing back after being offered a callback AND after filling out an online request form. I can't give a positive review to a business that isn't interested in my business. : / *UPDATE* After being assured that I was lost in a web-host transition and being apologized to multiple times over the phone and in person, the service manager did a great job of accommodating my schedule and got me in ASAP. I've been here several times for oil changes and generally had been happy. Recently my 2 year old car broke down and I had it towed to Sesi over the weekend when closed. They fixed the issue which was a malfunctioning fuel pump under warranty but when I went to pick up my car it was given back to me with 1 mile left on the fuel gage. I asked about it and they said "well you brought it in with only 13 miles left." (My fuel gage was non functional before it broke down). And when I questioned further they explained they "don't have gas" and my car wouldn't actually run out of fuel for about 15 miles. As a formerly loyal customer, it has left a bad impression. A simple "we're sorry, we shouldn't have" really would have been a 100x better. read more

This place is the worst. Every time I went there, there is something disgustingly wrong. 1, Tried to rip me off with the "your air filter needs to be changed" while holding my clean, white air filter in his hand. 2, One tire started to leak AFTER the routine car maintenance. I had to go back two days later and asked them to fix it. 3, The air bag light started blinking after another car maintenance. I moved away from Ann Arbor right after that visit and did not have an opportunity to go back and ask them to fix their mistake. I had just leased my 2nd car through this dealership, I feel taken advantage of as a single woman. I was assured I had no issues at the time of turning in my lease. Than got hit with a 1800.00 bill. Keep being advised, the dealership is working on it, but no return calls. What people will do to move a car off the lot, at the expense of others. I guess once you drive off the lot, they have no use for your anymore. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They do not take care of there customers . read more

Being a "Ford" family, we opted to lease a Mazda M3 for our daughter, a new driver, because of the ease of maneuvering and parking. The car is equipped with GPS and the mileage is fantastic. Always a great experience with sales and service here. Whether a simple oil change, or some other type of service, we receive the most courteous, up-front service, as well as gourmet coffee. Sesi Mazda and Doug who works there, provided the best service we've experienced. I only wish they had a dealership in Orange County CA. where we live. My daughter is a graduating student at U of M and was in the process of moving home. The car transport was to arrive last Thursday morning to bring her Mazda CX5 home. Unfortunately, the car would not start the day before the transport with a serious electrical problem that was draining the battery. After not getting any sleep Wednesday night, I called Sesi first thing Thursday morning and Khan said, "no problem, we got you covered, just tow the car in". They received the car slightly before lunch on Thursday and within 27 hours and numerous phone calls with Doug, they had the issue diagnosed and resolved the 800amp draining issue of the battery. They picked my daughter up Friday late afternoon and she brought the car back to her apartment. The car transporter arrived first thing Saturday morning, loaded the car and brought it home to CA. My wife and daughter boarded a non-refundable flight shortly after and also came home. BTW - their price was more than reasonable! They really did us a huge favor and we are grateful for it! read more

Expect at least 90 minutes for an oil change. Once after waiting for my oil change they told me I needed a new windshield wiper. I thought I'd only have to wait another 10 min but it ended up taking an hour. I suggest using the shuttle driver they provide if you plan to go at all. Very inefficient servicing and staff does not seem to have a concern for the issue. read more

I've tried to like these guys but over the years I've finally given up. They do not take extra steps to make sure they've handled all problems. They've missed things and on multiple occasions I've had to go back for the same problem to be addressed. They're also pricey, even for a dealership. I'm glad that they do the redos at no charge but they seem to resist warranty work. They seem understaffed and lack a skilled bench of mechanics. In frustration I finally took my car to Brighton Mazda and it was like night and day. Despite the distance and inconvenience, they've quickly earned my business. I just wish I figured this out years ago. read more

Sesi Mazda is the singularly most incompetent business I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I brought my car in to have recall work done in September, picked it up the next day, and was later notified that they forgot to do any work on the car at all. I took it back in to actually have the recall work done in January, and when I called to ask them when the car would be ready, they had no idea what I was even talking about despite the fact that I had just dropped my car off. I proceeded to have to call them 6 more times to get an answer about when my car would be ready. I was finally able to pick it up two days after dropping it off, for task that would "take three hours tops" nonetheless, feeling like my car had been held hostage. I do not recommend going to this dealership under any circumstances if it can be avoided. read more

He was able to order me a new tire and was able to get me in first thing in the morning and get it done promptly so I could get to work. We had a pleasant experience when we purchased our Mazda CX5, and the first oil change was no problem... but this morning my wife took the car in for an appointment we'd made for the 2nd oil change and a tire rotation. When we made the appointment, we were told that it would take 45 minutes. She told the service manager she would wait. It took 2 hours. We understand that delays can happen, but no one bothered to find her in the waiting room to inform her there was a delay, or why. In reviewing Sesi's service on "yelp" and elsewhere, it unfortunately seems this is not an isolated incident. If a service like this is "normally" going to take 2 hours I believe the customer should be informed of that from the beginning so they can plan accordingly. I also believe that purchasing a car from a dealership, then paying a premium for service, should warrant some interpersonal consideration. Some better communication would have been much appreciated. I hope this issue is addressed at Sesi. read more

At first, this seemed like a reasonable place to get our Mazda 6 repaired. After a recent accident, we had been trying to find a mechanic that would replace the mufflers for a good price. Other mechanics had estimated around $1000 dollars for the mufflers alone, and the promises of service here were much more affordable on top of being willing to install mufflers that we had bought on our own. However, once we got the car in, the story changed and the parts they needed were not on hand. Although they were Mazda parts which I know run very cheaply anywhere else, my girlfriend was quoted an astronomical price and then charged a service fee for essentially being told they couldn't do anything. Aside from that, the customer service here when calling in is extremely lengthy and phone calls go through a receptionist rather than direct to the mechanic which made the game of phone tag stressful and the entire process take longer than necessary. They did eventually take the car to a different mechanic, but took a much longer time than necessary to tell us they couldn't do anything about it. A lack of skilled mechanics and good customer service is evident. I feel my girlfriend was taken advantage of and I will probably be taking her car to the mechanic we were referred to from now on. read more
