After arguing with them and refusing to help us, Discount Tire stepped in and solved everything. Kevin was absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond what they needed to do and not only helped us get the right tires, but fixed a broken sensor as well gave us new windshield wipers. My monitoring system on my car let me know that my left rear tire had gone down 20 pounds of pressure overnight since that was sudden significant I made it a priority to get to discount tire on a Friday quite busy time of day. When I got there I was greeted I was checked in efficiently and quickly and I was told it would be an hour to an hour and 15 minutes late being that I was concerned about having a flat tire I wasn't about to leave. I stayed in 25 minutes I was called back to let me know that my tire had been repaired they had found a 2 1/2 inch nail take it out plug the tire checked it put it back on and I was good to go. I said OK how much the guy said nothing, nothing? Unbelievable these people are just unbelievable I will forever go back to discount tire. read more

Had to buy a wheel Labor Day weekend. Took the basic aftermarket one they had on hand. That was fine. Went back last Saturday and replaced the other three. Had to go back and get refunded for lug nuts they charged for and didn't need as I had the box from Labor Day. Had some vibrations still, thought I needed some suspension work. I did, but vibrations coming from no hub rings to center the aftermarket wheels on hubs. I called Chris at the store and was supposed to order me some, call and install in 2 business days. Four business days later, nothing. Go to Livonia store to buy and they gave me a bag. I'll have to install these myself. I'll never darken a Discount Tire store again. read more

Extremely bad communications within Ranks. As far as I am concerned this place really stinks. Made an appointment for new tires for the next day and asked questions about tire pressure sensors too which they want WAY TOO MUCH FOR. Called an hour ahead of appointment to discuss and they tried to tell me that I didn't call and make the appointment. I added their phone number to my phone so I have a log of my calls for both days. So they are now calling me a Liar and then they ask if I want to come in and get them. I said absolutely NOT. I told them not only will I not come but will also let others know of this terrible experience and NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. I have been in Sales/Marketing /Advertising for many years and this response was totally unacceptable. The Regional Office offered no help or explanation. Why would I go there after this? I wouldn't. I have vocal chord cancer and my voice is bad(raspy), so they should definitely remember me. read more

They cleaned up the rims, rotated and balanced, got it done faster than promised, and no charge. I upgraded from 18x8.5 in wheels to 19x9.5 and was unhappy with the fuel economy drop I was seeing- from 29 to 25 mpg. I wasn't positive it was the tires, but they allowed me to exchange the original ones I put on with a different set, no questions asked. Well, the 2nd set was even worse at 23.5 mpg. So I came back again and asked for the original set, now armed with the knowledge that it was indeed the wheels and not the tires. By this time I'm sure these guys were sick of me, but they switched me back to the first set again without complaint or hassle. It's one thing to give great service when it's easy. These guys did it even when I was a pain in their side, and that tells you all you need to know. Shout out to Chris, who was great the whole way through. read more
