Been going to this location for a decade, and this will be the last time I provide any opportunity for business. I scheduled a pickup (which they do for the business I'm employed under) for Monday at 9am- I checked with my concierge at 3pm that day and the porter had failed to pickup my car (day one missed). I called over to them and they'd informed me they had me down for a drop off (which I've literally never done in 10 years), whatever- I told them my car would be in the parking lot for pickup Tuesday at 9am. I get a notification on Tuesday at 12:41pm that the car had been picked up. I receive no verbal update until about 3pm when I'm told the car will be repaired and returned to me by end of business day. I got a second call about 30 minutes later informing me that was incorrect, and NOTHING had been performed on the car- they'd instead be returning it to the lot with NO SERVICE provided, but they need my car for a third day. Fine. My car is waiting in the lot at 7:30 Wednesday am and I CALL THEM specifically to inform the car is there, and I'm anticipating a pickup from them at 9am (to avoid a similar debacle to the previous day)- My concierge team calls me at 10:40 to let me know they just picked the car up. I was contacted today at 2pm for payment, no apologies until I addressed my concerns head on- to which I was met with a "I didn't want to tell you this, but we're super short staffed- I don't want to feed you excuses" blah blah blah. Chapin and Team- Customers DON'T CARE how busy you are. They care about how YOU MAKE THEM FEEL. And when you make me feel like I'm not a priority- I'm going to seek that feeling out elsewhere. All of this wait for A PAIR OF HEADLIGHTS and A SINGLE TIRE for a MOPAR/Domestic vehicle with a VERY common tire size no less. read more

Hello, to whom this may concern/ grab the attention of I have been taking my cars to McMahons for over 4 years now and the last two visits in 2024 that I've experienced were very unpleasant. My first unpleasant visit was in regards to me getting my brakes done. I dropped my car off before McMahon's opened (6:00am) to ensure they can get my vehicle in and completed when I got off work the same day at 4pm. I had to continuously keep calling and checking on my car to find out as I'm getting off work that my calipers were supposedly "glued" on and that they broke it trying to get one of the calipers off. This lead to them having to order me a new set of calipers which aren't cheap if I may note & I was told I had to pay for them even though the worker broke them/ caused the damage. I was very unpleased due to no communication was given throughout the work being done on my car. To add to that When they called to tell me that my calipers were broken due to them being "glued" on supposedly they then proceeded to tell me they would have to order me a new set of calipers which was said to be ordered and put on the first delivery truck for them to work on them and get my car back to me first thing tomorrow. I asked them to call me when they began working on my vehicle and again I got no call or update. I reached out to them on my lunch break (11:30) to then be told that they ordered the wrong calipers for my car which lead me to again being without my car for even longer and going into the weekend. Monday came around and still no update from McMahon's in regards to my car which lead me to have to call again on my lunch break due to the lack of communication on their end to pick up the phone and call me after they have had my car for 7 days now. Tuesday came around same thing no communication on their end I called on my lunch break to be told I still wouldn't be able to get my car back. Wednesday which is now the 9th day of them having my vehicle I finally got my car back. My second unpleasant experience came about with me needing my oil changed. I brought my car in first thing when I knew it would be slow (8am) they got my car in and got it done around 9am when getting my paperwork of the breakdown of what they did and what they found and etc they mentioned my wipers were not working which I thought was odd because I had just used them along with being told my brakes were bad when as stated above I just got them done by McMahon's not even a month ago.. I go out to my car to turn my wipers on to see what the issue was to find out that my wipers were perfectly fine along with going back inside to get a manger for her to see for herself that my wipers clearly worked. I called due to I was just still not understanding / in disbelief that someone doesn't know how to know if wiper blades work or how to work them when they're supposed to be the experts. when I called I was talking to a male associate who was said to be a service advisor and he continued to tell me how "every vehicle is different & that the associate might of pushed the wrong button" to then be told that they were entry leveled employees that aren't familiar with every make and model and not to be concerned with the information Put on my form. This is no excuse for having "entry level workers" handling my vehicle if they have no clue how to work windshield wipers or even have the ability to go get someone to validate if something was truly not working if they don't understand or know how to operate something. This just shows that they have a inexperienced team and no one there to take true accountability or that knows how to genuinely fix a issue due to I was told I would get a call back and never received it. read more

I have to just give the best review for McMahons. I was stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire and I was to weak to change it myself for the lug nut removal. I called several local mechanics, tire companies, family And friends and all of them said no or they were working. My last call to McMahons just goes to show me that they are still decent human beings in this world. By the time I called I was sobbing and weather or not the man who answered felt pitty for me he asked back in the shop of a truck would be willing to go to my location which was close to their shop by the grace of god they said yes. Normally McMahons only does site visit for semi trucks so I felt blessed. They showed up quick, with smiles on Their faces and so friendly and caring. Rex was one and the other Justin. Young fellows with hearts of GOLD! They drove up made sure they and my car were safe since we were in a busy area and worked quickly knowing exactly what to do. In no time at all they had my doughnut tire on and I was in the road. Well worth the money I paid. I would recommend McMahons in a heartbeat. And if you can ask for Rex and Justin! They were amazing. Sweetest young men I've met in awhile. Take your vehicle there for new tires or even an oil change. Best customer service I've seen in awhile. read more

They sent me a response and asked to talk to me so I stop bye at this point he told me there was a new guy there and he didn't relay the information which was there alignment rack was broke and they couldn't put that kind of weight on it they've offered me a free alignment so understanding the details I guess I wouldn't have given him such a poor review. When purchasing tires they seemed to offer good service however after the sale is another story. Purchased a set of new tires in May of 2016 and got the lifetime balance and rotation. Decided since we had that we would have them do our oil changes as well. First was a minor issue in that they write the oil weight and date on the top of the engine in paint pen. Have no idea why but makes it look like our engine came from a junk yard. Bigger issue was that the first time we went to have the tires rotated in July they told us that the lug nuts needed replaced at a cost of $3.20 ea because they were "swollen". I have been working on vehicles my entire life and this is the first time I have heard that one. Also seems odd that they were fine only a couple of months earlier. After they explained the issue it was that the lug nut could get caught in the socket. Big deal leave a couple of threads on and pull it out. But OK we will change them at a cost of $70. Next, twice now they have not balanced the tires as requested. The first time it was because "we did not mention a vibration" even though we asked the tires to be balanced. The next time we have no idea why they did not balance them and now the apparent out of balance tire has been moved to the front so the wheel shakes in our hands. Another minor issue is that they never reset the oil change light. but again that is a minor thing I would overlook if it were not for the other issues and the fact that they act like you are inconveniencing them by bringing in your vehicle to them for service. read more

This shop is known for its tires! Second to it's automotive service department. Factory fresh, all are grade 1. They do not sell seconds or thirds. Or even older "out of storage" tires. This is the way Sears, Tire barn, Discount whatever competes. They still talk about how sears would, and still sell tires that cannot be balanced. Then sort of "force" someone to have to buy a set from a competitor. (Why do ya think they call it credit)? This shop is not "second" in anyway. Some will look at the history of this company only! Starting in about 1924? Expanding their business and moving three times. I look mostly at their mechanics and employees. There have been newspaper stories written about the years of service by all. You can read about them on the walls of the customer service area. Since I do not have to go there very often cannot remember all the static's. They also have a facebook following. I award them a 5 star ratting. To help them stand out against lesser shops. Note: I usually only award 5 stars to a Hilton. read more

I have purchased several sets of tires from here and I have always found the staff and service absolutely top notch! They are fast and friendly and the selection of tires and services are great. I bought tires recently and noticed a loud noise. My wife brought my car in and Mike took it for a drive and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem. One thing my wife noticed is how polite the guys from the warehouse and shop were so polite to the salespeople. First let's start with my wife's work and mine are both very large accounts here so you think we would get better service. Twice now I have had my truck aligned there and both times he charged me full price instead of the discount I am supposed to be getting. My wife bought rather expensive tires there for a new car she purchased. Literally just a few weeks after the one-year Mark was up she developed a bulge in the side of one of the tires. The previous owner had scuffed the curb in several places on the rim and the Bold was about three quarter of an inch from one of those light scuffs on the side of the rim. I knew they would try to blame that bulge on that stuff and say she hit a pothole or something. And of course that's what they did I am by no means a novice when it comes to tires I have many cars can constantly change rims and tires and I'm quite the car enthusiast. And I know for a fact that stuff was there and has nothing to do with anything on the tire itself. He says he can prove that it was curb damage because there would be a tear on the inside of the tire his famous words a tire is like skin that he will use repeatedly for every problem we have from now on. So we buy a almost new used tire online that matches her other tires and have it put on somewhere else. And what a surprise there is not a tear or a mark anywhere on that tire inside or out other than the bulge. Now go ahead a few months and my wife gets a small screw in her Tire. Since she will never take her car here again she takes it to Discount Tire to have it repaired. They come out and show her that the tire was damaged when it was first and if we installed and there is a tear on the inside of the bead where it touches the rim and the cords that were exposed to Rusty meaning it it's been like that for a long time. Well since I knew they would try to get out of fixing what they cost I decided to ask the opinion of several other tire places. I was getting tires put on my new rims at Tire Barn and asked three of the installers there what caused the damage on the tire and showed it to them personally and all three of them said it happened when it was installed. I asked two different locations in Huntington where I work and they said the same thing. So I decided to take the tire in and ask the guy at McMann's what caused this damage in his opinion and he said that it was probably when it was installed or removed or possibly his famous impact damage answer. I said well that's good to hear because 500 people also said it happened when it was installed and you guys installed it so I would like another tire. Then his answer changes to know the only thing that could have caused this was impact damage. How did impact damage to the inside of the bead off where it touches the room where it is hidden behind and below the rim. And how does 5 other people that are all Tire installers all say the same thing? Well a week or two after that happened we were driving through Indianapolis on 465 and there was construction and the road was cut up and we actually did it something hard on the road and actually had impact damage and what do you know the damage to that tire looks nothing like the other two tires that the guy at McMahon tried to all blame on impact damage. I'm currently talking with the customer service people at the tire manufacturer and describing the damage and situation around each of the three tires and just recently they ask for pictures also their opinion is the first Tire with the Bulge was probably a manufacturer's defect and should have been replaced by the dealer even if it was a week or two past the one year. The second tire with the chunk of inner bead missing was most definitely damaged during installation in the third tire is exactly how a tire would look from Impact damage. So basically if you want to hear excuses every time you have a problem with a tire that every single thing is caused by impact damage even though you've never had a single thing in the road, waste your money here. read more

First time here (at Coliseum location) and I was super impressed by their integrity and workmanship. I was having trouble with air leaking from both back tires. They fixed the problem without trying to sell me new tires that I did not need. While waiting in the waiting room that was equipped with a coffee machine, water dispenser and popcorn maker, I overheard the staff working diligently to help solve problems customers had (often offering them cheaper options that still met their needs). I feel this company is honest and I will be bringing my car back in the future. I highly recommend them !! read more
