Every time I go in there in the last two years, which is quite often, the manager, Andy is standing around like he's busy, but you know he's not and there's always a line. I was actually just in there today and there was an older gentleman waiting on all the customers while Andy was standing at his computer. Not impressed. Went it for my scheduled appointment and they said it would be at least a 2 hour wait. What? I even confirmed it earlier in the day with them. Then I was told I would have to come back a different day to get the new tires aligned if I couldn't wait the 2 plus hours. When I had asked how long when I confirmed it I was told a little over an hour total. So they don't honor my appt and expect me to return another day to get it completed. Not happening. I'm a foster parent and have 3 infants. I have to pay someone (who is state approved - it can't be just anyone) to watch the kids so I can go get this kind of stuff done. It is also why I always book appointments ahead of time and will confirm the day of. I will never go back. They can't honor their own appointment times and could clearly care less. The next day I went to discount tire and was in and out in little over an hour and that was with a last minute appointment. They were great and super nice. read more

I had rotors and pads replaced on the front of my vehicle, 4 days later the warning light to check the pads came back on. I stopped at belle tire after work to have them check the connection to the sensor, thinking it was left a little loose. They said they couldn't look at it because there were people ahead of me and I would have to leave it overnight. This would have easily been a 5 minute job for them and something they should have happily done for me that day. There is a difference between can't and won't. My car got a flat while on a road trip. Everyone there was awesome, they took great care of my car and didn't even charge me for the fix.

I am being generous with 2 stars because I have only had good customer service here once. I guess that deserves a star even though I'm PRETTY sure it was just because he was selling us something. Their employees def haven't been trained in customer service. They have a very condescending way of speaking to you and I HATE that. Yes I'm a woman but a woman with a brain! I only went here because hubs got his at the same time and we put it on his credit card since my credit is laughable and they had an awesome Black Friday deal. Tire rotation and repairs are covered if you bought all 4 new at that time. So it's time to get mine rotated. I check their hours and it's 8-8. So I get there a few min before 8 because I know they get busy. I check in and he tells me there are quite a few in front of me and it'll be well over an hour. I'm confused as to how so many people got in front of me when I was there BEFORE 8am. There was no crowd rushing toward the door! So I asked don't you open at 8? He said yes but we start taking people at 730. Ok so wouldn't that be opening at 730? He said no it's still 8. At this point I realize either I'm an idiot or he is because if you are taking customers and writing up orders THAT IS OPEN!! Don't list your hours as one thing and then do something completely different! At this point I'm frustrated because I got there early to avoid this and I don't want to wait an hour to get my tires rotated so I ask if I can make an appt? Nope not for covered maintenance. Seriously?! You'd think since I bought my tires there that they would want to keep you happy so you will come back when you need tires again or even refer others but nope. They have your money and once they aren't making money off you it's screw You. Hopefully I won't need tires for a LONG time but when I do I won't be getting them from Belle!! I said no you open at 7:30 and that's why if you arrive anywhere close to 8:00 you already have 15 ppl signed in. He said well we do that as a convenience so we don't have a big line at 8. Oh ok so it's done as a convenience for THEM, the employees, NOT the customer! So once again you are telling me my time is not as important as yours because if I look at a business's hours and it says OPEN AT 8am, why would I think I need to get there at 730? And how would I know that if I do get there anywhere close to 8 I'm already looking at an hour + of my time because of its more convenient for the employees? Last I knew retail stores worked to make the most of customer service and what will be more convenient for your customer. So what about me and all the other customers who would think 8am means 8am?? Then they argue with me that they still open at 8! Someone needs a lesson in what OPEN means. Open does not mean when they start working on cars. Open is when you take customers and start checking them in. PLEASE educate your staff on the meaning of that to prevent more pissed off customers like myself. I know one thing, I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM BELLE TIRE AGAIN! They may have had the best price but I am learning the lesson my mom always tried to teach me...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. so you may pay less for the tires but you will get the worst customer service experience overall. They have a total lack of care about any kind of maintenance on their product and absolutely ZERO concern for the value of their customers time. So I would rather pay a little more for my tires and be able to have them maintained than buy them from the store like belle tire that LOVES YOU and can't help you enough when you are buying but once you buy it's a big screw you we got your money so you are not important anymore. Worse belle tire yet. Made an appointment 4 days in advance for 4 new tires. Appointment was supposed to be the first appointment of the day 8AM. At 11 my vehicle had tires but still had not had an alignment check. The managers excuse was being short staffed. Wish I could tell people that I can't service you in a timely fashion because we're short staffed. The manager was rude and abrasive and condescending. He offered no solution other than to pull my car in and let it sit in the bay rather than outside. Needless to say I left with my vehicle and no alignment check. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Yay love these guys! Needed tires for vacation road trip, got us taken care of fast and affordably, and took care of my oil change at the same time. While on vacation, the AC went out-multiple hose problems, couldn't keep up with the heat!-and when we got back home they got us in and fixed up in just a couple days (needed to order parts etc). They're always friendly and knowledgeable, and they don't try to push services you don't need. As long as it's a job they can do, we'll be takin my cars in to our friends at Belle! read more

Set up an appt to have a short in a window motor connection looked at....a Belle serviceman called to confirm the appt and discuss the work involved....2 days later, I show up and am asked if I'm there to have the window REPLACED....I remind them I'm here to have an electrical problem with the window looked at and NOW I am informed they're "not sure" they can even take the door panel off. Always drop my car off and they give me a ride to work. This last time I dropped it off to have the oil changed, Tire Pressure sensor and rear shocks was done in 45 minutes. They always charge a fair price. Only issue is they replaced the wrong TPS. They took care of it right away. That is why I gave 4 and not 5 stars. read more

I brought our van in for a tire repair; we ran over a nail and it was poked all the way through the tread. They fixed this for free and service was great. So why 3 stars rather than 5? I have had tire repairs in the past and they usually only took about 10 minutes. I was waiting for close to 40 minutes even though they got the van into a bay immediately. It turns out that they took the opportunity to inspect all 4 wheels and then informed me I had bearing problems with 2 of them. They gave me an estimate of over $600. I thanked them, and made a mental note to bring this up with our regular mechanic who has fixed bearings on two wheels in the past for $400. So I left with mixed feelings. I was glad they fixed the issue and that they didn't charge. These kinds of fixes usually only run about $10. But, I had a family at home waiting for me to bring home dinner so I wasn't planning on this long of a visit especially knowing Belle Tire got the van right in. So just be aware that if you go in for this kind of thing they are going to use this as an opportunity to find bigger-ticket issues. My suggestion to them is to offer an option: we can do this for free if you let us do a full inspection; or we can charge you $10 and get you in and out quickly. If I have time I'll take the free fix and inspection, but if I don't have that kind of time just fix the tire and get me out of there. read more

I am on my second major complaint here at Belle tire. I can't do business here anymore. I said that before. Then it seemed convenient would be better but not when quality is subpar. My previous visit I came in for a leaky tire. Later that day I was told my vehicle was ready to pickup and not given any info as to any of the maintenance done. I drove the vehicle only to my house a few miles down the road. In the morning my tire was low in pressure again. I decided to try somewhere else. The Subaru dealership across the street took my vehicle in and found two nails in the same tire. Great tire service Belle. Fast forward to this past week. I had a flat. I took the vehicle in and the person that took my information was pretty curt and seemed rude to me. He had an attitude when I didn't understand him . He asked twice for a business address for the vehicle. I said sir I just brought the vehicle in. He said I need a business address where the vehicle is parked. I said sir it's parked here at your facility. He then finally said louder - I just need a good address for you. I said oh that's not what you described. I left it at that. He mentioned they would call in 3-4 hours. The car was dropped at 10:30am. I got a call around 4:30/5 that day. No mention of sorry it took longer. I let that slide because people are busy. Then I walked in and got my keys I asked where is this parked and the person said I don't know could be front could be back I don't know . Ok then. That's even fine whatever. However a few days later I kept noticing my muffler sounding not outrageously louder but I can tell it was not like that before. After a week of being too busy to get into a shop I also noticed my spare tire was sitting quite low to the ground and at an angle. I called Subaru and took the vehicle in for muffler exhaust issue. After a few hours Subaru tells me oh yea those two things you mentioned were related. The tire Was sitting wrong and that's why you were hearing your muffler loud. The tire was pressing against the muffler. I know that there are a lot of manufactures out there but you are a tire specialist. AND when I called my fleet vehicle management company they actually offered to have me go to Belle tire because they show up as an exhaust specialist as well. So you know tires and you know exhaust yet you put my spare back incorrectly pressing up against my exhaust this making for a quite noisy drive and potentially unsafe situation. Maybe the tire could have fallen off while I'm driving or I hit something because my typical vehicle clearance was significantly reduced. This is the winter time. Roads are already unsafe. Let's say no safety hazard occurred. It's still not proper maintenance. I have now had my vehicle in with two nails and you didn't notice it. I feel you maybe didn't even get the vehicle up on a lift. And then you put my spare up against my exhaust and incorrectly. You don't seem like a tire and muffler specialist to me. You seem like you want easy quick $$ and that's it read more

I've used the Miller Rd. location in the past with no issues and timely service AND I could actually make an appointment and get out of there in a reasonable amount of time. I thought I would try out the Grand Blanc location this time around as it was close to my home. I called ahead to check on the tires that I wished to purchase and was informed that they would have to be ordered and would take a few days to come in. Not a problem. We received the call after a few days and when my husband called them back to schedule an appointment to have them installed he was informed that it was first come, first serve. I should have known then that I was in for an ordeal. I brought the car in the following day (Saturday, 12/31/16) and after waiting a bit for someone to wait on me or at least greet me, I was informed that it would be 3 to 4 hours before it would be done. Fine, I had already arranged for my husband to pick me up. This was at 10:00 am. I left the car and figured I would get a call no later than 2:00 that afternoon. We got the call at 3:00 and THEN was informed that if I wanted an alignment, it would run an additional $69.95 and another half hour. WHO buys tires and doesn't get an alignment? Why was this not explained prior to me dropping it off? I felt bamboozled and taken advantage of. They should include this cost in the price of the tires and mounting. I agreed to get the alignment. The only saving grace to this scenario was that there was a $50.00 coupon taken off of the bill. It only ran me $20.00 more than I had budgeted. I picked the car up at 3:30. The guy that waited on me couldn't have cared less that I just spent close to $800.00 there and explained nothing to me. Just handed me the bill. I paid it and had to ask when I needed to get a rotation. When it comes time for that rotation I will either contact the Miller Rd. location or just have it done at GB Motorcars along with my oil change. I will not go back, nor recommend. read more

Took a bit longer then expected - came in just for a tire rotation and alignment check. After about 45 minutes of waiting I was told I needed front and rear alignment and it would take another 20 minutes (reasonable). This is a new place so the waiting room was quite nice. Never again. I decided to give them a try. I was told I needed about $1200 worth of repairs. I wanted a second opinion so I went to a family owned repair shop that I had dealt with before. I took the estimate from Belle tire with me so the other shop could inspect the same items. I was shocked when I found out that only 2 of the 6 items that Belle tire quoted actually needed to be replaced. I had the shop do the repairs and I spent $395 instead of the $1200 that Belle tire quoted. The scary thing is that I almost just had Belle do the repairs but something told me it wasn't right. Around 715 when they brought my car around, there was a demonic screeching sound coming from the front wheels. Turns out they bent a metal cover behind the front driver's side brake disc and it was scraping on the back if the disc. On my way home there is a wicked steering wheel shake and more scraping sounds... Have to take it back tomorrow or Wednesday... Andy, took some $ off of the total and hooked me up with a couple valve stems (needed for an atv tire) and I'll be headed back this week. Update: Andy took care of getting the replacement part that was broken during service at no charge. Despite the terrible experience from the initial visit I feel he and Belle Tire tried to do everything possible and work with me to remedy the situation. read more

This place is pretty slow compared to the center road one. It's ok if you are dropping off but if you are waiting with your car then go somewhere else. It's very laid back which is fine but just slow. I waited in front of the counter for about 10 min with 2 people open before one said can I help you. I showed up early in the morning so it's not like I was in at a peak time or anything. They are pretty nice people but the waiting area needs to be a lot better if you are going to wait this long. You can just tell how it is, normally you hear the impacts going in the background and hammering and stuff but it is really quiet (except for the 90s metal on the radio and the phones ringing lol). 2hrs and the car still isn't in, 3 people were in front of me when I showed. At least there is nirvana over the speakers while I'm posting this, the old school Metallica and Ozzy was rough . Oh god, here comes "in the still of the night". Someone help me. read more

Had a tire that was losing air fast. Stopped at Belle Tire for the first time ever to have them fix it. Usually fix this kind of stuff myself to save money but I was no where near home. Very friendly staff. I did leave my car because they were kind of busy. When they called to say it was ready, I wanted to pay over the phone because I wasn't going to get back before closing time. When told there was no charge, I was shocked. Who does anything for free any more? I had just paid $1.50 for air to fill the tire at a gas station on my way! They probably use it to try to sell other services but absolutely nothing was said to me except that my front tires were near needing to be replaced. I ended up getting back after closing time but they were still working away on other vehicles. Again a friendly greeting and they quickly got my keys and a receipt for $0 and I was on my way.
