This place is a scam. They'll sell you new tires within a matter of an hour, but that tire needs a repair or replacement, they tell you two weeks at the earliest, or drop your car off Monday and we'll get to it when we get to it. Hope you don't need to use it for a week. read more

Snapshot: Friendly service without the pushy salesman tactics. I've been to this location twice now, and both times I was quite pleased with the service. They were prompt, kind and explained in detail the various options. On my second visit, I had planned to get an alignment. They started the process, and realized that the vehicle's rear right tire was too far out of alignment for them to properly repair, and were very transparent about this, charging me absolutely nothing for the effort. They could've very easily done the work anyway, and I would've been none the wiser. This location, run by Zym Sawyer, seems to be a business of high integrity. I will be back in a couple weeks for tires on my wife's Acadia. Definitely recommend this place. If you visit, ask for Robert - he was my salesman both times, and was great to work with. read more

We received a misrepresentation of needed repairs. Thankfully I trusted my instincts and got a second opinion. I drove it to another local repair shop where they inspected the brake system, invited me to come take a look while the car was on the hoist, showed me how much life was left on the pads & rotors and actually DISCOURAGED me from making any repairs b/c they weren't needed! The only problem was a leaking caliper (which I believe was a result of the Belle Tire inspection) and they repaired it for free! This process was a result of squeaking brakes on a college students car and we were being abundantly cautious because she drives from East Lansing to home and didn't want any safety issues. These brakes were inspected at the East Lansing Belle Tire and then the New Hudson Belle Tire. Both shops quoted excessive amounts of unnecessary work at exorbitant prices. I have trusted Belle Tire and made many purchases from them in the past. I won't be returning. read more

I had a front right brake that was making noise and needed news brakes. I was so happy that they could do it right away, as, my brothers funeral was the next day and I had to travel a distance. I waited at the dealership and they got my car in as soon as I got there. Service was excellent and quick. The technician came to me and said I needed all four brakes replaced and I agreed to go ahead. Since then I have talked to my family and they have all said I shouldn't have needed rear brakes as I only have 45,000 on my car. I've lived in Milford for 6 years now and I've taken two sets of cars to this particular location: My 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass and my BMW 550i GT. I've gotten plenty done from this Belle Tire, including but, not limited to, tires rotated, tires balanced, new tires purchased and put in, and alignments. Through the six years I have come here, I have experienced work that meets expectations and some work that was far below my expectations. I ultimately give this particular location 2 stars out of five for these reasons: 1- Although the staff is friendly, they do NOT remember customers! I brought one of my cars in to get brand new (and expensive for that matter) winter tires put on. I did all the research myself and had them price match from tirerack.com. The man made my appointment and ordered the tires for me. He then proceeded to call me hours later, completely confused...telling me that the tires are more money than we thought, blah blah blah. It was almost like he didn't even remember having the original conversation with me at the store. I knew the back tires were more money due to the difference in size. I only wanted the back two tires and he tried ordering me all four! 2- When I tried to get all four tires on my Oldsmobile replaced, they totally tried to scam me saying that the price match didn't matter because of shipping cost. I did the math and I'd be saving over $200, even with shipping added. I ended up calling the Belle Tire in Hartland and they took care of me...no nonsense. ALWAYS check "Tire Rack" before agreeing to buy tires from the store. 3- Brought my car in for a tire balance. The vibration never went away so I brought it back in the next day. They then said "I donno why you weren't told this the FIRST time but your wheels are bent and that's why you are still getting the vibration." Does ANYONE communicate with one another at this store? I shouldn't have to bring my car in twice to hear about what you found the first time. 4- Before my back tires were replaced, I got a call saying that the tires were put on WRONG!!! Hummm, well the last time I took the tires off was, wait, a week ago when your guys did it!!! When I had them balanced. When I asked them who worked on my car last they were not able to tell me. These particular tires are directional and the staff seemed to have NO clue, until it was too late. THIS is why I was feeling a bigger vibration, because they put my directional tires on wrong, NOT because the wheels were bent like they stated in #3. There needs to be better communication between staff and a detailed report saying who worked on the car, what was found, what they did to it, and what they told the customer. 5- I THEN got another phone call before my tires were replaced saying that I had a missing lug nut! OMG, fuming at this point. The only other time I had work done to my tires/wheels was by this Belle Tire and all the other times (in the past month) I had brought it in, there was NOT one comment of a missing lug nut. In ADDITION to that, I make sure to check over my car every time I get it back. There was no way I lost that lug nut. Belle tire lost my lug nut and tried to just brush it off telling me it wasn't there when they got the car. 6- About the ONLY positive thing that happened with this Belle Tire was the fact that they messed up so many times that they gave me a free alignment, and yes I could tell it was done properly. Thanks for that but, honestly....I'd rather had the work done right the first time than have so many issues that you need to offer me free services. 7- Last but not least, I HIGHLY suggest your company change your "on hold" message. I don't know if anyone has ever heard it but, it is not only completely sexist but, it's annoying as fuck. No one wants to hear about "this is what a "guy" does cause we are "guys"." what the what??!?!? Hate to break it to you but even though your "guys" are certified, they seem to have to clue what they are doing. ***I had better luck at the Belle Tire off M59 near US23 in Hartland, they never tried to swindle me. read more

Went in with a tire that had a screw lodged in the center. It was the middle of a Saturday, and I knew they would be busy. I was prepared for a wait. But I also knew my tire would be flat in a few hours. I was fine with that. Until I was told that my tire was going to fall off my car, and they wouldn't fix it until I had a tie-rod put on. I understand it is a safety issue. But every time I go here for a a repair, oil change whatever it turns into a $500 job. I called my mechanic, who happens to own his own repair biz, he met me at a competitor & once it was on the rack both my mechanic & the competitor determined it was the wheel bearing on that wheel. The tire was taken off the vehicle, repaired, put back on & I drove home. The following day the repair was made. This is not the first time I have been lied to by this establishment. However, it will be the last. I have paid a lot of money to Belle Tire over the years, and with several vehicles. And while you may not miss this one customers business, if this type of business practice is continued, eventually it will be the downfall of this particular store. read more

Took My 2008 Dodge Caravan in for new tires and they told me my back shocks and front struts needs to be replaced, and I told them I'll bring it back in a few weeks to get it done. Went to Firestone and had them check it and they said both the shocks and struts were fine. Now 2 days ago My 3 month old tire went flat and took it up to Belle Tire to get a patch put on and they said the tire was no good had a sidewall leak and had to be replaced for 185 dollars. I know it wasn't that because the leak was coming from the tread I said forget it I will pick it up in the morning! I will run it up to tire center elsewhere and have it checked out. I have been going to this tire center to buy new tires every 2 years for the past 10 years but now it's time to go elsewhere. read more

Knew I needed new brakes and rotors. They gave a good quote (only 10 dollars more than my local shop) and performed the service as expected. They are pretty hassle free and it was efficient. They also suggested a ball joint and new struts, as they currently have a promotion for them going. I still have 10,000 miles to go on my recommended struts and no signs of needing them, so I'm not sure if this was a can't miss deal or an up-sell. I'd keep an eye out on promotions and use any coupons towards service as if you time things right it is a good deal. I went to the New Hudson Mi location on 8-25-20. I arrived at 5:30 and they close at 6:00. I had a flat tire and was able to get some air in from my place of employment. I told the guy at the counter my circumstance. I said I need a tire tonight just to get home, cause I live in flint. He came out looked at my tires and said they need to be replaced. But he refused to put a tire on that night. He said they dont have time. There were no customers in the waiting area, and 3 employees walking around doing nothing. I had to change my tire and put my spare donut on to make it home. I have done business with belle tire for 12 plus years. They could have had a new tire on in 15 min or so. Complete morons. I gave them a set of brand new OEM tire pressure monitors/stems to install with my new tires. When the job was done the only replaced the monitors and did not install the new stems. They said that I did not need them and that it was their policy to reuse the stems. They said, there's nothing wrong with your old stems. I said that they are made of rubber and are 10 years old and I gave you new ones to install. They agreed to install the new stems. When I left, the newly installed stems were not the same. Some were long and some were short and the caps did not fit. I went across the street to the D--- T--- and they installed new matching properly fitting stems for free. read more

Second location to not take my business seriously. A simple tire rotation and inspection turned out to be too much for them to handle. They tried to give me my car back without doing a 28 point pre sale inspection like we agreed on. Luckily I caught it on the phone when they called to say the car was ready. Then they told me this 28 point inspection would be 5 maybe 10 more minutes. That's a suspiciously fast inspection. Then they told me this $1,000 2007 with over 100k miles was in "perfect" condition. That's a red flag when they don't try to upswell you especially when I know of a few things that could be replaced such as brakes, an oil change, even windshield wipers. I was prepared to spend about $300. They should re consider their inspection policy especially since they glossed right over the fact that one of my tires was at 20 PSI. I bought 4 new tires here even though I only needed 3 because of this rebate I wanted through Cooper tire. I told the guy this. It was a hectic time for me as I was leaving for a month long road trip that week. He never gave me a receipt so I could get the rebate. Instead he gave me a WAY over inflated estimate of $1500.00 of work I needed to get done. He said my rotors were all rusty and beyond repair even to grind? My boyfriend was doing the brakes before i left anyway just cause it's so cheap and easy and I would be driving through the mountains, but they did not seem bad at all. When my boyfriend showed me the rotors and the slight specks of a trace of rust around the rims I just wish I had a picture for u folks. Belle Tire was definitely trying to rip me off. I had even told the guy that my father has just passed away and given me the car too and was buried in New Hudson cemetery and he would be watching so do a good job. So what a jerk! Times they are a changing in New Hudson. The tires were fine cause I didn't ask for their help. I got Cooper like always. Made in Ohio. Always have good luck with them. And for any REAL automotive work I need I go to Walker's in South Lyon for years. Trusted pros. I went there and was in and out for under 200 bucks in a couple hours. Todd found the only thing that was really wrong with my car a broken sway bar clip. I had went there thinking I needed a new belt but it was just the idler pulley which there was nothing to do about that and he told me so instead of trying to make more money. And walkers was right! I got all the way through desert and mountains to California and back with that belt and without any trouble. Next time I need tires I'll just continue to go to Walkers like usual. I had a bad experience with Belle Tire in New Hudson. I was a customer for many years,went there on a Wednesday to get my tire looked at ,I had a slow leak. Was told I needed to make a Appointment. They said they were all booked up this week it would have to be next week. So I made a appointment for Thursday at 9am.Mean while I had to put Air in my tire every day,this was a hardship for me because I am on Oxygen .I called Belle Tire back on Monday and asked if they had a earlier appointment and was told Wednesday at 3pm,so they canceled out Thursdays appointment and changed it to Wednesday.Some thing told me to call and verify my appointment, I was told I was not down for a appointment.I called Customer Service in Troy and spoke to Don who was very helpful ,he informed me that I was down for a appointment on Wednesday.Don took care of it ,New Hudson Belle called with in 5 min and told me to bring my car in at 3pm my original appointment.Look at all I had to go Threw and one last thing . I bought four brand new tires from belle tire at the Lansing, MI location about 2 or 3 months ago. Today traveling back to lansing from Redford after work, my tire went flat. I pulled over to the nearest Belle Tire, which was in New Hudson. It was around 5:10pm. I was feeling lucky since I thought they would help me. Instead they told me I would have to wait at least a day or two before they could get to it. Even after I told them I was stranded and would not be able to get home. I rolled my car across the intersection to Discount Tire, they immediately helped me, gave me a new tire since there was a nail in the side (not repairable - which would have been free) then called Michelin tire for me and got me 50% off my new tire since the punctured tire was brand new. Then offered me a lifetime free fix to all of my tires for a small price, even the ones I bought from Belle Tire. To end this, I am disgusted with the treatment from belle tire, my family, who owns 5 cars, will never be back to a Belle Tire, of which had previously gone to for every single tire need. read more

Had 4 new tires put on my car in December of 2018 that are covered under warranty until December of 2019. I called today because we ended up with a flat tire over the weekend and needed to utilize the warranty. I was assured by one of the reps that they had the tire in stock and that they could have it finished tonight, awesome. I send my fiance up there to drop off the rim and pay the pro-rated warranty price just for him to call me and tell me that they in fact do not have the tire in stock and that the gentleman he spoke to had said that whoever I talked to lied to me. At this point I'm upset. They send my fiance to Novi belle tire to have them help him. Whatever. He gets to novi and is told that they also have no tires in our size in stock and they have no idea why they would Send him over there because they can see in the system what is in stock at each location. So now we still won't have a new tire until sometime tomorrow and we drove around for no reason. This is not the first time I've had an issue at the New Hudson location. No one knows what they're doing, or how to fix the mistakes that they have made. I recommend ANYWHERE but here. If I didn't have the warranty on the tires I would have taken my business to a different company. I can promise that we will no longer give money to any belle tire store and neither will any of our friends or family as we have already made them aware of how crappy of a company it is. I will never return to this location.I went to have the muffler replaced. They ordered all the parts,which were delayed because the driver was stuck in traffic. In the mean time they tore my car apart my to save time. After being in the store for about 6 hours the parts finally came,but they were all wrong. They could not fix my car there and took to Tuffy . They told me Tuffy could fix it with no problem well once again they lied. I am still without my car. A had to rent a car to go to work. I think Belle Tire should pay for my rental since they took my apart before they if the parts would fit . I have tried to contact Belle Tire, but have not received a response. read more

I loved my experience at Belle Tire in New Hudson! I thought I had a bad tire pressure sensor because my Traverse gave me a warning light saying my Rt Front tire was low but a quick check with a tire gauge said it wasn't. I took my car to the local Chevy dealer for service and they told me that when the dealer rotated my tires last month they must have forgotten to reset the sensors to the new tire locations. The warning light said "rt front" but it was actually the "rt rear" tire that was leaking. I was not happy that I wasted my time going to a dealer for a tire problem since they are notoriously expensive compared to Belle Tire. The dealer told me they could "fix" my problem but when I inquired if they could repair the leak for free like Belle Tire would the dealer pointed to the nail and said "This tire cannot be repaired due to the location of the nail - it must be replace!" My car has 12k miles on it and I was not eager to buy a new SET of tires for my AWD vehicle from the dealer so I left and went to Belle Tire across the street. They were quick, friendly and repaired the leak for free! If I had stayed at the dealer I would have been out several hundred dollars. Belle Tire has absolutely earned my trust and ,my business.
