Not a great experience. Back in November called on a Saturday to see if they could put on my snow tires. Confirmed with the rep that I have my own tires and they will be in the car when I drop it off. He told me they could do it on Monday and never asked about the age of the tires. Dropped my car off on Saturday for them to work on it first thing Monday morning. On Monday I received a call that since my snow tires are over 10 years old they "won't touch them". Then proceeded to tell me I could purchase new snow tires through them. (These snow tires have only been used through a few winters and are practically brand new, so it wasn't an issue with them being too worn.) While I understand it's Belle Tire's corporate policy not to work with tires over 10 years old, it would have been great if the rep had gone over that when I told him I had my own snow tires prior to coordinating a ride to drop off my car. I then had to coordinate another ride to pick up my car and take it to another shop (USA Tire) who was willing to put my snow tires on. read more

This is the 5th time I have been screwed over by this location! Don't ask me why I went back a second third fourth and now a fifth time but usually it's just to have them fix a problem like a flat but they're now claiming that the hazard protection that I had paid for in 2022 expired 3 years ago on January 4th! I purchased what I thought were new tires. I had a slow leak from the very beginning and should have immediately brought my car back to bell tire but I did not. Over time, the leak became worse so I took my car back up to bell tire to repair the leak. They said they they couldn't guarantee they could have it finished by the end of the day so I brought my car to Discount Tire. Discount tire inspected my tires and found a plug. I've never had those serviced. Bell tire then told me I had to have had a gas station or repair man plug the tire because they only sell new tires. I save every receipt from oil changes, tires, and brakes. The only explanation is Bell Tire sold me a plugged tire. read more

I've been using this location for some time now, with my wife and they are reliable and accommodating. I appreciate the extra care and time that they took to ensure that my car and my wife's car are in safe and operable condition. Recently I went in to simply have a tire repaired and dealt with an agent Mr. David East, who took the time to inspect the brakes and rotors. Mr. East prepared a quote that was significantly less than the dealership where we had planned to take the car for this work, saving us hundreds of dollars. I always took my cars to the dealership where we consistently overpay for simple service, I initially only came here for a tire deal but after having many positive experiences including battery replacement and oil changes would recommend having your PM done here. This Bell are much faster, more accommodating, and fairly priced. I highly reccomend this location and appreciate the care, concern, and patience of the staff here. read more

Great tire selection and service. However I am tired that every time I go in for a rotation I get a laundry list of recommended repairs that are bogus. They are constantly up selling to make unnecessary repairs. Adding to that they over charge for parts (up to 3x retail price at local parts store) and inflate labor costs for repairs (especially suspension related as they are the easiest and quickest). For example they quoted me $1200 to replace front struts but I was able to do it myself in my driveway with same quick strut parts in 35minutes for a total cost of $250. Be fair and reasonable. Not gauging and taking advantage of those who don't have auto repair knowledge. read more

Usually go to another tire shop, but Belle was having a sale so thought I'd give it a go. Made an appointment for 11am (lunch hour) and went up there a couple of days later. One hour later the manger walks out, I'm thinking ok, little bit long, but good... but he is just coming out with an estimate for alignment and shocks, etc. I ask him if my truck is ready, he says another hour! WTF? Two hours!!?? Woulda been nice to know. Coulda went out for a walk, had some lunch, maybe arranged for a ride... What the hell is the point of an appointment? See how this works - typically an appointment means you or your car get in pretty much right around the appointment time.... otherwise its not really an appointment.... I suggest watching the Seinfeld episode re Reservations...very similar and educational... He told me "Holiday weekend, busy"... Yep. Which is why I had the foresight to make an appointment, early. But either Belle tire over booked or they really don't give a crud about appointments and just take first come first serve anyhow... Regardless, the "other" place is always busy and I've never had a 2.25 hour wait for tires, and if I have an appointment.... they take care of you ASAP...... Made an appointment to get tires put on my car and once I got there they informed me they didn't have the tires that I selected online. They tried to sell me a different tire that I didn't want so I left. Later that evening I went on the website and selected the tires I wanted they were not in stock but could be there in a couple days. So I made the appointment a few days out to get the tires I wanted put on my car. This time I drop the car off double check that they have the tires and leave the car with them. I get a call about an hour later stating that my alignment was out, funny thing is I just got an alignment two weeks ago so I know they're just trying to upsell. I told him I don't want the alignment and they agreed. I return later to pick up the car and lo and behold the price is more than what the website originally quoted me. After a few minutes and some discussion they agreed to split the difference with me. Never again belle tire adios!! PS they require me to give a star though I disagree with that rating! read more

I honestly feel like I shouldn't be giving two stars. Customer service was not the best, and over a span of 4 months, I had to take my car in 4 times. The last time before my tire went bad, I picked up my car and the second I left the lot, my light came on and my tire started losing air again. Now I need a completely new tire, but I'm going somewhere else for that. I'm honestly not 100% sure that they fixed the tire originally when I brought it in. My daughter got tires from here and they gave her an estimate, which she did not ask for, for a broken steering knuckle assembly, bad ball joint and control arm for almost $1400. Took her car to another shop. Only thing wrong with the steering knuckle assembly is a bolt needed replaced, ball joint did need to be replaced and there was nothing wrong with the control. Total bill little over $250. This place way overcharges for parts such as $600 for knuckle assembly as compared to $250 elsewhere. Only thing this place is good for it taking your money for repairs that are not necessary. read more

Low tire signal on my dashboard and needed my tires rotated When I left supposedly everything taken care Of I was wrong . My low tire signal was still on I went back to store they told me to drive farther that it takes a while to shut off . Took my car here to get a simple alignment, not only did it come back with a crooked wheel (not properly aligned) but it also came back driving shakily and making an awful noise. I took it back within a couple days and they refused to resolve the issue or even take a look at my car. It was fine before the alignment, driving fine, and then after they worked on it, clearly another issue that they caused and won't take responsibility for. read more

I had originally planned to not review Belle Tire, but after what was done to my car, and several of my cars before it at this location, I have to warn others of the experience that I had. I had thought to let Belle Tire, in Shelby Twp, know that my wheels were in perfect condition and that I expected them to be returned in the same condition. I also specified that I wanted stick on balances and not for them to attempt to crimp on external weights, because they damage the surface of the wheel. Please see the attached pictures. The first few show the gouged wheels after visiting Belle Tire. The second four show the condition of the wheels on the same day prior to visiting. So the evidence is clear that this was done at the Belle Tire facility. This also means that it was not only me who had damaged wheels. I'd expect anyone coming to this facility and using this tire mounter has the same damage and just didn't notice it. For this damage, Belle Tire did refund my payment for the tires, which I am thankful for. However, the story didn't end here. The balances, which I specified to be internal balances, were stuck on muddy and dirty surfaces and immediately came loose. All four wheels are now out of balance due to the loss of wheel balances on each wheel. Lastly, Belle Tire did not provide the alignment promised with the new tires because they said that my vehicle needed multiple parts replaced, equaling over $1000. Being a suspension engineer, I was able to check each component, and they are not at all worn. I was able to get the wheels aligned locally without issue. My previous tires lasted 80000 miles. I find it difficult to believe that this damage and wheel balance item wasn't done purposely by someone who didn't appreciate my instruction. If that wasn't the case, then it was certainly incompetence. The suggestion to replace the suspension components was an attempt, even in the face of the damage they knew they did, to profit dishonestly. Amazingly, someone was sitting next to me with a late model van who was also told to replace their suspension components. read more

When I came out to my car after working out at the gym, I noticed I had a flat tire. Luckily, I was about 500 ft from this Belle Tire location, so I drove right over and it didn't appear to be too busy. I walked in, was greeted by one of the workers, told them I had a flat tire, gave them my information and keys and had a seat. Within 10 minutes they had my car in the shop. That was a good sign I thought. It started getting busier and with each person that came in, the same courteous service was given. I was impressed. Within 30 minutes they had my tire fixed. I had run over a piece of metal and they were able to patch the tire. I was so relieved I didn't have to buy a new tire. I paid them a nominal fee and was off and home. What great service I received. So refreshing to have something fixed so quickly and in a timely manner. read more

So here we are 13 months after taking my car to this Belle Tire for a brake job, and my 2013 Ford Focus is still driving fine! Unlike the scare tactic the Manager at this Belle Tire attempted to do to try and scare me into spending over $1,200.00 more dollars by telling me my front suspension won't last another 3 to 6 months without falling apart on me! The worse part is, I had it inspected at another store and was told this is typical of this particular store! WOW have used Belle Tire for all of my service needs on all of my vehicles in my family now I have to start all over again finding a place I can trust! read more

Made an appointment 2 weeks ago for a tire rotation I showed up for my tire rotation and was told they would have to reschedule me because they were 20 cars behind, nobody called to ask if I could reschedule they waited until I drove all the way down to the store to tell me. I guess making an appointment doesn't mean anything to this company and neither do the people who buy tires and go in to get them rotated and they wanted to reschedule me for 2- 3 weeks from my appointment. This is not the first issue I have had with this Shelby Township location but it will be the last. I have bought tires for both of my vehicles here and spent alot of hard earned money with Belle Tire, but I won't again in the future. Not that it matters but you lost a customer today. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. I came in to get a TPS ( Tire Pressure Sensor ) installed. Long story short they installed the new sensor.. explained to me that they couldnt complete the "re learn" process. So the TPS wasnt activated.. they still wanted me to pay. I explained to them that I wont be paying for a part that they couldnt get functioning. I told the manager to grab the tool and perform the process in front of me. He did and low and behold it worked! So in short the gentleman working in the shop by the name of "nick" you chose to not finish your job AND here I am 3 months later because the sensor they sold me already went bad ( which I expect them to fight with me regarding the replacement) but NICK never put my "tire key" back in my vehicle. And of course they found my key in a huge bucket of keys "left" by other car owners... Dont waste your time.. theres a place down the road from here that is MUCH more professional and trustworthy. read more

My opinion, find another company to do business with. First, After receiving a phone estimate for the repair of rear brakes... I went into the store and was given a quote that was almost $60 more... When I questioned the difference the counter person then came back and said "oh we merged the estimate " What?? Very slippery operation. Secondly... After this establishment was fined $7000 by the attorney general of Michigan for COVID masking noncompliance I have photo evidence of both employees and customers who were not wearing masks and when I confronted some they refused to wear masks... Day 1: in the area, low tire. Stopped in to get it checked. Nail in tire. Technician notices wear on rotor. Replace rotor and pads on one side. Ask to rotate tires. $450. Day 2: wake up to flat tire. Stem is cracked on 1 tire. Change to spare, bring it in, but almost could not stop at stop sign. Was informed that stem issue was not theirs. Break issue was faulty back calipers. Need to replace calipers and pay for broken stem. $475. Day 3: wake up to flat tire. Inflate and borrow wife's car to go to work. Day 4: wife borrowing car as I have further to drive. Difficulty stopping and noticed severe grinding. Was not near belle tire so took it to local mechanic. Right back caliper fell off, bolts not tightened. Left caliper only had 1 bolt left. Local mechanic fixed leak around rim on original tire. $175 Day 5: paid about 1k for a slow leak (which belle tire never fixed) Learned to never go to this Belle Tire location. read more

I've been an enthusiastic supporter of this particular Belle Tire location for years. I've recommended them to others without regret, until now. I'm taking my business elsewhere now after three recent transactions that did not meet my expectations for customer service. It's not clear what has changed, but from recent experiences, I can no longer recommend them. In brief, here are my concerns. We had to have a bill corrected to remove the tire warranty charges. We were not asked if we wanted to add the warranty on a new set of Michelin tires, it just showed up on the bill. They corrected the bill upon our request. Not a major issue, but cause for concern. Another concern involved a family member (female). I recommended they take their vehicle to this location to have a slow leak in the tire checked out. They arrived at the store and informed the sales associate what was wrong. For some unknown reason, the salesperson could not understand the request/condition so the family member contacted me. I asked to speak with the associate. I spoke with the sales associate while the family member was there, and they assured me that they understood the situation and they would take care of it. Afterward, I spoke with the family member and they assured me they made the same request. They came away feeling disrespected. Finally, two weeks ago, just before Thanksgiving break, I took my corporate national account vehicle in to have a tire repaired. It turned out that all tires needed to be replaced due to wear. I also requested an oil change. These repairs needed approval from the national account that owned the vehicle. I left the vehicle on Tuesday with the assurance that it would be completed Wednesday, the next day. I called Wednesday for an update and was told they were still on track for completion for the tires but the oil change was not approved. I found this odd so I called the corporate lease vehicle national account customer service. I learned they had not been contacted by Belle Tire for approval to perform any service on this vehicle, but based on my call, they would work with Belle Tire to get the work done. Needless to say, the vehicle wasn't ready Wednesday. I never heard from Belle Tire so I called Friday. They said the vehicle was ready and that they had called twice but couldn't leave a message due to a full voicemail (it wasn't). I checked my recent calls and found no evidence they had called. When I picked up my vehicle the Saturday following Thanksgiving I met with the sales associate handling my transaction. He was polite but didn't offer an apology for the delays or the communication issues. read more

When I bring my car he said that's how long the car will take to just change my tires, tires already purchased w wheel and tire attached. All they had to do was swap it out. Needed new tires badly and being a girl I don't know much about cars. I called up and asked general prices of how much it would cost me for new tires on my Sedan. One of the assistant managers, Frank, was very helpful over the phone and walked me through the whole process-even waited with me on the phone while helping me check my tire size. He was very patient and friendly and suggested I come in and see him. I went in on a rainy day with hopes of being able to be in and out within an hour. Frank helped me chose the best tires for my budget and I was also made aware that I needed an alignment-which he offered me up a coupon for to help bite down on the cost. I was in and out less than 45 minutes and had a very pleasant experience and will definelty be coming back to this location. read more

Took my car in for a front end alignment, got there early on a Friday and was told no problem shouldn't be more than 1 hour, 2-1/2 hours later it was finally done. I was told I needed all 4 tires aligned. no problem I was glad to have to done it if needed it. The tech that did the work was outside on a smoke break so I asked him if I had any other issues with my front end, he said nope, everything else was in good shape. Driving my car the next day and a hear a rattle in my front end. I took it back and had them check out the rattle. This time I was told they should have never did an alignment, my ball joints are bad and I have a broken front strut spring. my salesman apologized for their error and quoted me a price to fix everything. needless to say I won't be going back to any Belle Tire store and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

He says you can walk in and get it changed, but I don't want to walk in during Coronna virus time. I don't want any contact with people . So he says I can make an appointment online to drop off . I came in to get my tire looked at, had a slow leak. Was told the day before that is I got to the shop at about 7:45 that they could take me in right away to get me to work. As I sat outside waiting in the rain waiting for them to open at 8am, the manager came straight to the door and opened early so I would not wait in the rain. Took my vehicle in right away to get me on the road as quickly as possible. This was customer service at it's finest. I will always come here from now on. I live by two closer Belle Tire locations, this one in Shelby Township will be my go to. read more

Took my jeep in to get a front end alignment they qouted me $69.99 even after saying that i got a full alignment and the one in troy for only $50, but i needed the alignment so i said thats fine. an hour later they call saying that they just got it on the lift and they found i had a loose bolt on my track bar and they would have to charge me $30 to tighten it to torque. i told them i dont want them to do it ans i was told that they can not let me drive the vehicle off the premis like it was. (note i have been driving it like this for about a week) i would not recomend THIS belle tire to anyone, after bringing it to the belle tire in troy they did the alighnment for $40 out the door after torqueing the bolt down for free. read more

Several months ago, took vehicle there for a tire and was told the ball joints needed to be replaced. $600. We looked at vehicle in our shop and the ball joints were fine! Also tire leaked after they replaced, so we took to the Rochester Hills Belle Tire, they said the rim had never been cleaned when tire was mounted! The Rochester location then told us the wheel bearings needed to be replaced (never mentioned ball joints) Upon inspection, wheel bearings were also fine. Have put 10,000 Miles on since with no ball joint or bearing problems Do not trust these people, they lie! read more

If i could 0 stars I would. Have tried on multiple occasions to go into this Belle Tire at 23 mile rd and Van Dyke, and every time I have, they have been rude, no sense of customer service. Will talk to you as if you are nothing or not important. I usually go to the Belle Tire at 17-1/2 and Van Dyke, but there have been emergencies that have arise, that I tried a closer location. One of the biggest mistakes! I would rather take the chance of driving the distance to go to a store that respects their customers! read more
