Ordered Rims for my vehicle and called me to swing in to get them swapped stating they weren't busy around 9am Went in dropped off and asked approximately how long Eugen said 1.15hrs so I went ahead and started working remote... 2hrs went by and was getting worried because my doctors appointment was at 1130. I went back and asked Eugen approximately how much longer he said should be soon and didn't understand why it's taking so long.. I said I'll be missing my doctors appointment and wasn't expecting to wait this long or I would've scheduled a different day or time. He said no worries, and gave me his keys to his personal car...... This was not necessary and beyond shocking on how great of manager and person Eugen is overall. I took him up on his offer made it to my appointment down the street came back and my vehicle was complete. Few months later, this week, husband takes care in for tire issue, good thing I bought the warranty, brand new tire splitting. Then they strip a lug bolt and my husband was not aware I had just paid for new ones when he picked up and leave us with a issue to take care of. What a joke! read more

I just left Discount tire, Chesterfield Twp., Mi. I went in for tire pressure sensors. I was told I needed new tires because mine were over ten years old and were unsafe. I declined and left. When I arrived home, I looked at the tires and one was a 2017 and the other was a 2020. The other two tires had the codes on the inside edge and could not be seen without lifting the car or taking the wheel off. They tried to sell me tires that I did not need! After airing up tire for a few days, I decided to stop in shortly after location opened (on a Saturday) and had tire evaluated and plugged. I went to the New Baltimre Store for a leak and they showed me that the tire that I wanted fixing had been run low for so long that there was tire powder all over the inside of the tire so I had to buy two tires but they did a good job and were fast. So I'm happy. read more

This place is run very poorly. Way understaffed. Ordered my tires and made an appointment online for today. Got a text earlier today saying that the tires were in. Got to the store early and waited 15 minutes in line. They finally took my keys and said 30-45 minutes. Went back 45 minutes later and they haven't even pulled my car in yet. Expect to spend most of the day here if you ever elect to use them. I personally will never come back. read more

This place lies and tries to get more money from people. i needed a hole fixed from a nail in the bottom, center of the tire. They couldn't fix it, but of course could sell me new tires. They also said my tires didnt have enough tread anyway, and only at 4/32". My vehicle only has 25,000 miles on it. I took it somewhere else. They fixed the hole and said tires were still good, 6/32" to 7/32", which is what I was gauging as well. Don't bother with this place... Seriously the car and tires have 25,000 miles, and I'm not popping wheelies or doing donuts. Came in cuz I had a flat. already knew my driver rim was a little messed up. First impression is very nice, Danny L was very nice at first, but truthfully I'm not sure he knew exactly what he was doing. I came in, my rim a little bent, ok? Says he can hammer it out, cool. Hammers rim out, buy two new front tires cuz my snow tires were dead, get back in my car and the wheel is unbalanced as all hell. Get out, and notice the weight was completely gone from my driver side rim, leaving my wheel extremely unbalanced. And then, I notice my BRIGHT RED (matches the color of my car) valve stem cover is missing that I literally just got as a gift 2 days ago. I don't know how you managed to lose it in 30 minutes with two tires. Not to mention, my passenger side valve cover was still there. My nice METAL cover. Thanks For replacing my metal red cover with a shitty plastic black one and never telling me any of this info until I found out myself. So thank you for not really making my day any better, I won't be bringing my tires back here and will be taking them else where to be rebalanced. read more

Jose and Gene left and the place is falling apart!! Now i see why they left!!!! Our appointment was 4:15pm!! The truck was pulled in and we sat for 2 1/2 hours!!! NEVER AGAIN!! No way!!! This was for a tire rotation!!! If your that backed up you should let the customer know!!!! Making someone sit that long is terrible customer service!!! The guys in the back were confused and slow!!! I used to go here for every tire repair and trusted them with my vehicle. I even bragged about their service. Recently I brought my car in for a tire change. And they told me it may take a few hours or up to a day to receive my tire since they had to order it. Which was fine I was in no rush. I dropped my car off around 10 in the morning , came to pick it up at 4 pm the next day , and it wasn't even worked on apparently. Something as easy as a tire change I would've thought would be done first. Especially since I dropped it off the morning before. Anyway that was my first red flag right, so I am sitting there waiting for my car to be finished for about 40 minutes now when someone walks up to me and informs me that my vehicle was in an accident! Isn't that something you tell someone right away when they check-in??? Not 40 minutes into me waiting for car that's already supposed to be ready. So they tell me it's not bad it's just a few paint scratches and gives me a business card to get in contact with. When I am at the place of business, the DaVinci of Michigan , he tells me he cannot fix it and will let discount tire know I need to see a body repair shop. Days turn to weeks and I did not hear from anyone for about 2 weeks. They send me to this claims agency , which does not get back to me for another week and a half till I text , email , and call them , come and find out discount tire never made a claim for my car. When I called there "Brandon " answered my call and seemed as if he really had no interest of knowledge of my claim, so I asked for someone maybe a little more knowledgeable on the subject and was met with someone who also seemed like they could really care less. As someone who's worked in customer service for many years , I would not talk to a LOYAL customer which MY business fucked her car up like that. Then failed to properly inform her maybe with a phone call or something I don't know? Certainly I will not be coming here for my car needs anymore which is a shame because this is the only place I've gone for many years , anyone have any suggestions? read more

Scheduled a Appointment for a Tire Balance and Rotation, after 7,500 miles on my New Tires purchased 8-Months ago. My service repair person Nehemiah, did a excellent job and explained to me that only 1- of my tires were slightly out of Balance. My observation watching "employees" from Check-in too Management and workers was poetry in motion. I had an appointment at 1:45 to repair a simple flat, the front desk guy argued with me about wether I should get new tires. I told him I just wanted mine repaired because I didn't have the money for new tires at the moment. He was very pushy about how I needed new tires, finally I said unless you are paying for them I just want my current tire repaired. He just walked away without saying a word. Then over an hour after my appointment time they came and took my truck to the back. What's the point of taking appointments if you don't stick to the appointment time? I get it if a walk in takes that long, but don't even take appointments if you can't stick to them. I will not be returning to this place when I buy new tires in a couple months. read more

5 huge stars for these saviors!!! We drove from Pennsylvania to Michigan last night and as we pulled into our friend's driveway, we heard the hissing sound of a deflating tire. Literally, NO ONE we called was able to help as we were up against a weekend and the matching tire isn't an easy find. Mike from Discount Tire was quick to help us brainstorm the issue and literally got an equivalent tire on within about an hour. I'm amazed. The entire crew there worked efficiently and with smiles on their faces. I bought tires and scheduled the installation on line. When I came to the appointment, everything was ready, including an empty bay. Gene, one of the sales people, got everything started for me, while simultaneously answering customer calls without losing his focus on my installation. The installation took about 43 minutes and the technician took the time to put my spare tire away in the trunk and apologized that he was not able to reset the low tire warning light. That was not a problem for me as I had previously reset it 6 years ago and it took an internet search to find the the reset button under the dash! This was the best tire shop experience I have had, and I am over 70 years old! read more

I live near the Discount Tire in Chesterfield but go out of my way to go to the DiscountTire on Hall Road at Tisch because I have NEVER had an acceptable experience at the Chesterfield Store. I have made appointments and still have to wait hours for service because the do a "first come first served" attitude so, appointments don't help. Every time I stop to have the air checked in my tires there is nobody available so I have to do it myself and then I was yelled at by an employee for using the equipment. Today the light came on telling me I had a low tire. Being I was already in the vicinity I took a chance and stopped at the Chesterfield store. I tried several times to see if I could get help and was totally ignored so I did the air myself. AGAIN. I try very hard not to use this location. The staff is rude and they ignore you. I bought my tires brand new in February of this year at the Tilch Road store and I will be taking all of my business to them in the future. The service is absolutely fabulous! We had three tires with screws in them. They only sold us one where a replacement was really needed and plugged the others. We also had a frozen lug nut that they took care of quickly with no extra charge. They run a great business! We dealt with at least two different people and both we very helpful. After purchasing tires for our fwd vehicle, we went for the free tire rotation and balancing. Worker refused to rotate stating the front tires were worn down too far and would be a safety issue rotating them saying we needed to purchase at least 2 new tires. Last I new, your best tires should be in the front when driving a fwd. Will never buy tires here again. read more
