I have called Belle View 4 times with the last being today. The first time was several years ago. The water pipe going to the outside hose bib had burst over the winter. Most of the plumbers I called quoted me a ridiculously expensive quote without even coming to the house. That is when I called Belle View Plumbing. We made an appointment and Ibrahim was on time. No waiting around. After a quick examination, he explained the problem. I had him replace the burst pipe and install a new shut-off valve inside the house so the pipe would not freeze in the winter. He did an excellent job at a fair price. Yesterday was the fourth time I called him. Over the last week, I had noticed a reduction in water pressure in my bathroom faucet. I called Belle View at 2:50 pm. After explaining the problem to Ibrahim he said he was on his way to another job but could stop by my house now. He arrived within 5 minutes. After taking a quick look he explained to me that the aerator was dirty. He popped it out cleaned it and told me I needed a new one. He did not want to charge me since he was at my house for less than 5 minutes. I insisted on giving him money but he refused repeatedly. I am not a plumber but I can fix a few things on my own, but I depend on experts like Ibrahim for the ones I can not. Best we could have asked for. The person to whom I'm related by marriage first notified me of a disturbance in our water closet's operation around 4pm. After making contact with Belle View and receiving a price quote, I notified the advocate at Belle View that I would be attempting to collect several price quotes. I went on collecting price quotes, and in an unusually candid discussion, I mentioned the above identified price quote from Belle View, and the person in the candid discussion suggested that was a really good price quote, the one from Belle View. I called Belle View back and notified the advocate that I would very much appreciate their business, the advocate indicated that he would be arriving at the agreed upon time. My 40 gallon electrical water heater needed replacing - it was leaking and actually started on fire. I got quotes from four plumbing companies and Ibrahim came in $200 to $400 less than most others. He was the only one who came by the see the situation before giving me a quote. He was willing to do it on a Saturday without charging me a weekend surplus fee (I called Thursday afternoon). I wanted to cover a large hole in the drywall next to the water heater that I could only do once the tank was removed and he didn't mind giving me 15 minutes to make the repair. The new tank was a little taller than the old tank so the covering on the electrical wiring was unable to go into the covered tank hook-up area so he texted the problem and a picture to an electrical company that he knows to get me a quote for the needed electrical work - which was a real bonus. Really great local northern Virginia plumber. I fully clogged a kitchen sink drain by trying to snake it myself when it was draining slowly. By Friday at 11pm I had a sink full of black water that wasn't draining at all. I called Belle View Saturday at 9:30 am and Ibrahim was here at 12:30pm. He was very responsive to texts confirming ahead of time and showed up and did the job quickly. He snaked years of grease out as far as 25 ft. down the drain pipe, no way I could have resolved this on my own. Woke up to the sound of running water in the basement on a Sunday morning-water pouring down a wall. I called 3 different plumbers and am still waiting for a call back from 2 of them. After describing it, he was quite honest about ways to save money on the plumbing cost, and even lent us one of his tile cutting tools so we could cut through the tile ourselves (to save on cost).
