Earlier this week, my hot water heater failed (significant leaking) and it needed to be replaced asap. I reached out via Yelp to five different plumbing companies in the NoVa area for quotes and an idea of when they could help me out. Arlington Plumbing Heating and Cooling replied to my inquiry within minutes. I received quotes from three companies and Arlington Plumbing's quote was competitive. I was sold by Arlington Plumbing's promptness to my request and their professionalism on the phone. It was 9am, and I was told I would have hot water by the end of the day. Arlington Plumbing Heating and Cooling delivered. I was given an estimate of the time they could do the work and over the course of the day I was contacted a number of times via phone that they were on track. Arlington Plumbing arrived at the agreed upon time, did the work with a professional manner, they did a great job of cleaning up, and I had hot water before my spouse arrived home from work. My spouse thought I was a hero, but it was really Arlington Plumbing Heating and Cooling that was the hero. Thank you. I will definitely use this company again when I have my next plumbing issue. If I could give it negative stars, I would. They installed an ac unit for me 2 years ago for thousands of dollars and never put in enough refrigerant. Last year they came out to add a little more. This year they refused to service it. Please do not use this service. No integrity what so ever. read more

He has everything needed in his truck, so he was able to start immediately. The was very pleased with the quality of the work and the price was reasonable. You call and you will be surprised of another timing slot you are scheduled for So simply you have to take off that day waiting for the plumber because of a scheduling problem by someone who is supposed to be a coordinator !!! I returned from several weeks away to find a broken hot water heater. After reading positive Yelp reviews, I decided to try Arlington Plumbing. I couldn't believe they answered the phone at 10:15pm as I was fully excepting to leave a voicemail. The nice woman on the phone assured me that someone would be at my house between 8-10am to take a look at it. Limbert arrived at 9 and wasn't surprised to learn that my 15 year old water heater was no longer functioning. He was able to remove the old water heater and replace it with a new one that afternoon. I greatly appreciated the speedy, efficient and friendly service. While water heaters are expensive the price was very fair. Ran into some issues with a leaky pull down kitchen faucet at a rental condo which was then complicated by a supposedly "elite" TaskRabbit making the leak worse and forcing a shut-off. Quoted numerous different shops on Yelp and Arlington was fast and transparent in offering a free, no hassle estimate one day later. On appointment day they ran a little late but Samei gave a sincere apology and provided very fair pricing for a same day repair (replacement faucet was already purchased from Home Depot). We had a terrible water leak (are any not terrible?) and Arlington Plumbing Heating and Cooling were able to send a plumber promptly, who was able to quickly locate the source and then worked tirelessly to get to the large pipe hidden behind the kitchen sink cabinet (required careful removal of a portion of the cabinet back in a very tight space) and to cut out a section of thick, 68-year-old iron pipe and to attach a new section. He also replaced the old garbage disposal. The job was difficult and he was diligent in working at it until resolved. He was resourceful and pleasant and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Pricing, while not cheap, was fair given the work involved and timely response. We will certainly call upon them again with future plumbing needs. read more

The plumber was very kind and professional and kept me informed of what he was doing or if he needed any feedback before proceeding. I didn't want to go around with haggling on costs that can be easily compared, and Arlington Plumbing didn't hide any extra costs or pump up estimates for "cost of goods". Several companies tried to justify the high estimate due to cost of material, despite having many of the valves and parts already in my possession. I called Bryan at 5:15 a.m. Monday morning for a HW heater valve that would not shut off. My unit was a small wading pool. The emergency shut off dial in my unit was also old and did not work. In the meantime, until this was fixed bldg maintenance shut off the entire building's access to water (400+ units). Bryan arrive before 6 a.m. and id'd immediately the problem. I contacted Arlington Plumbing to fix a non-emergency leaking shower and also replace an old handheld shower head on a Saturday and they responded timely (within the hour) and was able to schedule an estimate the next business day + replace the shower head and then order the necessary internal shower part and fix the leak a couple days after that. The owner and master plumber Limbert who came out was extremely professional, polite, and the work was done efficiently (he also had brand new shoe covers, mask, and when he finished my home was left clean).
