My friend was in Orlando to support a conference at the Dolphin, and she suggested we meet at this lounge in the Boardwalk Inn hotel. As you enter the hotel, the bar is to your right and as you walk down the hallway, you turn to the left by the staircase, and you are there. It's a nice, small bar with additional tables and chairs on the balcony. On the Sunday evening that we went, there was no waitress to take your order. You selected the menu from the bar area and then placed your order with the bartender. We ordered the Askur Gimlet ($19.50) and the Sparkling Hibiscus ($18.50) cocktails. My friend enjoyed her gimlet, and my hibiscus drink was nice, but a little sweet for me. The hibiscus flower in the glass was edible, which was cool to experience. Overall, nice place for a cocktail, but the prices are high and the drinks were not that strong. I know this is a Disney resort and you pay extra for the environment, but I expected a little more for $20+ drinks (with tax and tip) and minimal service. However, it's a quaint spot to stop in for the experience. read more

Belle Vue Lounge is located in Disney's Boardwalk Resort right off the lobby. Honestly if you didn't know it existed you would probably miss it. It is extremely small with a fully stocked bar and about 6 seats at the bar, as well as lounge style chairs around the bar and a few outside with views of the boardwalk. Our first couple of times here, we did not have the best experience. But we have given it a couple more tries, and I have to update my views of it. I still am taking away a star due to its size and that there is no snacks or food to purchase here. It is only drinks and their bar is limited. The first couple of times we came here we did not have the best experience. I felt like we were ignored, and the cast members did not really want to help. However, this time we had a great experience, and I think it is more of how it usually is. When we got here, it was very crowded. There were no seats around the lounge and at the time the bar was full. There are 6 seats at the bar. We were just going to grab a drink to go but as we were in line, there were two ladies leaving from the bar. We decided to sit down. I do think the experience was much better at the bar. We had more of an interaction with the cast member and we were able to reorder a drink very easily. I decided to go for a special drink that Megan, (the bartender) makes. An influencer I follow mentioned to ask for a special drink and only Megan could make it. It was an espresso martini, but it had a raspberry hint. I think it might have been Chambord, both times I kept trying to watch her, but she was so fast! It was absolutely delicious. I feel like I had a similar one at Enchanted Rose at the Grand Floridian, but this had a really nice swirl of chocolate on top. I truly enjoyed this cocktail and ended up getting two. I would recommend, if Megan is there, asking for a Wright Down Main Street. You won't be disappointed. My husband ordered a dirty martini which was good, he felt it could have been "dirtier" but he really enjoyed it. He also ordered a Manhattan which he totally loved. He mentioned it was one of the best that he has had. Overall, I would say this is a nice spot. If you are staying here, its a great place to grab a drink. If I stayed at the Boardwalk, I would probably be there every night. It is very small, not a ton of seats. This is not necessarily the place to go just to have a drink. I wouldn't say make a special trip to the Boardwalk just for Belle Vue. If you are here there, stop by. They have some great cocktails. read more

This hotel bar is located within the Boardwalk Inn. Although my friend and I were not staying at the hotel, we wanted to grab a drink and walked inside. Even on a Friday night, we were able to get a table to ourselves. This being a small hotel bar, it was quiet enough that you could actually have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. Our waitress was friendly and came right over to take our order. I appreciated that she made sure to bring us over waters as well. We ordered a cosmopolitan and a pineapple Moscow mule, both of which tasted great. Although pretty high in terms of price, $17.50 each, the presentation and atmosphere made up for it. It is extremely small with only 6 seats at the bar, and a few lounge style chairs around the bar and outside. It is very cozy space to sit, there are tons of books, so you feel like you are sitting in a library. I am updating my review since the first couple of times we came here we did not have the best experience. However, we have come back a couple additional times and had a much better time. It's not my favorite lounge to visit since you cannot order any snacks or food, but I do really enjoy the coziness. There is a full bar but it is not fully stocked. They have a good assortment but not everything. They have a few specialty cocktails as well. Every time we have come, it has been very crowded. The last time we came here, there was a very large group taking up most of the seating area. We were going to get a drink to go but 2 seats opened at the bar. Again, I think our experience was much better just by sitting at the bar. The bartender Megan, was very chatty and friendly. We were also able to easily reorder drinks as compared to sitting in the lounge area. My wife wanted to try a drink she learned about from a Disney influencer. It is essentially a chocolate martini with an added touch. I guess only the bartender, Megan, knows this drink, so if she is there, I would suggest trying it, it's called "Right down main street". She loved it, it had a nice raspberry hint to it. It was very tasty. I would definitely ask for it, if she is there. I decided to try a dirty martini which was good. It did not have much of the olive juice despite asking for it pretty dirty but it was good, I would order it again. I also ordered a Manhattan which was one of the best I have ever had on Disney. She made it very good! Overall, my view of this spot has definitely changed. This is a very nice cozy spot to come and sit in or outside and see views of the boardwalk. It is much easier if you are staying here. I would not necessarily say make a special stop here but if you are near by, it is for sure worth checking out. Aces! read more

This is a great hidden gem at the Boardwalk Resort! Such great strong drinks, some signature cocktails also. The service was impeccable. It's very casual. Secret tip: open the books on the bookshelves and look inside! Surprise!! Another tip for you - grab food from the Boardwalk and bring it up, you can bring in your own food and order some drinks. There is a tv on the wall playing whatever is on (football game) and lots of comfy seats. One of the best things is during the morning I think they have coffee and pastries and in the evening it's a bar serving alcohol. While much of the Boardwalk area is in decline, the Belle Vue is still one of favorite hangouts away from the crowds. Service is good and provides coffee options in the morning and adult beverage service later in the day. Unfortunately the lounge did not escape the long arm of Disney's decor updates which helped to de-theme some of the classic vibe. Try the "Orange Blossom Manhattan". This is our favorite place to end our day at Epcot. It is located in the lobby of the Boardwalk and has such a nice atmosphere. We love ordering drinks and sitting out on the balcony. So we have been here a few times as a chill spot on our way out from EPCOT. The bartender here is amazing and hardworking. This night he was the only one taking care of the bar, lounge and patio area. Amazing. The lounge area is so cool and laid back. Leather high back chairs that were so comfy. Some really cool old timey antiques all around. Took a recording of an old radio broadcast. Cool. The drinks are well done as well. I had a smoked turkey that had wild turkey 101, red stag black cherry bourbon and hickory smoked garnished with luxardo Cherries. Very nice. This is a great spot to unwind after a day at the Epcot festivals. Even if you are not staying T the boardwalk it is a quick walk to the bus stop back to your hotel. read more

We were staying at the Boardwalk and after walking around the other Epcot resorts, stopped by for a nightcap. My husband ordered an old fashioned. He's drink was terrible. He asked if she could redo it and the bartender said she would have to charge for another one. Usually service is wonderful on property and drinks are amazing, this was neither. We went to the front desk with the full drink and asked for the old fashioned charge be removed from the bill since the drink was undrinkable. The manger made us go back to the bar and wait. He then proceeded to argue that it was not possible the drink was not right. He never tasted it. After more waiting, he finally said the drink was removed off the bill. The other drink and tip was still charged of course. It was a terrible experience to end a wonder week at Disney. read more

I've become pretty familiar with Disney's Boardwalk area over the years - my parents own timeshare at the resort so every few trips or so we would stay at the Villas. It was only the last couple of trips or so I made the trek across the lobby and explored the Inn. Oh my - I can't believe I never explored this resort before. While it has that familiar Boardwalk aesthetic and character, the Inn has its own charm that makes it unique from the Villas. It was familiar and new to me at the same time; slide a magic carpet under me and I probably would have broken out into A Whole New World. One component of the Inn that caught my eye during my explorations was Belle Vue Lounge. Located in the heart of the main level of the Inn, it serves coffee and pastry in the mornings then reopens as a lounge for cocktails in the evenings. It's not the biggest lounge on Disney property, but it has a lot of character with comfy furniture to match the aesthetics of the resort, vintage radio broadcasts being played out of an old radio, and board games available to play and pass the time. Additionally, there's an outdoor patio, but I recommend you stay inside and soak up all the Boardwalk atmosphere. Belle Vue is definitely my favorite lounge on Disney property. It's a great place to have a drink, and the atmosphere transports you to another place and time. Definitely worth checking out. read more

A Relaxing Trip to the Past. Situated in the Boardwalk Resort on top of the Flying Fish Restaurant sits the Belle Vue Lounge. It's tucked away in its own little time capsule which transports you back to the early 1900s. The decor is fantastic with its cozy couches, chairs, and board games ready for you to play. In the morning the bar doubles as buffet table serving a continental style breakfast with juice, coffee, bagels, and muffins. Nothing beats grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting out on the porch watching all the different people milling about. At night it becomes a bar where you can a good stiff drink, talk, play some chess or even backgammon. The service is always friendly and efficient which you come to expect from Disney. I always stop in at least once when we stay at the Boardwalk and I just relax to soak up the experience. If you got time and are not in a rush I highly recommend you pay this lounge a visit. The Belle Vue Lounge brings its guests back to the 1920's. A chill quiet lounge inside the Boardwalk hotel, off the lobby. I did breakfast and had a cheese danish (very good) and a coffee - you order at the counter. I guess they do drinks at night but I didn't come in at that time. Service was friendly; I think you're technically supposed to pay for a coffee refill (they're in to go cups) which isn't the best policy, but maybe if you're honest they'll let it slide. ;-) The atmosphere is great, maybe even better than what it looks like in the photos.
