Surprised as many times as I have been to the area, this is my first time trying this place. Especially since the margarita is typically my go to cocktail. We decided to try the seasonal drink The Poisoned Lime: Patrón Silver Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, Bols Melon Liqueur, Sour Mix, and lime juice with green shimmering glitter garnished with a dehydrated blood orange. The taste was very good! I personally did not care for the black salt as much because it stained your lips and tongue. There wasn't much of a line when I stopped by and it is made to order and not a premixed batch. We decided to take our drink for a stroll as we continued to shop instead but maybe in the future will take advantage of the covered seating around the area and there was a a duo with live music. On future trips I definitely plan to stop by again to try some other options. read more

It was the end of a long day of shopping at Disney Springs and I was in the mood for one last drink. I'd had an amazing experience a few months ago at Margaritaville and I suppose I was hoping for a similar episode here. Not quite. I decided to get the Anejo Select Margarita ("Lunazul Anejo Tequila, Grand Marnier Liqueur, Sweet-and-Sour, and Lime Juice"), and I took it to their small patio to enjoy. It's a decent margarita. All the flavors are there but there was just something missing, that one last component to take it over the top. And the bartender making it, who free poured everything, didn't seem to include enough tequila. I barely got a buzz off that $18.50 beverage, ultimately. This review will be a little different than my typical review. My wife and I have visited D.P. often and have frequently walked past Dockside. It sells Margaritas and other cocktails using counter service in an open air tiki dock setting. The draw is the live entertainment, which is typically an individual playing a guitar and singing. This time, as we walked by, the entertainer was a woman who had an amazing voice singing songs that we enjoy, so we took a high top table along the railing that had a nice view of the water. I ordered a margarita on the rocks for my wife and I had their version of a Long Island Ice Tea. They were both served in a 16 ounce plastic cup that was filled to the top. The mix of alcohol and juice was perfect and it they both were delicious. The drinks were priced at about $15 each and given the free entertainment, the quality of the drinks and the location, this is a very good value. read more

If you are new to the area/visiting - it's located near the water, on the East Side of Disney Springs (all the way to the right) almost directly across from the marketplace shops (between the stage and say Rainforest Cafe) As the name of the place would suggest; Margaritas are a must. They always have a flavor of the month type that I like to try. Also enjoy the live music, especially at night, in the seating area. Turns out she's from Puerto Rico and since the hurricane hit PR and the island has been in a slow recovery, I was curious about her family. She said everyone was fine but that her family has had a time with no power. At least everyone is accounted for. I'm impressed with her positive attitude. Back to the margarita. So I mentioned I ordered the spicy habanero margarita...it was just a plain ole margarita. Still good but not the slightest bit of a kick. I love the jalapeño margaritas in the Mexico pavilion in Epcot, so I'll hold out for my next one there. One of my favorite spots in Disney Springs, and one of the nicest places in Disney property to have a beer or a drink. The prices are, of course, a bit steep, but so its everything in the happiest place on earth. Draft beers go for around 10 dollars, while other alcoholic drinks are on the 14 dollars range. This is a nice little cozy bar by the lake, where you can get a away from the blazing sun for a while. There is usually live music at the end of the day and its a great spot to watch the sunset over a pint of beer. read more

Really more a 3.5 rating, but decided to be MAGICAL, and round way up. I went to Disney Springs on my first day and Disney World and my last day. However, on my final day, I decided to indulge in a margarita on an extremely warm day. They have the maragarita stand relatively close to the entry of the shopping area and it's hard to miss. I opted for a margarita that was overpriced (12.50) but surely hit the spot. The man was nice and made the drink relatively quickly and couldn't complain. I'm a tourist and didn't know any other location to pick one up, it I knew it was overpriced, but everything in Disney is--- so maybe this is the normal price down there. I would recommend since it's quick, near the exit, and the drink was made quickly. Thanks for quenching my thirst on my final day--especially when it was in the mid 90's read more

Alcoholic drinks here are definitely overpriced- they're on par with the prices you'll find inside the Walt Disney world parks. The cost is expected in comparison to the other pricey commodities inside Disney Springs. What IS unexpected, however, is the amount of alcohol they put into a drink. I ordered the sunset margarita and the iced tea, both on the rocks. The iced tea tastes like straight up alcohol. I would recommend the dockside iced tea if you're looking for a stronger drink. They have two windows to order from and even have a sit down bar window on the opposite side. The bartenders make the drinks really well and if you're not a margarita fan they have a small selection of craft beers as well. I ended up getting the Disney Springs Light IPA and my wife got a margarita. This is a great stop over as you make your way to the landing and the west side of Disney Springs. The staff here is top notch. Great mixed drinks and beer selections to choose from. Lots of good local stuff. I highly recommend the OBP. The bad that we have see there the last few times is really good. They cover a wide range of songs in a very cool and laid back kind of way. It was National Margarita Day and of course I wanted to indulge in festivities. After leaving City Walk disappointed (because I was not paying $20 just to park and have margaritas), we decided to go to Disney Springs (previously Downtown DIsney). Of course the area was crowded and bombarded with tourists. We wiggled our way through the madness and stopped at Dockside Margaritas. They were not offering any specials in observance of National Margarita Day, however, the line was pretty lengthy and everyone leaving seemed to be satisfied with their grown up beverage. We decided to grab a few Margaritas which were priced at $12.50 each. OUCH that's a little steep BUT what else would you expect from a Disney establishment. While the service was great, the margarita was a little disappointing. I have had better. Although they appear to get pretty good business, I think the prices should go down a tad considering the outcome. We left and went to Chuy's (see previous review) and after having Chuy's I was even more disappointed in spending $12.50 for one lousy margarita. read more

We are at Disney World on vacation this week to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday (which was last week). The bartender at Dockside Margarita's refused to serve my daughter because "her license was a learners permit". First of all, it is absolutely not a learners permit, it is a regular, valid drivers license. She has been driving legally on her own since she was 17 years old. Secondly, she has been served with no problem at all at Animal Kingdom, Hollywood studios and other restaurants in Disney Springs. The manager of Dockside came over and said "there is nothing I can do". Needless to say, we will not be back and will gladly take our business elsewhere. read more
