Apparently, this is a task that had surmountable conflicts and absolutely could NOT be done. Per Dustin, garlic tots is not a menu item and there can be no substitutions. If you want a ok pizza, hang out with friends, have a beer, and you don't care about improving your bowling game, go for it, perfect place, it has loud music, etc... it feels like a party. However, if you want to improve your game, please look for other alternatives. Unfortunately, I have seen de decline of the quality of the lines in the last years. The food is okay, service is good, bowling is fun I don't think I can comment much on the bowling, it was fun, but my bowling high score was 75... They had bumper bowling for the kids and adults too. They had a blast playing. There are also bowling assisted equipment there. They also have Laser tag, $8 per person, but we didn't try it this time around. The chili was good, the Korean boneless chicken wings were okay, not crunchy enough, and the garlic fries were excellent. The atmosphere was nice not too loud. I really enjoyed my time at Bellevue Bowl! We came in with a group of 4 on a bustling Saturday night and was told that it was a 1-1.5 hour wait time, which was no problem because they had a bar on-site we just hung out at until our name was called. The bowling alley is definitely on the older side which is cool in its own way. The selection of bowling balls felt minimal (probably because it was really busy and they were being used) so that was tough until it started to clear out, then we just grabbed the bowling ball that we needed. The scoring system isn't fancy, but it gets the job done and records accurately. We didn't run into any issues with balls getting stuck or pins not re-racking. The drinks here are super affordable. Large beers $9-10, cocktails under $12, shots under $10. It made me really appreciate how much money I save when visiting the Central Valley Overall, I think for the price, it's well worth it. For an hour its $40, and we were able to fit in a couple of games with our group of 4. That comes out to about $20-30 per person which is good, especially coming from the Bay Area where I'm used to pay double the price for nearly the same experience. read more

Horrible customer service! A warning to y'all with newly purchased bowling balls! We had a group of 16 people on March 25, 2025. My 2 week old $200 bowling ball plus drilling got damaged big time on machines at the end of lane where pins are!! Several of ours balls kept going off track and getting stuck. I went back today March 26, 2025 and talked to Manager Tommy who wouldn't do anything about it and lady who was working with him started laughing at me. When I got frustrated, there "Bouncer" security called cops and lied to them that I was being violent, please! So I decided to leave. They sure know how to make you feel welcome there!! read more

Went back to Bellevue Bowl tonight with a group of friends after having some trouble with our lane and leaving a bit early last visit. Tim was amazing and remembered us from having that issue and comped us a free second game for all of us as an apology. During our games my girlfriend and I went up to order some food and she asked for the loaded tater tot nachos with only the cheese and bacon. Tim again being a great employee and customer service representative charged us for the cheese fries with bacon saving us some cash and they tasted great. My friends and I have always enjoyed going to Bellevue Bowl but today Tim really sealed the deal on why they are the best in the area! read more

Way too hot inside to bowl! Air conditioning is not working. They only have a couple portable fans that do not cool the place down.

We brought our family here to bowl for the second time, hoping for a fun day but once again it was unbearably hot inside. It felt like a sauna, and it made it impossible to relax or enjoy our games. Until the air-conditioning is fixed, we can't recommend coming here. read more

To start the lack of customer service skills really shows. The man at the front was sitting on a stool just hanging on the counter and when I said we'd like to bowl a game he pointed to a girl. Wtf does that mean? It was my 3 kids and myself so naturally they wanted food. The food tasted freezer burned and just plain disgusting and the price should really reflect the fact that all they're doing is throwing something from the bottom of the freezer in a deep fryer. I never write reviews, but what ticked me off wasn't the rudeness of staff, or the pricing, it was the fact that I had called to ask what time they were open and they didn't mention once that a league would be bowling so you'd have to wrap up your game. They don't offer reservations. They expect you to wait until a lane is open if you leave they "give" you an estimated time. Which is like an hour later then you will be called which means you miss your time on the waitlist.the ceiling looks absolutely rachet. Is it even legal to serve liquor without serving food? They closed down the kitchen at 8ish? All the shoes are filthy nasty and disgusting. The insoles are ripping on every pair. Looks like bum shoes. The balls were cracked around the finger holes. Went bowling last night and off the bat Fred one of the staff members already had a nasty attitude. I asked to to move my family that was playing on lane 4 or 5 and asked to pay for another lane so that way we can be together and he gives me a ugly ass face and was like I don't understand wat your trying to do and so here I go trying to explain to him wat I ment and he's rolling his eyes and being so unprofessional and so I had to walk away and let someone else in my family deal with it cuz I don't have time for people like that. Already putting people in a bad mood before even bowling. Not only that but he was also trying to reset my family's game cuz he was saying that we couldn't add people that were playing in the first game to the new lane that we bought like why does it matter who we add on the new one we paid for it to add whoever we want on there I think he was just overwhelmed but it's not okay to treat customers that way like if we're stupid and don't know what we're talking about. Other than him being rude had a decent time. He needs to improve on his attitude if you hate your job that much then maybe this isn't the job for you. read more

Went on Tuesday for 3 games and only got two games despite paying for 3. Then we were charged full price for a happy hour order but thankfully got that fixed. So my advice is pay attention to what the staff charges you and get receipts. Seems like they're unstaffed or not trained well enough. I've been going there for as long as I can remember. Bowled in the youth bowling and as an adult. Helped coach The Bowling Camp that was for four days for the kids. I even had several birthdays there as a child. It's a great place to go to enjoy your self and bring your family. The food was always great and so was the coffee too lol. Just had my 11 year olds birthday party here and he had the best time. The staff was very nice and helpful, the price was great for bowling and laser tag and the pizza was delicious. Everything has been super expensive this year so we were looking for an inexpensive but fun alternative for my kids birthday party. An elder lady cashier who worked on Sunday night 3/1/20 was a bit rude. I came in with my husband, children and other family members. My son who was having a tantrum said he was hungry, but the snack bar was closed. That didn't bother us, so my husband said he would take my son next door to Wendy's. The cashier immediately said "no outside food or drinks are allowed." I immediately responded with, "he didn't say he was going to bring it inside." I mean c'mon! There's a sign that said that before walking into the building. ‍ Anyway, he took my son and left. When the cashier asked how many adults and children were playing, I said there were 6 adults and 2 children playing. The cashier tried correcting me and said "you mean 7 adults?" I said "no, 6 adults." And she said, "Two adults just left the building." I corrected her and said, "no, that's one adult and one child." She responded with "oh yeah!" and just laughed. Then when she asked me what size shoes my kids needed, I said size 9 and 10. And she tried correcting me by saying "you mean both size 10?" And I said "no, size 9 AND 10." I'm like omg what is wrong with this lady? She isn't listening to me and keeps trying to correct me. Came here today for my son's birthday party. Everything was fantastic from beginning to the end!!!! The whole building has been beautifully remodeled and updated. Very nice. The lanes are not oiled at all. Staff were very rude and found hair in our food. The pin setting equipment often malfunctioned. This was fine but we were paying 32 dollars an hour per lane and our balls kept getting jammed. Be aware. read more

So as far as a place for the public to bowl, this place is pretty much worthless. They don't care for regular people coming in, they only care for the bowling league people. If I'm gonna pay 30 bucks to go bowling I expect not to be rushed out for some stupid league that seemingly fills up the entire place every time we want to go bowl. Half the time there's not even music playing it's just dead quiet because music is "distracting" they said. Merced really needs to open up a new one for the people. I'm not sure if they're under new management or just hired new staff but recently the customer service has been quite poor. The new staff or at least new people who at the front desk are rude and unwelcoming. I remember loving this place as a kid because they used to have Rock N' Bowl and other special events and clam chowder to die for, but time has not been kind to this place. I know that the pandemic caused them to lose a lot of business and also prevented them from moving further with renovations, But even as of now when they are re-opened with a new branding they are still not any better. It's nice to see when a place adapts to modern society but this isn't the right town for hipster growth. They would've done a better job keeping this more to it classic roots that reminds people of the nostalgia involved with visiting a bowling alley. I am sure the new chairs are cute and the menu sounds fun but to be eating frozen food that's overpriced just makes more sense to do at home. Maybe once they find their niche they will be able draw in the crowds that used to populate this venue, we will just have to wait and see. read more

Unless you only have one or two in your party, don't mind paying $4.50 per game per person plus the cost of shoes, and can overlook the fact that the old guy behind the counter swears and flings his arms around like an angry bear, I would recommend going to Castle Lanes at the former Air Force base instead. Although this place has more lanes than Castle, I think the price per game at Castle compensates for it. Bellevue Bowl charges different prices dependent upon the time of day and/or the day of the week...okay, that's fine. But, when I can spend $25 for several games at Castle as opposed to $30 for one game at Bellevue...my money (and respect) is going to Castle. As for the issue of customer service, most of the staff at Bellevue are decent...however the old guy behind the main counter needs to either retire or be replaced. I will not spend my money at or take my kids to a place where the person who is your first contact in the establishment carries himself as though he is inconvenienced by your presence. The guy swears under his breath and throws his arms about as if he's having a seizure, especially if you ask him to fix a technical problem with the lane at which you are playing. I personally do not recommend this place to anybody, and I have bowled here more than once, with the same result. I'm tired of bowling at a place where I feel like an inconvenience instead of a paying customer. FYI, for those wanting "cheap and fun", I recommend Castle Lanes instead. They charge $2.50 per game per person (as opposed to $4.50 at Bellevue), free shoe rental ($2.50 per pair at Bellevue) and are just as conveniently located. Granted there are no bumpers for the kids, my kids learned how to bowl without them in the course of one game...not that big a deal. read more

Hey guys. So I've plenty of bowling alleys across several states and this was by far the worst. The place looks low-average. The concessions have nobody working there and the place always looks dead. It didnt look clean either. I would definitely steer clear of it if u don't want to be around angry disrespectful staff. What really ticked me off is that there was a group of us coming from Taco bell(which is right across the street). We were going to go there and bowl. They kicked us out because two of us had a brand new soda from Taco bell. They were being dicks for no reason. I was in the Army for 6 years, i have a no tolerance for those that disrespect me for no reason, trying to scam me out of a few bucks for no reason. I asked him if it was because they sell the same product and want to make extra money out of me and he said "yes". They lost our business and i'm never going back. All because of a $2 soda. All four of us left. We were going to go bowling and everything but we don't support people that try to rob locals. Great business tactic. read more

We were searching for a bowling alley in Merced and discovered that it had closed down. Next option was Bellevue Bowl in Atwater, which was about 15 mins away. This alley is very old school, older score machines, old school seats just very classic. I enjoyed the look of this alley, even though it was dated, it was well maintained. The manager was friendly and accomodating we enjoyed his small talk. We bowled two games and got four pairs of shoes, it came to $58 which is a little less expensive then in NY. The bartender was also very nice and accommodating. I ordered two rounds of drinks, a sex on the beach which was a Friday special $5 drink and bacardi and coke which came to $21 NICE!!! We went in this evening and bowled a few games. We had a pretty good time. The price of two games plus two pairs of shoes was about $26. A little higher than I expected, but since I finally had a day off from work on a Saturday night, it didn't bother me. The service was very fast and friendly. Somebody went in the bathroom and pissed all over the floor. I guess when people have alcohol, their common sense takes a backseat. I haven't been here in a long, long, LONG, time. I used to bowl in leagues here as a kid in the mid 80's. There hasn't been a lot of changes since then either. The scoring system is kinda modernized, and they have bumper bowling available for younger bowlers. Snack bar is ehhh OK, and the lounge is retro 1970's-ish. Pretty good customer service, and deals going on fairly frequently. read more
