The young PT student who assisted us was fantastic. He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, breaking down complex equipment details so they made sense to us. We had to go as we needed new rackets and shuttlecocks for the REC center badminton club we play at. I am very pleased with the selection, the staff knowledge, especially the lady who I think is the owner/manager, as well as their speedy service. We were only here for 3 days and 2 nights so we needed rackets and stringing service asap so it was a rush trying to get our ducks in a row. While the price was steep it is an investment. You don't buy new shoes, bags, or rackets every year if you take good care of your items. Save money, budget wisely, and you will get what you need. Thank you to the people at Pro Racket Sports despite the rush job! My brother and I appreciate it very much and we look forward to making more purchases and/or visiting your store again.

I like checking out pickleball places when traveling and found that Gorin had open play…read more They cap the number of players and you need to pre-register online and for me as a guest, it ended up being close to $25 after fees. This was a little shocking to me since I usually pay around $8 and not to mention it was only for 2.5 hours. But nonetheless I am glad I got was able to check it out. The facility itself looks like it used to be a long warehouse previously; there is a central hall down the middle with courts to the left and workout areas to the right with the bathrooms located at the end of the long hall. But There's also a nice seating area and lobby at the front if you're waiting for someone. As a guest, it would've been nice if there was a receptionist since I had no idea where to go. I pretty much wandered into the first court which luckily was the right place. There was a court monitor which really helps move open play along and different areas per level. While the courts are pretty nice, there is not much room to sit or place to take breaks. However that wasn't a problem for me since I pretty much played back to back games which I found was pretty much the consensus of most players since it was only 2.5 hours. Definitely got in a good workout, played with good people and tried out a new facility which is a win in my book.

At his first tournament win, my son came out and said "mom! I made every shot count until the end and trusted myself!" and said he learned this from Coach Omer. - Coach Lucas has coaches my daughter with techniques that fit her lean physique, and he brings so much fun and positivity to every class. She's definitely not a morning person but she/herself asked us to sign her up BEFORE school just to have a class with Coach Lucas. - Coach Davi has given both of my kids lasting joy for the sport, stronger strategic thinking, gameplay, and the confidence to stand up for themselves during tournaments. My kids look forward to Coach Davi's class every Saturday and never misses the class. It's been an amazing experience at Gorin. These coaches are true mentors who make our kids stronger every day and we've been with these coaches for a few years now. My husband also plays in their adult classes! One request for the facility: On Saturdays (@12:30), my kids do a mini group with Coach Davi and another kid we've been playing with for a long time. We're consistent customers and players on Saturdays. We would love to see this group moved off the Kids Court and onto a full court--these kids are growing and need more space to run. Several moms (which our kids play tennis together) have even said: please let us know right away when Coach Davi has a full-court option--we'd sign up immediately. We have a good group of kids who have been playing together (and similar levels) for a long time now with Coach Davi and want to stay together- but they're growing up and super energized to run more!

We went for summer camp and my kids LOVED it -- it's pretty casual and definitely not as organized as other camp sites where there is a check-in, check-out system. We didn't think our kids would have enough to do for a full day camp here but they didn't mind it at all. Appreciate no strict rules and made for an easy atmosphere to play. We did ask for their Tax ID for tax purposes and they kinda put up a front about providing it (all other summer camps have it printed on their receipts). My little loved it so much that we signed up for classes. Appreciate the fact that everything is included and that you don't have to go out and buy your own racquets, equipment, etc. Wished that the classes came with a voucher or two for free play or something though so that she can practice. We arrived mid-day on a Saturday, only to find that there were no staff present and the rental shop was completely closed. The entire gym was packed full of players and not a single employee. We checked around the entire facility, including staff areas, and even asked some regulars if they had seen anyone working--only to be told, "We've never anyone here on weekends." Without the ability to rent the gear we needed, we couldn't play at all. Our reservation--and our time--was completely wasted. If rental services and staff aren't available on weekends, that should be made very clear during the booking process. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

I'm on a long waiting list, but able to use the outstanding facilities during this period. Did a men's night and was able to get some court time. Turns out I had a mild cardiac event (due to severe dehydration and massive electrolyte imbalance from an extended food poisoning situation) during that evening, and was stupid enough to push through it and not pass out. This translated into bizarre, sluggish play, compromised judgement, and some impairment with coordination and reaction time. I couldn't even keep score for more than a few points, forgot what side I was on, etc. The guys were totally supportive, and accommodating, giving me a ton of time between points. They had no idea anything was wrong other than a comment I made in jest about my heart racing. Anyhow, seeing the facility from the inside - the decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean, HUGE, and comfortable. Not to mention very convenient to get to, with tons of parking, and proper spacing between courts, proper lighting, and proper heating. Even the WiFi here was outstanding. =)

I needed two rackets strung and I called Tennis Center Sand Point for a quote. I talked to the receptionist and she said she'll transfer me to the Pro Shop. I waited on the phone and I was left with a voice message saying the voicemail inbox was full. Ok, no problem, I called again and same receptionist picked up. I was then transferred again, and someone picked up...from the Tennis Center cafe. Er, what? I called a third time and was finally transferred to the Pro shop. I asked them for their prices and it was a bit steep in the price (which by all means is fine - I'm not arguing against their policy.) I wanted to ask another question and thanked them for the quote, and in the middle of my sentence, the guy in the Pro Shop, with the most monotone and rude voice, interrupted me and just said: "Have a nice day" and hung up on me. The nerve. Customer service just flew out the door. This interaction itself single-handedly made my decision to NOT go to Sand Point to get my rackets strung. Sand Point, you just lost a potential customer. And from all the 1-star reviews, this is not an isolated incident. From the rudeness to overall incompetency, I will be looking elsewhere to get my tennis needs met.
