I am a testament to this. I've been seeing Lara for three years and her work is always flawless, but I became aware of her next-level skills when I lost my hair to chemotherapy. During that time, Lara's kindness and positivity meant everything, but her work in gently restoring my hair was nothing short of amazing. She is great at communicating and asking what I wanted. How's this length? Where do you part your hair? How do you want your bangs? At the end of it, I walked out with a lovely haircut and like my self confidence was recharged. The value was unbeatable-- $35 for a shampoo and cut. Victoria recommended a second treatment despite knowing the first had no effect on my hair. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend the salon, and I especially do not recommend working with Victoria. The owner, Eric, speaks very highly of this smoothing treatment, but as an experienced professional, he should be transparent that it does not work for every hair type. Although he frequently attends hair shows, he does not appear to stay current on which treatments are effective for his clients. When I showed him the results and explained the issue, he had nothing to offer in response. Meanwhile, Victoria's Instagram highlights results that do not reflect what this treatment can realistically achieve--misleading at best. Ultimately, I had to travel to Los Angeles, where my stylist of 20 years performed the Yuko treatment. The product has no offensive smell, and most importantly, it works. My hair has been perfect since 10/4/25. I truly wish I had gone there from the start.
