I like the setting, it feels like a high end department store and everything is partitioned just right. I receive both massage and men's haircuts regularly with Blanca, Allyn and Diana. I think the quality of service and the attitude of the employees makes this place worth going to on a regular basis. You become a regular and everyone takes the time to get to know you whether you have appointments with them or not. I think it could use some improvement when it comes to beverages and creating more of a spa feel but the services I schedule are always top notch. I have heard the staff have been there for a long time and you can really tell based on the number of hugs and kisses other customers have with so many different people. I have never had a manicure but I am thinking of trying the men's sport manicure just to check it out. The owner/manager is really friendly and has provided me with a lot of products to test. I am definitely going back to buy the bumble and bumble full potential kit. My hair feels amazing now. If you are looking for a solid salon and spa, checkout bellezza. I just think your experience is really dependent on who you have a service with. The move to the new and "better" location took months. The new location is horrible. No place to park. Have to walk and pay for a meter. The nail area is dark and dank. Lighting is horrible. The pedicure area experience is the absolute worse in all of South Miami. You basically sit on a glorified shelf that you have to scale in order to sit down on. Nail polish is old and outdated. Paid extra for shellac service on Sunday, nail chipped Wednesday on a manicure supposed to last 2 weeks. Nail technicians loud talking on a Sunday morning. High staff turnover. My nail tech was wonderful and she is not the issue. The owner is cheap, wants to charge high prices for less than average amenities. No hot towel for mani or pedi. Front desk attitude problem arguing with me on what services I booked. Most of the hairdressers have left and moved to other South Miami salons. Owner still doesn't wake up to address her management style problems. read more

This is a great place to get pampered, a bit pricey but worth it. I got a wonderful and thorough cleaning of my cuticles, nails polished and they used a wonderful scrub and finished with shea butter cream. I did not felt rush, the nail tech took her time to listen to my concerns and help me decide on a great color combo. I was looking for a luxurious spa experience. I used the $6 valet and checked in on time. I had made reservations for a Swedish massage, facial, wax, mani and pedi. They weren't quite ready for me and told me it would be a few minutes. I wasn't directed where to wait. I sat and waited in the adjacent room at a hair dryer station. I was expecting a waiting room with comfortable seating and lighting (you know relaxing spa type). The massage was excellent. Zero complaints. Next was facial, again, excellent. I finished and the nail technician was not ready for me so more awkward random chair waiting. My manicure was nice but the technician spoke limited English. Not that I'm a talker (I was there for relaxation) but I dislike having to apologize over and over for not understanding. I had to wait at the nail dryer until the pedicure was ready to start. The pedicure was nice but the chairs were too close to one another and I even had a woman plop her purse on to my arm which was on my arm rest. Bright fluorescent type lighting in pedicure room. When all finished, I went to pay and was told cash only tip. I'm not sure if this is a customary Miami thing or what but I wasn't prepared with cash to tip on over $300 worth of services. I'd have appreciated advance notice. Overall, the individual services were very good but the spa experience did not meet my expectations. It seemed more like a place you go to catch up with your friends on a weekend and your friends work at the spa. I wouldn't know what to do if I ever left Miami or if Paul or Ailene ever left Bellezza. I was introduced to this spa about 9 years ago by an aunt and have gone here since. Paul does my hair and he does it good. Every time I leave there after a haircut and blow dry, I walk out ready for a Vogue shoot, at least my hair does. The place is a bit on the pricey end, but well worth it. Oh wait, lest I forget, ladies for a mani-pedi, I use Ailene and she rocks. She's slower than everyone else there so you need time, takes her time, does a great job, has a sweet smile, and doesn't speak much English, which was a minor issue for us in the beginning but, we've come up with ways of learning each other.. I recently moved here and while getting settled from the cross-country move I kinda let my hair go to the wayside...Finally I found a place to check out. I'm glad I did because the moment I walked in there it was like my inner-girly-girl let out a big sigh. It was so nice and clean and had this happy vibe. They sell all of the top products and they have a cute boutique-y feel as well. It's a full service salon but all of the areas are independent of one another, so you still have a classy atmosphere. I requested Jeannie because of a previous review. I am naturally blonde and so moving to Miami made me nervous about finding a hair stylist that knows how to work with fine, long, blonde hair. She knew exactly what to do right away. Though I held off on the color so I could feel her out at first, she knew exactly how to cut my hair and treat it. Bellezza has become one of my favorite full service salons. I first came here on a Gilt coupon for a massage, which was simply wonderful. The masseuse knew exactly what she was doing and relieved all stress in my body. While a tiny bit noisy outside, it was nothing to cause distractions. Furthermore, I am now in here for their best pedicure, the paraffin pedicure, due to a recommendation by my boss. I can honestly say it's the best I've ever had! It comes at a pricey $65, but Bellezza sent me a $20 gift card for being a first time customer. Oh, and the biggest factor: they're soooo clean and they sanitize! The salon itself is very nice, with a nice boutique. However...parking is a problem even with Valet. As a first time guest, Iexpected to be greeted and given a tour. I wasn't aware of all the services that they offered. If Ihad known, I would have scheduled more for myself and daughter. The stylist were nice, but the two things that stood out the most was how overpriced "some" of the services are. There are many high end salons is Coral Gables and in South Miami where most touch up root color is $45. Bellezza charges $65, then expect you to add 20% gratuity to that. Also, the hair washing station is bright, almost like a cafeteria and they washed my hair in a rush! The conditioner was plopped on the top of my head and dragged to the ends and rinsed. No scalp massage or personal care to the client. For what I paid, it should have been better. I've experienced a lot better. Sorry, I won't be going there again. read more

So I bought a GILT deal for a facial. I get facials once a month. I just moved to the area so I said let's give it a try. On the day of my appointment I went to the spa first of all Parking is ONLY valet. I parked my car in front and the guy tells me it's valet only. Which i'm fine with me being from LA is very common over there. I go in I get SEMI greeted from a front desk girl. Asked me to e-mail her the gilt deal to her e-mail. Which I did. Did not say sit down or please wait. Had me waiting while I was confused. Then the esthetician comes out she says hello and whisks me off to the room. She leaves for a min for me to get in the bed take off my shirt etc. She knocks to come in, as my first time there she did not check my skin or asked me if I had any problems with my skin. As soon as she sat down she started "cleansing" my face. She was not rude but not friendly just quiet which is totally fine. I like it like that anyway. But being my first time I would of liked her to check my skin analyze it etc. The facial was supposed to be 75 min. It ended up being only 60 min. The facial was BAD! I could of done a better job at my house! I tipped her as of courtesy but she totally did not deserve it for the service I got. A week later I got a gift certificate for $20 dlls in the mail that I can use towards a service or products for being a new client. Which why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. However I would not be returning back nor will I be using the gist certificate. Just an overall bad experience. Im not sure is it because I used GILT or that's how things work there. read more

I would never come back here again. I came mainly to have a hair treatment, which costs $45. I agreed to do it, and then was advised that I should have my hair trimmed. I asked for the price, but was not informed. I thought trimming my hair would be an easy and cheap service. I ended up having to pay $55, which is more than the hair treatment I initially sought after. I was, and still am, very mad. They trimmed the split ends of my hair, cutting only one millimeter or two. My hairstyle was not altered. How could they charge 55 dollars for such a service? read more

Love Bellezza, but I haven't figured out why anyone would go to anyone other than Stanley.... He is incredibly talented in both cut and color. While my hair is short, and fine, I've watched him cut long, curly locks, men's, childrens, afros, and just about any style you can imagine. Plus, you get the expertise without the pouty Diva attitude that can come from truly great stylists. My haircuts never grow out, as he treats every design as an architect or engineer would, masterfully crafting so it grows into something else. AH-MAZING! Honestly, he saves me tons of money because I used to fly back to California to get my hair done because I couldn't find anyone who could do my hair in Miami -- blonde, not various shades of orange or white.... Positive: I was very pleased by the attention I received from both Sean and Charissa when I called to set up my appt. Customer Service over the phone is a big indicator of the professionalism of a business. Blanca was an exceptional esthetician and allowed me to fully relax (and even fall asleep) during my facial because she respected the importance of silence. It was much appreciated. The extraction was the gentlest I have ever received in all the years I've gotten facials. She even provided me with a few sample product packets upon leaving. Not so positive: Check-in provides the customer with a "first impression" and can set the tone for the appointment. Another esthetician greeted me before I got to the front desk, informed me that my esthetician would be out shortly, pointed to an area where I could sit and told me there was coffee and water available, however, there were no mugs or glasses. I expected a quiet waiting room, but I was in a hair salon area. I only learned later that the mugs and glasses were located in a drawer underneath the coffee & water, which would have been helpful to a first-time customer. Recommend a formal check-in, in order to ask the customer if this is her/his first visit, guide them to a quiet seating area and offer the customer a beverage. Negative: Parking was problematic. Although, Belleza is located in a small shopping center with many available parking spaces, they seemed to all be "assigned" to other businesses. Recommend informing a customer about the parking situation when they call to make the appointment as it may be a deterrent for them to return as a regular customer. Overall, my treatment with Blanca was excellent, but I would recommend Belleza provide a more inviting spa-like experience. read more

The only reason why I am not giving this place more stars is because I feel that she over charged me for a haircut she supposedly gave me, that I believe to be more of a trim to my ends without discussing prices with me ahead of time. Let me clear, I was not expecting anything for free when she mentioned i needed a trim and she would be willing to give me one if her schedule allowed it but when you tell me your going to clean up my ends and then turn around and charge me $55 for a full haircut without a blow out was needless to say unexpected, and what would have been an excellent salon experience turned to feeling taken advantage of. I feel she over charged me; first, because maybe she doesn't make money off voucher clients and secondly, because during our conversation i mentioned I may be moving back to my home town, that nay not have signaled returning client to her but which ever her reason was, it was not nice. Note: If you go in there with a gilt voucher, ask prices before they sell you on haircuts that are only 5 min. trims without blow out. I am used to paying 55 when there is a blow out included. I've been going for a little over two months now and it's been great. I have only tried a men's cut and deep tissue massage but the stylists and therapist I had are both really good. Checkout Allyn and Humberto for a men's cut. And Blanca if you're in need for a strong massage. I injured myself at work recently and I find this has relieved a lot of mid back pain. My girl friend turned me onto this place after I had a few bad haircuts. I have to say it's nice to feel confident in your stylist. Had a facial and microdermabrasion w/ Theresa. She seemed to be knowledgeable however she was extremely rough. I have been to 'spa's' that treat you in a relaxing, comfortable way and this was not. The pads she used on my face to wipe away the treatments were rough and every cloth (hand towel, wash cloth) she put to my face was roughly wiped away. By the end of the treatment my face so was so sensitive I wanted to run out of the spa. Even her application of sunscreen at the end was slapped of my face. You would think a "spa" would have more elegance and attention to details like this and they do not. I have a hair apt next week.,. Well located, friendly staff but the prices are exorbitant. Maybe it was my fault to choose a 'european/caucasian' salon for a keratin express blowout. It is priced at $150 upwards. I was charged $300 and because I am used to having keratin treatments, my hair was actually quite soft, short. At the very least, the receptionist should have told me they would be doubling the cost before they touched my hair. read more

TERRIBLE! Like many of the reviewers I had heard nice things about this place, so when I saw there was a promotion on GILT I decided to buy it and try it out. BIG MISTAKE I think the girl that helped me is called Diana, but im not 100% sure - I think she is the youngest of the stylist. I asked her for partial highlights and that I wanted a NATURAL LOOK,. I wanted the highlights to help difuse the bit of brassiness from the tips of my hair ( Im a natural blonde and dont dye my hair, only do highlights once in a while) Making this extremely long story short, after my hair is washed and is getting ready to be blow-dried I see PALE YELLOW STREAKS going down my hair. It was the most hideous thing Ive seen. I looked in the mirror and had to walk out of the salon. I told her the highlights were not what we talked about and that at this point it was too late to fix it because I had to go to a dinner. I kept looking and looking at the hair and I just couldnt take how ugly it looked. I called the salon again and asked them to please fit me in the next day because I didnt like my hair. The appointment was made for 10 am the next day. 9:50 am and I am already in the salon waiting to do my hair... to my surprise they scheduled me with THE SAME girl that gave me the horrible highlights... ok, no problem.... except not only is she already late but she walks in with TERRIBLE attitude. Instead of asking what I dont like and how can we move forward and fix it, she decides to ARGUE with me to the point of asking me " ARE YOU A HAIRSTYLIST?" - No, I am not and I can tell you this is horrible. It has been the WORST customer experience Ive ever had. AND IT DOESNT END THERE! After I tried telling her why I didnt like it she CONTINUED arguing and raising her voice. To the point of yelling! I walked away from here to the front desk just so they could find someone else to fix my hair....
