They are extremely RUDE rude customer service the owner extremely rude and the workers there are not helpful at all not professional not even the owner I even tipped a few hundred before picking up my dress and they were still RUDE and didn't make me happy as a bride. They didn't have my dress ready for my wedding when I was explaining to them how my sleeve kept falling and wasn't even the owner was very RUDE instead of making me happy. On my wedding day I was uncomfortable in front of 100s of people with THE SLEEVE ON MY DRESS KEPT FALLING DOWN AND I HEAD TO PULL IT UP. The service here was terrible. I walked in preparing to buy a dress for my special day & Julie seemed pissed to see me. I was put in a room by myself and asked to undress in front of the woman at the store by myself SO UNCOMFORTABLE!! When I gave feedback about what dresses I liked and didn't like she didn't listen either. I ended the session early because the experience made me so sad and uncomfortable. Belissima was the first salon I visited when searching for my wedding dress, and I was so glad I chose it as my first! The ladies within the store were extremely knowledgeable about the fit of dresses that complemented my body type. They were generous when allowing my crew to search through dresses themselves and while I was trying on dresses they continued to bring in options that were geared toward when I was finding I liked. Unlike a lot of other shops I visited, they had a very large selection of dresses within my budget ($1500-$2000). The only downfall was their "viewing room" is a bit small, so I'd there are any other brides during your appointment, it can get a bit overwhelming. This was the third bridal salon I came to to find my dream dress within budget. I had high expectations for what I would get for my budget of 3,000 in terms of quality and look. It needed to be absolutely perfect. Because I had tried on dresses from low prices to 6k, I wanted a dress that felt like it would cost the 6k price but for 3k. I found it here. I found a beautiful Maggie Sottero dress to wear on my big day. The owner Julie helped during my appointment and was patient with me as we tried on dress after dress for me to find exactly what I wanted. As soon as I saw the dress I purchased on, I ordered it. It was lower than my initial budget, which gave me room to order the sleeves and matching veil. It took me up to my exact budget. It took 7 months to come in. It fit when it came it and I was promised that it can be altered within 2 sizes. My wedding is not until 2025 so I was a little nervous about maintaining my current weight. Although I did not end up purchasing my dress from Bellissima, I thought it was necessary to still give them a five star review. Kory was our salon specialist and she was so sweet, understanding and patient. We spent almost two hours at Bellissima and she was so positive throughout the entire appointment. I explained to them what I wanted, and they hand picked dresses for me to try on. Bellissima made it so easy to find my dress. I said "yes" to the dress and did not have to go anywhere else. Mind you i visited two different times, and when i got the dress (6.5 months later) it was a different color. This was my first time trying on dresses and I didn't know what to expect. Nancy made me and my small entourage (due to COVID protocols) feel comfortable and really listened to what my vision was, pulling dresses that aligned with what I truly wanted and helping me narrow down my options. They (she and another store employee who assisted) were patient and kind as we made video calls and took pictures (which they encouraged!) for loved ones who would have been at the appointment if not for the COVID protocols. Julie N, Bellissima Bridal Salon Stated the Following "It is always unfortunate when a bride no longer loves a dress that they had previously chosen. In this particular case, the bride was shown the original order form with all the correct information present. She was also shown the color swatch from that company that matched her requested color to her dress. Still unsatisfied with her previous choice, Bellissima made all efforts possible to resolve the situation with the bride. The safety of our employees and customers is of the utmost importance. During an in-person interaction with the bride and a male companion, a threat was made to a Bellissima employee. We take all threats seriously, and the police department was notified when the bride and her male companion returned to the store. The police responded quickly, professionally, and calmly. We always strive to make the buying experience enjoyable. We want to wish the bride the best of luck on her wedding and marriage." My response to this pathetic excuse that Bellissima Bridal Salon wrote above: My friend ordered her dress from them and it came in the wrong color! They didn't let her exchange or return, they didn't even offer her a discount ! She had to leave with the wrong dress because the owner had a cop waiting when she had the appointment to discus the wrong dress ! This is one month before her wedding...The bride loved her wedding dress, she wouldn't have been willing to even accept a discount on the wrong color if she didn't love it, Stop making up excuses for your poor behavior! Second the male figure was her fiancé and you know this, stop referring to him as "this scary male figure"! Second, you were supposed to meet her first at 2pm and then changed it last minute to 5pm and then you don't show up until 6:30pm (apparently because of an emergency). Did you think they will show up all smiles? He said to your employee that he is not leaving until he speaks to you ( since the appointment was with you, the owner), you were trying to avoid an in person meeting to discus the issue at all cost! The cop was just a tactic you used to keep the conversation short. Unfortunate ! Shame on you ! I had an INCREDIBLE experience at Bellissima. I came with 7 other ladies and they were so respectful to all of us. The viewing room was very comfy and roomy. All the staff there was so helpful nice...Nancy was absolutely exceptional! My entourage picked dresses for me to try on, and then Nancy pulled some too. I ended up saying, "yes" to the dress she pulled for me, after seeing my style. It was the dream dress I never knew I wanted and I definitely had the "bridal moment." I never felt pressured into buying a dress, like I have at other places. In fact, I returned a few days later to purchase it! I also loved hearing that they help out with Tim Tebow's Night to Shine, as my sister is special needs and I am a special ed teacher...it was meant to be that I got my dress from here. We purchased my daughter's wedding dress here and were extremely pleased with our experience. It's a fairly small shop, but has a ton of dresses. I had a list of several potential places we could visit, but made an appointment at Bellissima first because they carried brands with styling my daughter had researched and loved. She is very petite, so knew she wanted a dress that she could wear, as opposed to having the dress wear her. I found their prices to be low-medium to high-medium. For what you get, I thought they were quite reasonable. When you have your first appointment here, they ask when your wedding is, what your budget is and what style(s) you're interested in. They then show you quite a few dresses on hangers to see your reaction, narrowing things down by finding out what you don't want. This seems essential because there are so many dresses that the choices would otherwise be just overwhelming. And it takes quite a while to get in and out of each dress, so why waste your time with dresses that aren't going to work for you? The ladies who work here were very kind and patient. After going through this process, eventually you have about 10 dresses in "your" style(s) to try and they bundle you into a fitting room to get you started. Once in a dress, you come out into a mirrored room to stand on an elevated platform and see how you look from all angles -- and so your retinue can see what you look like, too. My daughter ended up getting the very first dress she tried on, although, of course, she tried on quite a few others, too. She just kept coming back to that first one, although the others were also beautiful. I was amazed when she told me "this is the one," as she's not normally someone who makes decisions quickly. She said she just knew. Of course you need to be sure, since you are paying for the whole thing up front, but she didn't waver. We ordered the dress, along with a veil, and it came in right on time. There were then three fittings, a couple of weeks apart. The alterations lady took extreme care that the necessary things were altered well and properly. At her suggestion, we met the bridesmaids at the final fitting so she could teach them how to lace the [corset style] dress up and how to bustle it for the reception. I picked up the dress myself, all steamed and ready, three days before the wedding and delivered it to my daughter. The gave me specific instructions on how to open the bag, pull out and smooth the train so it wouldn't wrinkle, etc. They took care of every last detail. At the wedding, many people remarked how beautiful the bride looked and mentioned how much they loved her gorgeous dress! To say we were pleased is a vast understatement. Definitely it was a 5 star experience. These ladies know exactly what they're doing and are very, very good at it. I would highly recommend Bellissima! read more

I have been to this place twice. This is a good size bridal shop located in downtown Rochester. Plenty of parking around the area (metered parking or 2 hour free parking lot located behind the store). During my first visit there, I was amazed on its great selection of bridal gowns they have in stock..they have a lot of Maggie Sottero and Stella York. They keep every gown inside of plastic bag to keep it clean/ in good condition. The first person who was helping me was efficient but not really friendly......the customer service was not the greatest here.......It was taking longer than most other places I have visited because the person who was helping me had to put the dress back every time i tried on a different dress..so most of time, she just left me hanging while she put the dress away So during my first visit, I went by myself because I want to eliminate some dresses before I showed couple of my favorites to my friends.. Second time, i went with my friends..a different person was helping me...the service was HORRIBLE! Honestly, if the service was not that horrible I would have bought the dress from them...However, the service was horrible enough for me to refuse to buy a dress from them... Reasons listed below: -When I made the appointment, the lady told me it is okay to be late for 15 minutes since 4 PM was the latest appointment they had available on that day and I called them when i knew that i would be slightly late on the day of..When i arrived the store, the lady who was helping me was RUSHING me..and was really rude to me...I still wanted to check out other dresses to make sure I am not missing out..then she said " we don't have time to check out other dresses..because you were 15 minutes late..and we have other customers coming in later"....the whole time, she was rushing me and blaming me for being late...and telling me that I already have a lot of dresses to try on..and I should not checked out other dresses...not just me, my friends were telling me the next day that the lady was really rude....If i am spending alot of money on my WEDDING GOWN...I think I deserved to take some of my time to check out other dresses...they had two stages ad two dressing rooms...I was not sure what was the reason that she was rushing me because there was only one person who showed up at 5 pm after me....the whole time, I felt I was under pressure to try on each dress fast and I was NOT ALLOWED to spend extra time to look for other dresses...the person was not smiling at all...the whole shopping dress experience was pretty bad.. To me or other brides, if you want to find "the dress" on your wedding, you want to buy from someone who is patient and give you the time to check out different dresses..rather than to buy from someone who does not respect you read more

I had a horrible experience here. When I went into the salon I told the owner who I had my apt with what I was looking for. I wanted an A-line silhouette. She picked one A-line dress for me to try on. The rest were extremely from fitting to my body which I did not want! The more I told her I wanted something with a higher waist that was A-line the more she brought back tight, form fitting dresses. I didn't feel like she was listening to me and I was almost in tears because I hated everything she put me in. It seemed like she was giving me dresses she liked and didn't take my wants into consideration. Another thing that bothered me was that she wasn't even in the fitting room dressing me or on the stage waiting to see what I thought of the dresses. I had to peak my head out of the fitting room to find her and tell her what I wanted. The young girl in the fitting room helping me dress was really sweet but she does not have experience with bridal gowns and didn't know how to help me. Another thing that bothered me was that my aunt who was with me really wanted me to try something on with straps. She asked to see me in straps several times because all of the dresses she was pulling were strapless. Finally, the owner came into the dressing room and said "who is this woman who wants you in straps so bad?" And I said "it's my aunt. My grandmother recently passed away and she wanted me to wear a gown with straps." Then, she rolled her eyes and said "yeah, well she needs to get over that." I was speechless! Then, she left and told the young girl in the dressing room that she was leaving. Didn't even think to tell me that she would be leaving in the middle of my appointment and that the other owner would be helping me. Then, when the other owner showed up she didn't even introduce herself to me or say that she would be helping me now. What should have been a fun afternoon that I was looking forward to ended up being a horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. read more
