The upside is that the shop has gel color that matches regular nail polish colors so one's manicure and pedicure can match. That's a major plus. The shop also does brows. That's great for this area. Janet has a nice looking shop but two ill behaved dogs that tear up magazines, jump on customers with wet nails, and escape from the shop to have other people have to come out and chase them down. On my last visit I actually had to help wrangle a dog in the street with wet toes while the owner did nothing. I got my gel mani redone today again and again she filed down my nails again, ruining their length when I ask her not too. The gel is messily done and looks like plain nail polish. She was hasty, not paying attention and my nails look like I did them at home. I am so disappointed with the job she did. I wanted to support a local business but from now on will go back to either Nefertiti Nails or NGL. The Upper Valley doesn't have many options but this just isn't a good choice.

I think extending one grace cancel to loyal/repeat customers is more than appropriate. It's also just a dumb business practice - I now won't be back, meaning they are now forfeiting thousands of dollars in business from me. Seems silly.

I'm leaving for vacation next week and now I can't get my hair done. To say this was an extremely disappointing experience is an understatement. Honestly, who does something like this via text? We visited a couple of weeks ago for pedicures. It was a really stressful experience. My wife's…read morenail specialist, Ashley, ended 20 minutes earlier than the time we paid for. Ashley did not ask my wife if she wanted any nail polish even though we paid for it in the package. Ashley left the room and told my wife to just enjoy the massage chair. Ashley totally disappeared. While my pedicure was getting finished, I was already feeling anxious because I noticed Ashley left twenty minutes early, she came back and asked in front of everyone how we were paying and how much of a tip we wanted to leave her. I was so uncomfortable. After I paid, while still getting my pedicure mind you, she just disappeared again.
