Received a custom order company product from my Employer that used this business and was very…read more(very) disappointed in the quality of the embroidery. If he is doing his own digitizing he needs to reconsider and outsource it or invest in some quality fonts ( the G and C look the same). The left chest logo has no underlay stitching and he used the absolute cheapest stabilizer (tearaway) on something that is worn - so there is nothing to support the "sketchy font" and its not gonna hold up.

This is MrSeams' first physical store and it's located at 74 Parsons Ave. Super friendly here and it's located Inside the Herbert Hoover Gallery where there are several businesses (kind of similar to an urban salon lofts). Use the main door with Cap City Tattoo logo on it as it's the main door to access the various shops and businesses. Go forward once you enter and walk past reception and go straight back. MrSeams is on the right. They offer custom design and embroidery in addition to stock on hand. MrSeams also offers corporate embroidery services too. The shop has a selection of custom bags, hats, masks, patches, ties, and towels. The price point is good with a hat around $30 and patches around $8. They also use quality materials and American Made products. A lot of horror, sci-fi, geeky, LGBTQIA, and humor specialty items. They have had an online presence for a couple years and still have the online shop but it is great to see the designs and items in person. It's connected to the White Castle building, snuggled right near the entrance to the apartments, Penzone, and Orange Theory. They sometimes have mannequins out front to call attention to it but it can be hard to miss. Once inside the staff is incredibly friendly, always providing help and suggestions when needed. The aesthetic of the store is pretty much black and white. I've never seen a lot of color here and when I do, it tends to be more neutral tones. The clothing can be fun and unique or even classy depending on what you're looking for. I will add that it's not very size inclusive. As a size 6 I was having a hard time finding something that was true to size. Overall, it fits nicely in the Short North and prices compare to the other boutiques in the area. It might be my new favorite local clothing spot. I was delighted to stumble upon this woman-owned small business this past weekend (how did I not know about this?!). A perfect stylistic representation of the store itself and the perfect model to display looks that I assume she is choosing/buying herself! I ended up with a super cute black and white denim skirt covered in crescent moons, and two amazing pairs of retro jeans. Epic 90's beige cargo jeans-- totally utilitarian raver badassery-- and black boyfriend-cut also super 90's jeans that somehow make my legs look super long. I seriously can't wait to wear them everything I bought! I pretty much liked everything I tried on and I got my top 3 faves.
