Best Price Appliance Repair sent a technician named Arthur to my house. He determined that the oven had a loose gas valve which was making a lot of noise and giving me wildly fluctuating temperature readings during cooking. I thought the thermostat was broken, and I couldn't figure out why the oven was making rattling noises during cooking. Fortunately, Arthur was able to fix my oven on the spot, and I was able to use the oven this weekend without any issues. If you need to hire someone for this kind of work, I recommend these guys. They saved me a lot of money.

When I called Best Price, someone answered immediately and their fee to come out was more reasonable than some of the other places I reached out to. The reason for my rating is that it appears the technician that came to my home could have been more thorough. When he arrived, I explained the situation and he also noted that he smelled the scent that is concerning me. He spent some time reviewing the back of the fridge and he concluded there was nothing noticeably wrong and recommended I unplug it and deep clean it again to help air out the smell. He believes this fridge is nearing its end (I've had it for around six years). I paid and that was that. The problem is that when I emptied out the fridge, specifically the freezer, I saw black dust or streaks (not noticed the last I deep cleaned). A quick Google search and a family friend who is a handyman shared that it may be an electrical issue. All this to say, I paid for a diagnostic service that didn't provide a clear answer (especially since it's not normal to fridges to smell like something is burning) because it appears the technician could have been more thorough to explain any additional options or review components inside the fridge. Now I have to go out and buy a new fridge to avoid a potential fire hazard.

I asked my wife if she noticed it before and she said she did and just tucked it back into the gasket without telling me. Unfortunately, that wire keeps water from leaking out of the washer and stuffing it back in is not a solution. Myrna at Gardena Appliances had been so helpful during our crisis when our built in oven died and gave us advice to save money, I decided to give her a call to see what they could do. GA was the only company that gave me a price for the entire job (as long as nothing extra was required) instead of giving me the price for just coming out and saying they would credit that to the complete job. Props to GA for that. All the other companies Yelp referred only revealed service call prices. How do you compare one mystery with another? Didn't need to worry about that with GA. Myrna and Jose were able to come out the same day and when she learned that I was the one who had left a complimentary Yelp review for her previous assistance, her face lit up and really appreciated the review. I'm so happy we were finally able to do business. They took care of the problem in no time flat and for an extremely reasonable price. I look forward to calling them first if we have appliance problems in the future that aren't covered under warranty. They take pride in their work and serving the community in the South Bay.     Hard to find reliable and trustworthy trade type businesses these days, but this is a good one…read more I was referred to Donavan by Toshiba customer service which made me feel good knowing he was a preferred provider. His schedule is busy, especially in the summer time, but he came and did the job. He mostly works on appliances such as stoves, washers, dryers and refrigerators but a mobile AC unit like Toshiba is similar to a refrigerator cooling system so he was able to do this work as well. He took the unit apart and checked everything and showed me everything. One of my hoses was slit at the base causing water to leak so he cut it and reattached it. It needed to be drained which was easy as well. Thankfully no mold build up etc. I've had these since 2020 and used them intermittently so the mileage on them was low and maintenance was minimal despite NOT having maintained these annually. He showed me how to remove the water and was in and out in an hour after thoroughly checking the unit. Not cheap but similar to annual heating function testing etc. He was on time, efficient, effective, taught me something and operated with integrity. I normally would vet a few options and choose one but since he came recommended by Toshiba I went with him and glad I did. Highly recommend him for mobile AC unit maintenance. Can't speak on all else but I did ask how long he's been in the game and he said 14 yrs so to me that's good enough practice to be a pro. Thank you Donavan! Hopefully I won't need to contact you again anytime soon! But if I do now I know who to call.

My call for help went out, and a response was quickly returned . He asked about the stove, the problem, and gave me a an estimate for how soon he would be able to help. He was professional and prompt. He figured out the problem, and install a new igniter to the stove. I was truly impressed by his timeliness, craftsmanship, and his professionalism. Just a Quick Pointer, there is a merchant fee for using a credit card. Thanks again Donovan, I am definitely going to keep your name in mind for future appliance repair projects.

Tony and Andrew are great techs that are very knowledgeable and professional. Silvia, Illiana and Michelle at the office are all very helpful (yes, i know everyone by name at this point because we call them for everything) I initially thought they were mainly an appliance repair company but they also sell appliances and are very competitive. We feel fortunate to have found this company (oddly initially sent out by our home warranty company which is 50/50 on techs. When you use a company outside home warranty, that really says something. They are that good!

    They were contracted by bestbuy to fix my refrigerator. Its been 3 weeks and they still can't fix…read moreit. They ordered a bunch of parts and swapped out the inverter board when tye original diagnostic was the compressor. They just refilled it with refrigerant and then said to wait 16 hours...we'll its been days and going on weeks. The tech came 12/06 took pictures and said it wasn't the compressor that there is a leak in the system. Today I find out they ordered the compressor and a control board and who knows what other parts.. as of now i find myself being a middle person between Haus appliances and geek squad...and there seems to be little effort to find a solution to my repair...I definitely would not recommend this company...the tech clearly undermined my father's intelligence telling him twice on different occasions that the refrigerator worked when it clearly didn't.
