I didn't even complete a repair with Gardena Appliances but a review of the OUTSTANDING service I simply received over the phone is 5 star worthy. Not sure if I spoke with Myrna I didn't catch a name. But it was a woman. Wiping down my top load washer over the weekend a small corner brush head fell in between the drum and plastic tub it sits in. I panicked because I know I know nothing about a washing machine and thought the only way to retrieve it was to call a tech since I knew it more than likely wouldn't be covered under my warranty. I called a few places and was getting quoted $75 just to come out to diagnose the "problem" and others flat out said it would be $350. As a last attempt at a less expensive estimate I called Gardena Appliance as soon as I explained my issue I was told "girl you can do that yourself" granted she told me I could just tilt the machine toward me and and gently shimmy it out that didnt work I did have to remove the top panel so I can access the drum to remove the top ring cap type cover watched a couple of videos on YouTube. It was just a bunch of screws to remove it wasnt easy but it wasnt difficult I appreciate the honesty to not be quick to just offer to come out to service and offering me an alternative. I was still nervous I simply didn't want to mess anything up. But her reassurance that it was something simple to solve and didn't require a service tech helped me take the DIY leap. To save me money when she very well could have just took it. You don't see that everyday. May this business stay blessed. I washed some clothes in our Samsung front load washer and when I pulled out the load of clothing, there was a large wire hanging out from the opening. I asked my wife if she noticed it before and she said she did and just tucked it back into the gasket without telling me. Unfortunately, that wire keeps water from leaking out of the washer and stuffing it back in is not a solution. Myrna at Gardena Appliances had been so helpful during our crisis when our built in oven died and gave us advice to save money, I decided to give her a call to see what they could do. GA was the only company that gave me a price for the entire job (as long as nothing extra was required) instead of giving me the price for just coming out and saying they would credit that to the complete job. Props to GA for that. All the other companies Yelp referred only revealed service call prices. How do you compare one mystery with another? Didn't need to worry about that with GA. Myrna and Jose were able to come out the same day and when she learned that I was the one who had left a complimentary Yelp review for her previous assistance, her face lit up and really appreciated the review. I'm so happy we were finally able to do business. They took care of the problem in no time flat and for an extremely reasonable price. I look forward to calling them first if we have appliance problems in the future that aren't covered under warranty. They take pride in their work and serving the community in the South Bay. My refrigerator went bad on Saturday and I call Myrna she told me be at my house in one hour after I waited for her4 hours two guys show up and took less than 2 minutes to say my fridge have a leak and they recommended to buy a new one . According with them the new refrigerators only last 2 to 3 years but the worst part is they still charge me $75.00 dollar just for going to my house no even used a single tool and in less than 2 minutes they where asking for the $75 . This is the most terrible place you can call doue to they only fix old appliances. Never call this place! read more

Recent power outages caused my Whirlpool refrigerator to stop working. I also have a 30 yo Maytag Washer. Called Gardena Appliances at 8am and was told they open at 10 am and that I could call back. Called back and gave me an appointment time. Myrna and her awesome Husband came and assessed the problem with my appliances and were very honest about the fix. They gave me a very informative lesson about the way fridges and washers work. I was advised to keep my Maytag washer, and how to operate it so that it keeps working well. My whirlpool fridge needed a part so they went to get it, and came back and fixed the fridge. I was very pleased with their services! They are extremely knowledgeable and the best in the game in appliance repair. Their service phone kept going off because they are very busy. Gardena appliance definitely has a customer for life in me but hopefully I will not have to call them again because I don't want my appliances to break lol. read more

I really wanted to work with this company to fix a few house hold appliances, after asking the owner a few questions over the phone she seemed to get irritated with me and ended up blocking my phone number and I could no longer get in contact with them. I called them from my phone a few times and it would go straight to voicemail then called from a different number and the call went through. I understand companies have the right to chose who they work with it was just very shocking and disappointing that they would actually block me from receiving their services. I didn't cuss them out say anything rude to them, I did get irritated while on the call because Myrna was very impatient and talking over me while I would ask questions. I've never experienced this type of behavior from a business but that's all on that. Reply to owner: everyone has a bad day, perhaps think a bit longer before blocking someone. While other repair companies didn't want to help me look into the problem unless I paid for a diagnostic visit, Myrna went out of her way to research what was wrong with my specific model of washer to help determine if a repair was possible so I wouldn't be wasting money on a diagnostic visit that wouldn't result in my washer being fixed. I had a lovely experience with Myrna and our refrigerator repair. We communicated via text and phone calls, and she was super responsive. I actually really appreciated that flexibility because with work, I couldn't always pop out for a phone call. She spoke with my tenants to diagnose the issue, and she and her hubby were out at our home within a couple of days with the right parts in place to fix the fridge. I appreciated that although she was dealing with my tenants, she kept me up to date on everything that was going on, and made the process super easy for all of us. We are across the country, so we were dealing with different time zones and it was great! Our tenants even commented about how nice Myrna and her husband are, and we're happy with the service and how quickly everything was resolved. The service was good and Myrna was pleasant and made sure the repair to my washing machine was done properly, efficiently and completed in a timely manner. I called Gardena Appiances to schedule service to fix my oven. It's close to my home. I told them the issue and Myrna already knew what the problem was. My oven igniter need to be replaced because the oven would not heat up. Apparently it's an easy fix, but I'm not the DYI type to mess with it. No thanks! They have been in the business for over 30 years and she and her husband really know what they're doing. I was so happy to have someone willing to come into my home to fix my oven during these crazy COVID times. Myrna was lovely! We sat and chatted while her husband fixed my oven in about 10-15 minutes. She felt like a long time friend or tía that made you just feel comfortable around her. I locked up my dogs and cat as a courtesy but she wanted to meet them because she loves animals! Great experience- Myrna and Jose are skilled, honest and will give you a very reasonable price. After talking to them, you know they've been doing this for a long time. What I appreciate about them is that they will make sure the work is done correctly and will go out of their way to return and fix the issue of something was missed the first time. We had the drain pump in our washing machine replaced which was the cause of the problem. The washer worked great for a few days but I discovered a small leak underneath the washer. I contacted Myrna and they came back to fixed the leak which was entirely in a different spot with no additional cost. That's customer service.
