We went here because of all the positive reviews& ever time we go to Toccoa it's packed. I had the chicken liver, hubby had fried chicken. The food was a little bland needed more seasoning but Texas Pete helped. The macaroni & cheese was watery but mashed potatoes were good. Our waitress was nice. We will probably go back. read more

Very good southern food for anyone interested. A staple restaurant in Toccoa. Not something I'd eat weekly or anything, but good every now and again. I haven't found anything on the menu I didn't like. Only compliant is that they have the strangest business hours of any restaurant I've ever known. Not sure what's going on but ordered 4 plates of their iconic chicken fingers and got some of the worst food service chicken strips I have ever ate. Not only that but the coleslaw was bland and the crinkle cut French fries were obviously frozen food service fries. Great burgers and fries!! Very packed when I went which is a good sign as to how good the food is. Got takeout after realizing it was "seat yourself", and I had my mom and baby waiting in car. Realized it was easier just to order to go! 1 Star off because when I tried to order food to-go the older cashier lady told me I had to wait until all the customers waiting to pay had paid in a not so nice manner. Atmosphere is old country. They have an. order window you can walk up too. Food is very reasonably priced. Check out their chili dog $1.50 for two on Tuesday,Wednesday, and Thursday. Avoid the slaw upcharge. Their chili slaw dogs are awesome though. Their burgers are great. You get a real burger for the price of a quarter pounder at McDonald's.. They are known for their fried chicken and hamburgers. I always order the bbq chicken tenders which is more like a grilled chicken breast chopped and covered with bbq sauce, it is very good. They also have good crinkle cut fries too. Everything on the menu is good, you can't go wrong. read more

Not being from the south but I don't think it matters. I find this place not to my liking. This is my second time going since my mother-in-law thinks it is outstanding. I decided to try the "famous" hamburger. It was terrible. No taste to me. My wife had the chicken livers. She thinks they are very good. Not too many places in Toccoa but unless you're a local stay clear. If you are looking for the bathrooms you have to go outside the restaurant to the back of the building, very strange to me. The cake "looked" good but did not try it. I will not try this place again. read more

Always a good choice when dining in Toccoa. Food is good and prices are great. I always opt for chicken livers, so it's the only thing I can personally vouch for on the menu. $6 for livers, fries, slaw, and a roll. Can't beat it. I would give 5 stars, but the waits can be long if you have more than 4 people in your party (small dining area) and service isn't always up to par. Although these things are disappointing and sometimes inconvenient, we still come back to eat here. If you're in Toccoa, stop by Bell's and grab a bite to eat. read more

Unless you are a local, I'd stay clear of this place. They don't like people who they don't know. I work in Toccoa but live in a different town. I have been to this place a dozen or so times but the service and attitudes are just becoming too much. After waiting for 5 minutes at the window in the heat, I went on to get my order. Was told that I had to go back outside to pay and get food. I told then I had waited out there for 5 minutes. Went back outside only to wait behind someone that was still waiting. I expressed my displeasure and told them I would not be back only to be told they didn't care. If they don't care about someone who had been eating there pretty regularly. I doubt they care about anyone-s business. Delicious! The mushroom Swiss burger was huge! Boneless country fried chicken with gravy did not disappoint-crunchy outside, juicy and tender inside. Some of the best creamed corn I've ever had.
