I went there to eat, not drink. I ordered the fried shrimp (you can also get it grilled) basket. It came with 12 JUMBO shrimp, slaw, and tots for $15. It was served less than 5 minutes after I ordered and was so hot I had to let it cool off a couple minutes before I could eat it! While I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shrimp I felt they skimped a little on the tots. Overall, it was a great value and I highly recommend you try it. My wife and I went here on a Wednesday night about 7 o'clock and we found this place actually very nice. It's not the fanciest place but I will tell you this it's quiet. Most bars you have a hard time finding a place to actually sit down and eat without sitting at the bar and being able to have a conversation without talking loud loudly we were able to have a nice conversation and eat, and it was really pleasant It's a real nice place to go to and the food was great. The young lady took care of us was exceptional and we started out with the artichoke dip and chips and I had a fish dinner and it was man. It was good. Feels like a watering hole for locals. Food: 3.5. Typical bar food/American affair. My tater tots were hot and crispy and my burger wasn't over cooked. Hubby had pulled pork and everything on the plate was very good. Their extensive outdoor patio is pet friendly. Our server seemed new and inexperienced. We had to ask for utensils and condiments after our food came out. She was friendly though. I do agree with a prior comment on here about the pricing. They charged me $11.49 for my burger when the menu says $10.49 and the pulled pork plate was $4 more than the printed menu. Menus don't have to be laminated. I was visiting family in Toccoa and was discouraged at the lack of locally owned restaurants that are open for dinner. Downtown Toccoa has a handful of places but mainly only open for breakfast and lunch. I was glad to find Junior's The service was friendly and the food arrived hot. I ordered the cheese curds for an app. They were the right amount of salty and the marinara sauce was house-made and delicious. For the entree I ordered the grilled Grouper. I was skeptical about ordering fish this far from the ocean, but the owner said he gets multiple fish deliveries weekly and works hard not to use frozen fish. We got to the covered patio just in time before a torrential rain came. Daniel was great and was eager to serve us. We came to drink (and we did!) but we also shared a Buffalo shrimp appetizer. I get the place is new, but they need to train their waitresses on how to give better service or just hire more experienced people. The service was super slow. Just get people their drinks first, then we won't mind waiting. As for food, just know that you're overpaying for the portion sizes they give. I got the Caesar salad that was almost $5 and it was literally the same size as my cup of chowder. The smallest regular (not side) salad I've ever received at a restaurant. The people I were with ordered a Philly and it's literally the size of a hotdog. While the food is good, just know you won't be getting a lot of it. My friend and I have eaten here several times and enjoyed it but our most recent visit was a big disappointment. We went in after the normal lunch rush but noticed that there were a few more people than we normally do but I definitely wouldn't say they were crowded. We took a seat and waited... and waited. After a longer than normal wait a waitress came by and dropped off a couple menus but didn't even stop long enough to take our drink orders. After about ten minutes we got our drinks and placed our orders. Forty minutes later we got our order. During that forty minute wait the only thing we heard from the staff was that they only had one cook and that was a new person. The news cook isn't as good as the old cook. The shrimp were terribly over seasond and the tater tots were the bits from the bottom of the bag. When the check came it showed only a total, no itemization at all and it seemed to be too much. I asked for itemization of the bill and discovered that they charged three dollars for iced tea (yes I know lots of restaurants gouge their clients like this. Still not right.) They also charged $3 for paying with a card. That's more than double what the bank charges them. read more

The wings we ordered were a little overdone but at least they were edible. However the menu says 30 wings for $30. We received our check and they were $36. Now $6 isn't gonna make or break us but that isn't even the point. I get price changes. I'm a restaurant manager as well. I know that prices have gone up and have absolutely zero problems with paying more. But if you're going to charge more, have the decency to update your menu. If you can't afford them or they or on back order or whatever the case may be have your servers let their customers know that some of the prices may not be accurate as there have been price increases. Put a sign on your door or on your chalkboard or whatever you need to do. Customers don't like being surprised like that when the check comes!!! There is NO excuse for it!! For shits sake print your own menus if you have to!! Don't respond to me that prices went up about 7 months ago, have you just not been here in a while?!?! We stumbled across the place by accident and we couldn't be happier! Wonderful service, friendly atmosphere, Delicious food and super cocktails! I wish I'd remembered to get pics before we dug in! I have been wanting to stop in for awhile and because of COVID this was the first chance I had. I got to meet the main cook Bobby and he listened in to my order or ribs with cole slaw and requested "crispy" fried okra. Bobby asked how crispy I wanted it and I said real crispy. Well Bobby delivered. Ribs were meaty and smoked to perfection. I tried there new craft stout and it was delicious. Kathy the manager was attentive to not just me but to the whole lunch crowd. Just because you can finance a restaurant doesn't mean you should open one. The hostess/bartender that seated us was personable and fast. From that point on it seemed to go downhill. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and then we waited 15-20 minutes for them. When we finally received them they were beyond hard and the pickle was tasteless. i refused them and hoped the remainder of the mean would go better. We then ordered hamburger steak, baked potatoes, and salads. So the meal comes out but no salads to be seen. I waited and attempted not to be presumptuous. I did ask for 1/2 glass of ice water at this point (which I never got). We ate our hamburger steak and potatoes, and then she brings the bill. I ask about our salads at that point. They looked OK, but tasted funky. My son who wouldn't eat his said it was the burnt bacon bits but I'm not sure. The waitress was flighty at best. The owner seemed more interested in making drinking buddies then running a business. He stayed outside with the motorcycle enthusiast. My point just because you can buy a deep fryer and a microwave doesn't mean you have the talent or skill to cook meals. I tried this restaurant for the first time today. It's my son's birthday and he wanted a steak. We were highly disappointed. I ordered two 12oz sirloins, fries and salad. At least HALF of my steak was fat. It wasn't seasoned or cooked correctly. The salad and fries were ok but I didn't stop for salad and fries. Probably one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I ordered a medium filet with a side of scallops. The steak came out well done and the waitress offered to cook another - the second one that they brought out was extremely rare to the point of raw. At this point, I had been waiting on my food awhile and was ready to leave so I just told the waitress I just didn't want the steak. She apologized and said she understood and she'd take it off the check. The owner came out and asked me to eat the steak if he recooked it and I explained that I had been waiting to eat for awhile now (going on an hour) and that it wasn't cooked right either time. The owner complained he would have to throw the steaks away and was losing money. He followed that by saying that he had a relative "like" me that had to have food cooked perfect or he would send it back. I explained again that it wasn't even close to the temperature I asked for either time. They did take it off the check, but I was surprised that they charged $8.00 for 2 scallops slightly larger than .50 cent pieces. We didn't bother to even bring that up after the treatment from the owner. We won't be returning or recommending this place to anyone. I will say the waitress was professional, polite and knowledgeable of the menu and it in no way is her fault or any of the other coworkers. I feel sorry for the employees working under that kind of management if they are willing to treat customers that way. Stunned how bad our experience was. Our first time we waited an hour for our food. We decided to try it again to support a local business. Ordered a medium rare steak and was sent out a butterflied nearly well done steak. Not a big deal until Butch, the kitchen manager brought out the nearly well done steak and asked me "how much more medium rare do you want this?!" I told him medium rare is a warm red center (ask ANYONE who has ever worked at a steak house). He turned and walked away abruptly to then throw the plate and steak into a dirty dish "bucket" very loudly. About 10 minutes later a second steak was sent out that had been seasoned and literally laid on the grill on both sides for a few seconds (the waitress even told us he told the cook to leave it on for a few seconds in each side). It was ice cold in the middle. He apparently took offense to me not liking an almost well done steak when I requested medium rare and was being spiteful. He then confronted me and my husband about this second steak. Acting like a child as a manager is ridiculous and we will never return and let everyone know how horrible of an experience we had. I was polite and kind the entire time until he confronted us a second time. Please find a manager that knows how to treat people! read more

I would like to say that the reason the food was not up to par, was due to the place just opening. However, the portions were very very small compared to the price. I tried a fish sandwich and the actual piece of fish was much smaller than the bun and about 1/8 of an inch thick. It was basically a tartar sauce sandwich.
