They hosted a buffet for my aunt's funeral and it was very good. Waitresses were very attentive and fast getting our food and drinks out.

Had lunch here today with my mom and sister. The burger was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. My mom and sister had nothing but praise for their catfish meals. The atmosphere was comfortable, the prices reasonable and the staff pleasant. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Will go back again. read more

I think I missed reviewing the first time I went. Good enough to go back and take my kid. I like a good breakfast. The people and the location make it better. Got waffle with bacon and eggs. My kid got French toast with bacon and grits. These are our favorite foods, and they're done just right. Take time to visit the shops around the area! read more

The X-Factor has delicious foods on their menu and I tried several. The offer breakfast and lunch but only open until 3pm. The servers were extremely polite and helpful when asking about menu items. Our food was delivered to our table in a timely manner and again by a friendly staff member. Located in the historic downtown Kennesaw a wonderful restaurant with exceptionally good service. Our waitress was a very sweet and hard-working person that made our experience far above average. We had a party of 6 + a toddler during the lunch rush. The service was good although we had to wait a while but it was worth it. Our food arrived hot and delicious: 2 people had the country fried steak and 3 ladies had the chicken panini, Cole slaw, mashed potatoes, all which were very good. Stopped here with a bigger group after visiting Currahee Mountain. With few options in the area, we opted for the xfactor. I was a bit skeptical based on some reviews but the atmosphere and wait staff was very nice so my hopes improved. The good. I got a "pulled pork plate" with a Ceasars side salad for $10. The restaurant is clean and inviting and the waitress was very nice. The Ceasars salad was pretty good. The bad. The food left a LOT to be desired. The pulled pork looked like it came from a can, all the sides were very basic. I asked others in the group what they thought and the consensus was the same. Nothing special. Most said 2-3 stars. Based on atmosphere and prices alone it would be 4 stars, but the food was disappointing all around so overall I give it 3 stars. read more

We went to the X-Factor after a visit around Toccoa for the museum and some in our group did a hike. It had pretty classic diner/cafe vibes and I think the best word to describe the whole experience is 'average'. We had a somewhat large group, 8 people plus a baby, and the seating was a little confusing (this was lunch during the week in the holiday season), but we seated ourselves and it took the servers a while to bring us menus. I had the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was good, but nothing to write home about. I think others in the group had similar opinions, nothing was awful but it was just another lunch. The staff was also not as friendly as I expected (a different experience from other reviewers, I guess), but if I'm ever back in Toccoa I'll probably give another restaurant a try. read more

Good food, absolutely superb fried pickles. The chicken tenders with fries/okra was great along with the Turkey panini with potato salad. However, they were playing on the TV news about AI technology and it really scared me. I don't want to leave. Would recommend to bring your hunger but not your fears of world domination. read more

The service was very slow. We were served our drinks quickly but then it was a solid 15 before our order was taken. I had the Cuban and it wasn't even warm. The cheese was not at all melted, the pork was cut in cubes and there was very little. Overall a poor experience. We have been going there for 3-4 years during the summer/fall. Our past few visits have been less than ideal. I brought a party of 8 recently and the food was barely warm, even the greens. This was everyone's experience. So that was 3 times that we had subpar meals. The service is always great, but the last time should have been noticed by the waitress. Oh my Lord!!! Not only did we avoid Atlanta traffic by scooting off the interstate, we found this restaurant (and antique store). Ok, we ALWAYS say, let's explore someplace new on our way home for out of town, we'll this time hubby fell asleep and I took the road less well, never, traveled. Luckily, X-factor (which I hate to admit I originally thought was going to be one of those "gentleman's steakhouse" places) is a fantabulous, local, diner that had wonderful (and fully-clothed) staff. Hubby had the Rueben with fries and I had the Hawaiian panini (ham, provolone, mustard on grilled Hawaiian bread) with fried pickles. Absolutely delicious! Definitely a must try and then wander around the 3 levels of the antique store. We didn't get dessert but I would drive the 2 hours just to go back and wander around town. read more

Flew into Taccoa, asked one of the guys on the airfield where to eat and he recommended X-factor Grill. We shared a cup of Italian wedding soup. It was very flavorful but I wished there were more meatballs in the cup. I got the special salad which I requested to have all spinach, bleu cheese crumbles and bleu cheese dressing instead of mixed greens, feta cheese and strawberry vinegarette dressing. The kitchen absolutely got it right. My salad was great. My husband got the fish tacos. They were not bad but we have had better. The real gem of the meal was dessert-banana pudding and apple pie with caramel ice cream. The apple pie was great but the banana pudding was fabulous! Our waitress actually makes the banana pudding herself and shared her secrets to making it. Service was very attentive and friend. We came here because it had the best Yelp reviews in town, and since our experience didn't quite match the reviews, I'd be willing to come back and give it another try. Overall it seemed like just another lunch spot with nothing being all that special, hence only 3 stars. The food was very much average and so was the service. It took us quite a while to be served on a not super busy weekday lunch period. Their beer selection consists of random bottles in a fridge, which in itself is totally ok (can actually be quite fun since you can sometimes have a greater selection), but the staff didn't have any clue what beers they had or how many, so we ended up having to lean over the bar and read beer labels through the fridge door. I having been going to a bookstore nearby and have always wanted to try this place out. Finally I had some time today. First of all the folks who work here are friendly, helpful and efficient. Ex Factory has a nice atmosphere as is located in historic building and gives a feel of nostalgia. The food is always excellent. I recommend trying the grape salad. there isn't anything on the menu that isn't excellent. They make good coffee. It would be good to check their hours before going to their location as they are closed on some days. read more

Always a great place to grab a quick bite for lunch. Its a Tuesday staple for me and my friend. Not a fan of the Gumbo soup, its served too often. Put Broccoli and Cheese or the Tomato soup on as a regular menu item, they are great! And the White County burger is fantastic! read more

My husband and I were in town and decided to try this place because of the great reviews. We were pleasantly pleased with the level of service we received. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. We ordered mozzarella sticks Buffalo wings okra cheese grits salmon and the Cuban sandwich. We didn't get pics of all the food but trust me. It was very delicious. We will definitely eat here again if we're ever in the area and we highly recommend that you try it as well. read more

Today was our first visit to Toccoa. As mentioned in other reviews, there's not a lot going on after about 3 or 4 pm downtown. There are many businesses, but they close late in the afternoon. The X-Factor has an interesting menu. We ordered fried green tomatoes and burgers. All of the food was very good. The menu has a variety of entrees, including catfish, chicken, steak, salads, and so forth. They have a broad selection of beers at very reasonable prices. I have an interest in lighting and it's something I notice in restaurants. The X-Factor would look more upscale if they replaced the old fluorescent store fixtures on the ceiling. The bare bulbs look like they are left over from when the building was the 5 & 10 Cent Store. We ran across the Ritz Theatre and we are looking forward to attending one of the events. This was interesting. Super interesting place with antiques attached, large and clean. Service was super fast and very friendly. We chose it because reviews said clean and kinda average on food expectations and that's about right. Almost diner like with paninis . They work hard to make people happy & we value that effort and they were open on a Monday when no one else was. Five stars for the hard work by the folks working there as we observed an sweet staff full of good people. Its fine. Its ok. Its not terrible. Its food that is hovering around the $10 range without a drink. My table had spaghetti, a chicken salad sandwich and chicken fingers... if you asked any of us how our meal was while we were still eating, we would have said "its fine". I went to the Toccoa Harvest Festival today. We tried out this restaurant. Two of the people in my party ordered a Cuban sandwich, which was ok. I ordered a bratwurst. Someone needs to tell the cook how to cook /make a bratwurst, you can get a better hot dog at a child's football game concession stand. Now the fried green tomatoes were good. I might go back to this restaurant in the future, just won' t order the bratwurst! read more

The food is fabulous and antiques are next door if you want to shop a bit while waiting. It's one of the few places open in downtown Toccoa.
