I was recommended by Allstate to come to this location, I looked up the reviews, and it seemed like a good choice. I took my car in because it got in a small accident that required body work and an axle to be fixed. I brought my car early and while I was waiting for the shop to open I looked around the property to see what they were working on. The majority of the lot was full of what I call rental cars. Think of lots of small sedans by nissan, toyota, honda, chevy, some jeep grand cherokees, and it went on like that. My car was a Mercedes, immediately i had a bad feeling. In my mind I thought to myself, they like easy work that insurances throw at them. So people begin to arrive and I explain what happened, very kind people so far They take my car in, inspect it, say they can take it, and then give me a quote with a random fixed number. I say random because it was $1500 and it didn't say what exactly they were going to work on. Okay don't care they said they would take my car and after all the blah blah and paper blah blah they'll call me when its done. Great cant wait. Three days later "Hi come pick up your car we cant work on it." ummmmm what? "Well why not? You said you could, you inspected it and took it in" rage slowly rising inside me "Because your vehicle wasn't in pristine condition when you got into your accident, therefore we cant work on it" rage rising. "but you inspected it, we were there together when you inspected it, I saw you draw on your copy of the car where the damage was and you said you will take the car" my left eye is twitching now. "yeah im so sorry, the person who inspected your vehicle made a mistake, you are going to have to pick up your car tomorrow." Theyre calling me at 5:15 PM ish with this. What shop stays open after 6?! Where the hell can I call to see where i can drop it off at this hour?! Wow now i'm pissed. So learn from my experience everyone. My car was wrecked and in bad shape (Blue 07 Honda Civic). I took the car to Bellwood Auto Body and after the work was completed Bellwood Auto Body asked me if I was satisfied with the work on my car and I said no, they immediately offered to redo the work and at the same time attempted to give me my money back. Bellwood Auto Body not only repaired the car to my standards but tried repeatedly to return my money. I asked why are you trying to return the money and Bellwood Auto Body said it is their job to make every customer happy, my heart was touched. I refused the money because of a wonderful job, wonderful customer service and most of all, they guarantee all there work. Have to admit after the damage done to my car I was really bummed out my Dodge Challenger in B5 Blue went through some vandalism. Brought my vehicle in to Bellwood Auto body and at first thought I was going to be treated like just some customer. On the contrary was treated with great respect Ignacio from the get go and the staff made me feel in good hands. Was told a week and a half it would take for the job to get done. A week later I was called upon and told me car was finished earlier than expected. Went to pick up my Dodge Challenger and it looked as new as the day that I bought it. Ignacio, even went over the car with me on every detailed that was worked on made me look at every angle make sure I was satisfied with the work that was done. Being involved in an accident is super stressful no matter how minor it is, having to repair damages to a vehicle that you're still paying for is just as bad. Nonetheless I'm so glad I decided to bring my car to get repaired here not only was Rosa V. Extremely helpful but she made me forget for a second about the stress from the accident. They contacted the insurance company directly for the repairs which took another weight off my should.
