DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Very Disappointed With the Quality of Work I brought my car to this body shop for repairs and unfortunately have had to return three separate times because issues were either left unresolved or came up after the repair. After the initial repair, they left a rattle in the door panel and another rattle coming from the wheel that I could actually feel through the steering wheel. I brought the car back a second time. They fixed the door-panel rattle, but the issue with the wheel was not fixed. About a month later, the paint on the bumper they repaired started chipping off. I brought the car back for a third time to address the paint issue and the ongoing wheel rattle. They did fix the paint, but once again, the wheel rattle was not repaired. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. The amount of time and inconvenience I've spent returning the vehicle for issues that should have been properly addressed the first time has been extremely frustrating. read more

Husband and I came upon this shop and they have extremely great customer service. They are very upfront with cost and have excellent communications skills. Through the time of repair I would receive frequent updates and pictures to see the progress. Staff here is friendly and have an amazing warranty for the paint of 3 years! Avoid this place at all cost!! They did a HORRIBLE job on my Toyota RAV4. I took my car to them because i was recommended by the owners daughter and that still didn't mean anything to him! I took my car in for mechanical problems, whenever i make turns with my vehicle it makes a loud clicking sound. Mind you this was the reason I brought my car in for. I picked up my car and in a few days it had the same problem. I was not able to take my car then and there because my dad got extremely sick and i was stuck in the ICU for months, mind you the warranty paper he gave me said mechanical problems are covered for 1 year. I took it back a few months after, and after his inspection he calls me to let me know that his job was done well but the mechanic who fixed my car can fix it the problem i just have to pay them. Now why would i pay for something that my insurance already paid him for?!?!?! I honestly was so mad I told him to give me my car keys and left. With everything going on, dealing with him was the less of my worries at the time! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. He not only scams your insurance but he will also scam you, the customer! Any damage that is mechanical I would honestly look for another collision center, because he doesn't even do any mechanical work himself. 9/25 Rene please don't act like you were doing me a favor when you got paid to do your job! Now you want to say that you barely made any profit? Is this before or after you TOLD me to lie to my insurance and say my car got towed so they can reimburse you for that? Or what about the time you falsified a $2,000+ receipt and told me to give it to my insurance, and then told me once they paid me to give you the check?? You're a dishonest person who is only looking out after themselves, and now that people are telling you, you want to feel a type of way. When i took you my car I told you that the clicking sound it makes was my main concern and that's why I was taking it to you along with the damage to my door that was caused by the same accident. Yes I had prior accidents, which no one told you to get involved in hence why I didn't provide you those claim # accidents. Of course i told you didn't have money for the repairs because why would i pay out of pocket for issues that were caused during an accident, when i have FULL COVERAGE. But since you wanted to bring up prior accidents, lets me mention how you "fixed" my car door, yet when you gave me my car back I lost all control to move windows up/down & move my side mirrors. And when i brought it up to you, you said I have to pay you or someone to fix the wiring of my door. Everything you supposedly fixed in my car wasn't even fixed!!! Had to search for a place to do some repairs on my Lexus, and this place had a lot of great reviews. From the moment I started working with them they were amazing. Sandra is really great at communicating the steps along the way from start to finish. The owner Rene and his team were also really great at getting everything done in a timely manner. Luckily I work from home so did not need my car back immediately but they still delivered it back in a timely manner. Replaced my back bumper and the paint looked amazing. I also was not quite happy with the color of my rims and they told me to bring it back as soon as possible and they fixed it in a day with no issues. Really great work, no complaints. read more

However, as I went through pages of the highly rated ones, I was drawn to A&R because of the emphasis on great communication between the business and client, in addition to the service. I'm sure all the other body shops can do a decent job on fixing up your car, but A&R seriously takes it to a whole 'notha level! Rene, the business owner, does an incredible job of making sure that you and your car are taken care of, while keeping you in the loop about any status updates whenever you need. Even when there were difficulties with insurance, Rene took care of all of that, making the previously stressful situation so breezy. Horrible service. Stay away at all costs. Car was in there for 3 weeks. When I got it back headlight wasn't aligned right , hood was also off. Was told I had to make another appointment so they can fix those issues that should've been resolved when I picked up the car. Update: this is the correct body shop. You worked on my fathers car. Funny how you're quick to respond when you get a bad review but when it's time to fix a car that wasn't fixed properly you drag your feet. read more

First of all I would give this place more stars if I could. Rene and his father were very responsive and accommodating since the beginning. I called in and the same day they asked me to take my car in. They were straight forward without any bs. They helped me out and explained the process. They took care of everything with my insurance. In less then two weeks I had my car and it looked like new. Even after picking my car up they were very attentive to my concerns and questions. They made it a very easy process. If you find yourself in the need of a auto collision provider, do not hesitate to contact A & R Auto Collision. After my 2018 Toyota Tacoma got hit in back I had to go through the stages of grief, and once I hit the "acceptance" had to call my insurance company (All State) and deal with it. This was my first time having to file for a claim and get a vehicle repaired. The process can be overwhelming, the insurance company referred me to one of their trusted auto body repair shops, but the reviews were pretty bad. In California you are allowed to take it to an auto collision repair shop of your choice. So ended up doing my own research, little did I realize how many auto body shops are around. A & R stood out because of the previous yelp reviews, this place just has there stuff together. Rene helps make a painful process as easy as possible. Scheduled a time to meet, he was able to give me a breakdown of the process, and repairs needed. Once I gave him my claim number, I did not have to deal with the insurance appraiser/adjuster anymore, he took care of it all. The turn around time was quick considering the amount of small details needed to restore the truck. He kept me in the loop from beginning to end. The truck came back like nothing had happened to it. You could never tell it had been hit. It was pretty awesome! The A & R team are masters of their craft, and you can tell they take great care in the work they perform. When I picked up the truck, it was explained what was fixed, showed me the old parts that were replaced. Just give you a feeling of confidence and that the job was done right. If you are reading this, being in a car accident sucks and is annoying, but living in So Cal I guess it is just a matter of time. It is always good to have a great resource like A & R. The pictures will explain itself BUT don't do enough justice. Let me just start off by saying Rene and his team did an amazing job!! I am very satisfied with their work and the customer service is A1. When I was first looking for a body shop to help me out, they all were giving me the run arounds because the car is a year 2022 and they just didn't want to deal with that because their "system wasn't updated for that specific year" and the car is "not repairable". Well of course this was no problem for Rene, he called me and assured me that "the car is in fact repairable". After looking at pictures of his work, I knew I was in good hands. Rene told me the car should be done in about 2 weeks, no later than that but no these people just get better and better, I got the car back in a week!! They even washed it for me and EVERYTHING! I read about the reviews this shop got on this very site and gave them a whirl. The shop looks unassuming, in a way that I wasn't sure I was even in the right place when I walked in. I met with Rene who was very friendly and helpful. I showed him the damage as well as some other dings and scratches I had. With the money from the other driver's insurance, I was able to get not only the rear bumper fixed, but also most of the scrapes and dings. The work was excellent and completed promptly.
