Avoid this place at all cost!! They did a HORRIBLE job on my Toyota RAV4. I took my car to them because i was recommended by the owners daughter and that still didn't mean anything to him! I took my car in for mechanical problems, whenever i make turns with my vehicle it makes a loud clicking sound. Mind you this was the reason I brought my car in for. I picked up my car and in a few days it had the same problem. I was not able to take my car then and there because my dad got extremely sick and i was stuck in the ICU for months, mind you the warranty paper he gave me said mechanical problems are covered for 1 year. I took it back a few months after, and after his inspection he calls me to let me know that his job was done well but the mechanic who fixed my car can fix it the problem i just have to pay them. Now why would i pay for something that my insurance already paid him for?!?!?! I honestly was so mad I told him to give me my car keys and left. With everything going on, dealing with him was the less of my worries at the time! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. He not only scams your insurance but he will also scam you, the customer! Any damage that is mechanical I would honestly look for another collision center, because he doesn't even do any mechanical work himself. 9/25 Rene please don't act like you were doing me a favor when you got paid to do your job! Now you want to say that you barely made any profit? Is this before or after you TOLD me to lie to my insurance and say my car got towed so they can reimburse you for that? Or what about the time you falsified a $2,000+ receipt and told me to give it to my insurance, and then told me once they paid me to give you the check?? For sure, in this area, there's a lot of auto body shops to choose from. However, as I went through pages of the highly rated ones, I was drawn to A&R because of the emphasis on great communication between the business and client, in addition to the service. I'm sure all the other body shops can do a decent job on fixing up your car, but A&R seriously takes it to a whole 'notha level! Rene, the business owner, does an incredible job of making sure that you and your car are taken care of, while keeping you in the loop about any status updates whenever you need. First of all I would give this place more stars if I could. Rene and his father were very responsive and accommodating since the beginning. I called in and the same day they asked me to take my car in. They were straight forward without any bs. They helped me out and explained the process. They took care of everything with my insurance. After my 2018 Toyota Tacoma got hit in back I had to go through the stages of grief, and once I hit the "acceptance" had to call my insurance company (All State) and deal with it. This was my first time having to file for a claim and get a vehicle repaired. The process can be overwhelming, the insurance company referred me to one of their trusted auto body repair shops, but the reviews were pretty bad. In California you are allowed to take it to an auto collision repair shop of your choice. So ended up doing my own research, little did I realize how many auto body shops are around. A & R stood out because of the previous yelp reviews, this place just has there stuff together. Rene helps make a painful process as easy as possible. Scheduled a time to meet, he was able to give me a breakdown of the process, and repairs needed. Once I gave him my claim number, I did not have to deal with the insurance appraiser/adjuster anymore, he took care of it all. The turn around time was quick considering the amount of small details needed to restore the truck. He kept me in the loop from beginning to end. The truck came back like nothing had happened to it. You could never tell it had been hit. It was pretty awesome! The A & R team are masters of their craft, and you can tell they take great care in the work they perform. When I picked up the truck, it was explained what was fixed, showed me the old parts that were replaced. Just give you a feeling of confidence and that the job was done right. When I was first looking for a body shop to help me out, they all were giving me the run arounds because the car is a year 2022 and they just didn't want to deal with that because their "system wasn't updated for that specific year" and the car is "not repairable". After having had 2 cars repaired with A & R Auto Collision, you can definitely say that I would recommend this super helpful (and very kind) group of people to anyone else. Here's a bit of the context as to why I needed a repair in the first place: I hit another persons car (Toyota Corolla) with my car (Honda CR-Z). The rear end of person's car had been morphed due to impact and damaged in other ways of course. Then my car had severe front end damage. I had just bought my car and I felt so low. I noticed the reviews for A & R were, without a doubt, much more satisfactory than other auto repair locations in my neighborhood. I called Rene (there are 2 Renes but you will be glad to know they are both very hospitable men) and explained my very long and complex situation. We were able to talk many things through which resulted in quite the success. First they completely repaired the other persons car. New parts in, damaged parts out. Took a week and a half which wasn't bad considering the damage. Also, and this is what made me shed an invisible tear, when person and I returned to pick up their car, they complained of a small scratch which they claimed hadn't been there before. In all honesty I don't know if it could have been there already because the car had been a bit dirty when we dropped it off but Rene Sr did what only a caring and business oriented man would do. He retrieved a small bottle of touch up paint, covered the very tiny scratches on the car, and gifted the rest of the paint to the person just in case they wanted to go over the others that were on the car (which A&R were not responsible for). I was impressed and couldn't wait to get my car started. Then they explained the steps I needed to take and worked very closely with my insurance agency to repair my 2014 Honda CR-Z. Rene and his team ordered brand new parts for my car, replaced all damaged pieces with the new ones, and detailed my vehicle before I was handed back the keys.
