I have to give Dr Nik five star and I'm sure we all had so many experiences with other dentists which made us uncomfortable This is my story : I been to so many dentists around ashburn I had problems with two of my teeth one on the right and the other on the left Very uncomfortable to eat Went to see someone (which do not want to name him) He did not have a very friendly attitude and without introducing himself just asked me to open my month which he could take a look and tell me about what he could do and how much I have to pay I felt like an ATM machine which he can cash and get his money as soon as possible He told me I needed two root canal and crowns Left the place and decided to go to the next dentist around the corner the previous one She told me the same thing and added I need gum surgery as well I was very disappointed until my friend told me about DR NIK Went to see him but was sure he was going to be the same as the other two He wasn't at all ,far from it actually I needed one root canal which I knew I had to do it and the other one was only a small chip which he fixed it without charging me And I felt like I could trust him for ever He could have made a small fortune from me cause didn't have dental insurance We all know it is hard to find a very honest and dedicated dentist and I couldn't be happier to find one specially in ashburn I would follow him every where Thank you DR NIK read more

I recently received the best cleaning of my life at Belmont Family Dentistry. The hygienist, Claudia, was professional and thorough. My teeth looked great by the time I left. She actually used pumice on the back of my lower front teeth to remove some built up tea stains. I've never had that done before. I was very pleased with the result. Thank you! Also, Dr. Nick was kind enough to give me a second opinion at no charge when I came to them after being seen by a dentist that I felt were trying to take advantage of me. When I first went to the office I was shocked that the Dentist would actually be doing the cleaning. That is usually done by the Dental Hygienist. The staff & the doc were very polite, & friendly. Fast forward to last week. Due to insurance & the virus, it has been a year since I had been to the office for a cleaning. Once again the staff is still polite & friendly. I did leave a message for the Doctor to call me back because I was having some concerns. 10 days go by with NO response back. I was finally at the apt & the Doctor told me I am so sorry I never got the message. I know I need to get my teeth clean because I have that filmy taste in my mouth. My apt was fast & not done thoroughly like usual. I called back 4 days later as I could still feel that filmy taste & could see & feel that the cleaning was not through. Once again I did not get a callback. This is now the second time. Only after I complained & left a message on his work voice mail I got a call back telling me I got the message however I had emergency patients all day. REALLY ALL DAY. You could not take 10 minutes to call me back. This is SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I am taking my business elsewhere & have to another Dentist next week to get the cleaning that I needed in the first place. What a waste of the $$ that I paid once again. I was ALSO not told that they are now charging an extra $15.00 PER visit for PPE due to the virus. That is NOT my problem for you to pass on that cost to anyone. read more

Best practice I've been to! I chose this dentist because the office was close to my job and Dr. Nik had good reviews online. The reviews did not do him justice. He started off our initial appointment in his office just getting to know me as a patient. We had a good rapport because he went to college near where I lived at the time. Very friendly and nice guy. In addition, the office staff is very professional and NICE. I cannot stress how great it is to actually walk into a doctor's office and have the staff smile and be kind to you. I had several fillings to get done to replace a few cracked fillings I had done before, and I'm not a needle fan at all, and I knew I'd need a ton of novacaine shots for all my procedure. Dr. Nik did some sort of technique where he jiggled my cheek and slid the needle in...and I literally did not feel anything. Not even a pinch, and I'm super sensitive. Also, I asked about teeth whitening and Dr. Nik put the whitening cards next to my teeth and showed me that my teeth were already naturally white and that it wouldn't be worth the money. He easily could have made $500 off me, but chose to be a nice, honest person. The only reason I am not seeing Dr. Nik anymore is that I got a job closer to my home and his office is an hour away. If he was covered under my new insurance, I would consider making the drive. The office is very clean and modern, friendly staff and AMAZING dentist. Cannot get higher praise in my book. read more

I was terrified of dentists and had not been to a dentist in about 10 years. I was referred to Dr. Nikpourfard because my wisdom teeth were decaying and causing me pain. He was very patient, and explained exactly what I was going to feel before he started the extractions. I did not even feel the needle for the numbing medication! He was AWESOME! Very professional. I love Dr.Nick at Belmont dentistry and have been with him for about 6-7 years now. He is very honest and suggests if we need anything right away or if it can wait. He is very friendly and highly skilled. I have been living in the area for 20 years now and have always wandered around in Sterling, Ashburn and Herndon area for a good dentist. I accidentally ran into Dr. Nick around 6-7 years back when my current dentist had to take a sick leave. Seeing Dr.Nick's work I have been his patient since then and infact take my whole family to Belmont Dentistry. Coming to staff, I have never seen anyone else as friendly as the ones at Belmont Dentistry. I have been to my kids pediatric hospitals, my health checkup clinics but I have never seen anyone being friendly and loving what they do. Back in the days of customer friendliness and pleasing nature have gone away nowadays or atleast in the Ashburn area. The atmosphere is still very lively at Belmont dentistry and Dr.Nick himself makes sure to greet patients at the front desk. read more

I am thinking of what to list in the "pro" . Oops..nothing to write home about. Cons - During my first visit, the dentist did a deep cleaning for my left jaw but mentioned that as right jaw in my receipt and insurance :-) I had to call them to correct it. - The second incident was the worst part. They charged my spouse twice. Well, I can accept billing errors can happen. I simply couldn't accept that there was no honest admission of an error. After repeated complaints, showing her the Explanation Of Benefits and threatening to take the business away, this was resolved. Too much hassle! read more

Dr Nikpourfard is a very professional dentist. He is an absolutely amazing kind and considerate man. He is especially good with patients who have had a bad past dental experience. My husband is absolutely terrified of dentists, doctors & hospitals because of bad past experience. Dr Nik spent a lot of time with my husband to reassure him & make him feel relaxed. He explained the full procedures he would be performing on him and how these would be carried out. He explained how he would administer him an injection. My husband had a lot if dental work to be done. Dr Nik was so kind & patient at all the appointments my husband had to attend. Not only was Dr Nik kind but his staff were also very kind, reassuring & extremely professional as is he. We were very impressed with them all, his receptionist, Nazila, his dental hygienist, Caitriona & his assistant, Gelareh . We had to travel far to attend this dentist whose reputation not only as an excellent dentist but also his reputation for his kindness to extremely nervous patients such as my husband. Dr Nik gained my husbands full trust & admiration for the way in which he was treated. Dr Nik also treated me. We have nothing but the highest regard and respect for this kind gentleman. We would not hesitate to recommend him & his very professionally run practice to anyone. We will definitely be returning to him for any future treatment even tho we have many miles to cover.
