There were over 15 people waiting outside the door for the building to be opened. Many of them were elderly or handicapped with very limited out side seating. Thankfully the weather was good. Once in you stood in a line to check in. There was no order as to who checked in first. I was the 3rd to arrive since I arrived the standard 15-20 minutes before my appointment but about the 15th to be checked in. The staff was friendly and seemed professional and organized. My problem was with Dr Smith. I felt that he was condescending and not very patient. He was using a very bright light to look into my eyes. There was no forewarning or suggestions on how I was to do this. It was a very hard task for me. I apologized repeatedly. Dr Smith said to me " If you can't look into the light how do you expect us to do the surgery?" I felt like as a failure as he failed to understand how difficult this was for me. He showed no compassion and I felt like I was wasting his time. I try hard to follow instructions and felt very upset when I left his office. Possibly Dr Smith could have given me instructions to make this process easier. He does it everyday ... me once in my lifetime. I will be looking for someone more compassionate to do my surgery ... that I will be paying for.

I have so enjoyed Dr. Morris and the entire staff. I was highly recommended by my fiancée Eddie Tart and his mother Rosia Smalley. This by far has been the best recommendation I received. I plan to make sure I add going to Pidcock Chiropractic yearly for maintenance. I enjoy walking in seeing Mrs. Patsy, Ms. Lisa, and Mrs. Patti. Then my journey takes me to Dr. Morris which hands me over to Ms. Amaya. I like how Mr. and Mrs. Pidcock makes time to come by the room and greets patients. I am down to going once a week now. I will miss the staff and seeing Dr. Morris three days a week. As I sit here, anxiously waiting for my procedure, I have to overhear the sarcastic responses to what I assume was the person on the phone questioning insurance copayments. "Insurance is only for the sickest incidents" is rude and pathetic. No one needs to hear about your insurance prowess, no one needs to hear about your opinions on student loan forgiveness or what you think of the current generation that was not as fortunate as you to put your two kids through school. These statements make people not want to patronize your establishment. When I returned to my surgeons office I voiced my concerns only to told that they have heard these complaints before. After getting checked in, you'll meet with a front person to go over offers. The woman was nice enough, however did not seem to know in depth about some of the more serious products/treatments. They do not have an actual MD in office. The Nurse Practitioner prescribes meds for patients. After going through which treatment you want(which I luckily did research before and knew what I wanted) you move forward to what I believe to be the phlebotomist. Fast forward to the actual person with a medical license (again, a Nurse Practitioner, not a Doctor). She didn't even take the time to sit down or get to know me, the "patient" that's about to shell out $500 a month, by the way. She rushed through the appt. Didn't go over side effects or benefits or anything really. It's ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend unless you truly have done research. After the appt. I read more about the treatment and there are SO MANY risks. I decided against it. What ever your weight loss journey is, just be careful and do your own research and fully know what you're getting into, because THIS PLACE WILL NOT PREPARE YOU ADEQUATELY.
