When I was called to the back, the assistant act like she's been sucking on lemons. No smiles, hellos, or nothing. Everybody seems depressed and tired with low energy. There has been a big turnover of staff. The staff before gave excellent care. I can see why the good staff left if they had to work with this group.

Afterwards, I responded with "yes, I prefer one". Then he continued with "we can't guarantee you will get a female". He then mumbled "I'll contact the VA". I asked him to repeat what he said. He responded with the before mentioned about contacting The VA. I couldn't believe what he said. Within 2 minutes I received a text stating my appointment was canceled. I've tried to call them several times to speak with another person or possibly the manager. I hope he's not the manager or the owner. I do understand people have bad days. Henceforth, he wasn't entirely professional with his eagerness to shun me off and cancel my appointment less than two minutes after me asking one question. I was unsuccessful in speaking with anyone after numerous calls. Therefore, I'm posting this review.

The procedure caused A five hour paralysis from the waist down, excruciating migraine headaches and nausea. The doctor was cruel accusatory and demeaning, refusing to reassure me that the condition was temporary and calling me dramatic and cowardly. His staff left me in the waiting room all day long unable to feel or relieve my bodily functions. By the end of the day when I was finally able to make it out the door I was saturated in my own urine still unable to feel my butt our groin area. No one offered to help me to my car, call for a ride or assist me in anyway. The doctor in fact verbally attacked me for quietly sobbing and calling for help on my phone in the waiting room for fear his other patients would realize the horrible situation he had created. Words cannot describe the calloused cruelty and lack of professionalism I experienced at Csra Pain Management from this doctor and I would caution anyone to avoid this reprehensible Third World type practice.

Afterward, I was told they would not process insurance at all because I self-paid. No one contacted me beforehand to explain this or give me options. Patients should be aware that there seem to be serious issues with insurance authorization, communication, and providing accurate information -- mistakes that can become very costly.
