Fabulous residential house fully converted into open space coffee shop in the downtown Alpharetta! Friendly staff. Clean - in fact very clean. Open space adds to the flair. Coffee are good bagels and pastries as well. In particular I would say why I like coming here is the quality of service and coffee choices. They regularly carry light roast coffee which is my go-to staple....

Delicious lattes (also top notch matcha not pictured here), pretty and cozy aesthetic, but had to give 4 stars just because parking is always chaotic and stressful. I know it's not really anyone's fault, especially being in a downtown area, but this is the tiniest, tightest parking lot ever for these busy local businesses that all have to share. Even with the parking lot and coffee house being as packed as it always is (at least every time I visit), I still find it worth it because of the quality of service and ingredients. Since I'm usually by myself, I can get away with squeezing in between others at one of the larger high top tables, but if you are coming with friends, colleagues, or family be warned that it may be quite difficult to find seating all together.

This is my go to coffee spot, not only do they make their syrups at home but also do seasonal lattes very well. It's hard to find coffee spots that have yummy treats/ breakfast and coffee both taste good. Brought my husband here and he loved his pumpkin spice latte. I've had the strawberry shortcake matcha a while back and recently had the maple pecan latte and chai latte, and both were so delicious

Food: I tried the strawberry matcha. It was decent. I wish, I could taste a hint of strawberry. Sevice: The store was busy. But, my order was taken and made within 15 minutes.. Not bad.. Ambiance: I love when coffee shops use old homes at their business! It was decorated nicely and it's very spacious inside.

    Cortado

This place is perfect for a morning coffee and breakfast for one or two people, but not for groups. I came here with three other people, and there was not enough seating for us to be able to sit together. I ordered a Cortado and a chocolate croissant. The ambiance was nice and relaxing, and the people at the counter were kind and efficient. We had trouble finding seats where my whole group would fit because it was so crowded, so we had to split up into two groups of two. The Cortado tasted very good and was pretty, and I could tell the coffee was quality. However, I couldn't taste as much honey as I was expecting. The chocolate croissant was good, but nothing extraordinary. Overall a nice place, but expect the possibility of little to no seating, especially for groups.

Chia seed, oatmeal and fresh fruit bowls for a yummy healthy snack!

Warm Waves is awesome! Here's what to love: - Coffee. Duh! Great strong coffee. Plant based milk options for the health conscious. - Refresher drinks. Not in the mood for coffee? They have these "Refesher" drinks that combine coconut water and green tea extract (super healthy!) With some yummy fruit combinations. I went for the strawberry-acai combo bc they were out of dragonberry-elderberry. And no added sugar so super hydrating and not calorie overload. - lots of seating options. They have small tables, a long community table, couches, comfy chairs and even a sun drenched sunroom! Love all the different seating options here. - Snacks. Yeah, most coffee shops offer those yummy pastry and baked goods and WW has those but what sets them apart are the healthy chia bowls. Love having a healthy option.

The coffee shop is BEAUTIFUL! Lots of seating was alittle packed when I went on a weekday morning. The staff are very sweet and quick. I got the berry and cream latte (I think it was called) , off of their seasonal menu and it just wasn't a hit for me. The cold foam on top was delicious but the latte itself with the mixed berry syrup tastes like cough syrup. I couldn't get through it. Latte was beautiful though. I hope to be back and try out something different. Parking was limited may have to park alittle farther and walk.

Trendy, warm environment and a place with good energy!

When you need a cup of Joe, swing by Warm Waves Coffee House in downtown Alpharetta! You will feel the positive energy in room and the casual atmosphere just relaxes you, even if you are having some caffeine. I have a true appreciation for atmosphere and this place is one of the coolest coffee shops to hangout with friends! Beautifully designed with many different comfy chairs, tables and sitting areas to slow down the pace of life and be in the moment! We ordered a small coffee and a matcha! Both items were especially great! They do serve some pastries and other food items. Very impressed with the friendly, efficient staff!

Pumpkin pie latte, wow!!! Can only take a pic of the empty cup because I drank it all , absolutely amazing. This place makes all its syrups and flavors from scratch, and my coffee reflected that. Delicious.

    Miranda C.

Great place to hangout and have a drink/ food! I tried their matcha and it was great! It's an order at the counter type of place! They have inside and outside seating! Their pastries looked great I'll have to return and try those!

At this point, it is probably clear that I am an avocado toast fanatic. Their toast is the perfect size for a work lunch with a generous amount of avocado, and the cilantro and chives are a nice touch to add complexity. The cafe is always quite crowded, and there are limited outlets. The WiFi, however, is fast enough for work. If you don't mind the crowd and the background music, this place is perfect to visit on a sunny day!

    Summer Menu

Yeaasss!! I lve a good coffee shop and Zoe provided good customer service with great recommendations such as the Pins Colatte from the Summer Menu, I must admit this would not have been my choice espresso mixed with pineapple juice, but I'm glad I'm open to recommendations because this was a good recommendation. Thanks, Zoe The Pina Colatte is iced with espresso , pineapple juice and coconut cold foam this tasted a lot better than I thought it would. A very refreshing drink for you coffee lovers who are looking for something a little different than your normal. Also ordered a Peach basil iced tea, very peachy however, I would have loved to have tasted more basil. I could not really taste the basil. Last i had a sip of my husbands Cappuccino and yes this is simple BUT this cappuccino was great later we reheated, due to not drinking it right away creamy and smooth!! Warm waves roast their own coffee and they make their own simple syrups and have been in business meeting the milestone of 3 years I say 3-year milestone because being a restaurant owner myself it's hard for businesses to make it to the 3-year mark. So congratulations to you! I did order a mini blueberry loaf. I wasn't a big fan but baked goods are about preference and I have a preference of baked bread loaves to be a little more on the moist side. OJ and applejuice serves in glass xontainera to go and made by a company Human Kind which was created to end the water crisis. I still haven't tried the juices so I can't report on that yet but I'm sure the juices are good based upon experience and packaging Seriously!! The place looks like a house off of a busy street. Parking is in the back next to two other restaurants and a new gelato place. A great place to unwind, meet up with friends, or handle some business. Im a fan

Walked over from next door to get a coffee while we waited for a table. An interesting place that has a good sized interior and nice atmosphere. There was no line and 4 people working behind the counter. We walked up and waited. Then we waited some more... and a little more... no one even acknowledged us. We stood there waiting to order and not even a "we'll be right with you". I mean they wouldn't even look at us... like if they didn't see us, but they saw us for sure, we didn't exist. It was really strange. We stood there for a good time until one of the ladies finally said hello to us and apologized for the wait. Just some advice... acknowledge everyone immediately. Let them know you are busy and you will be right with them... it helps with the waiting! I ordered a latte, my wife ordered an Americana and they both came out quickly. I hate to say it but my wife didn't like her coffee and my latte was just ok. The prices weren't bad... and the place was nice, but overall our experience was just ... meh.

Their location near the entrance caught my attention, and I especially appreciated that they were serving pour-over coffee on site--a nice touch that sets them apart. I've enjoyed their coffee and hospitality for several years, but only recently visited their brick-and-mortar location off State Bridge Road in Johns Creek. The shop is tucked away in a hidden retail center that could certainly use some redevelopment someday, but that's a story for another time. Cloudland Coffee is truly a standout business in the center and well worth seeking out. Over the past few months, I've stopped in regularly for a cup of coffee and to purchase freshly roasted beans. My favorite so far has been their Honduras Dark Roast, which offers a smooth, rich flavor profile and is roasted to perfection. I was also pleased to learn that Cloudland is a locally owned business--something I always enjoy supporting, especially when the product and service are exceptional. Do yourself a favor and visit Cloudland Coffee at the Alpharetta Farmers Market or stop by their Johns Creek location.
