I brought an acquaintance…read morehere because I've seen this spot listed in several local publications and voted to be a great spot to try. After a nice park walk we came in on a Saturday. The inside is on the smaller side but in a cozy sense. Immediately upon entering we were greeted and welcomed. The staff were very friendly and inviting. They recommended items and explained them to us. Parking was easy at the time we went but can get tricky as the day goes on. We were there in the early am so it wasn't packed thankfully. When they delivered the food I was a tad shocked by the presentation. My potatoes, eggs and bacon came delivered on a metal pizza pan with parchment paper. Now it threw me off because I've never seen that and I expected it on a plate. The potatoes had been soaking in grease that didn't appear clean as the potatoes were tiny cut and dark. They also simply tasted of grease. The eggs were scrambled with not much to be desired and the bacon was good. The meal left me underwhelmed and needing to go get an actual meal after we left. Also the utensils were plastic. The experience gave more of food truck vibes than cute little cafe. I had a smoothie which I enjoyed. Although I don't after that I would come back if I did it would only be for a beverage. I was confused because I remember seeing the menu and it mentioned scrum-did-dly-ump-tious so I thought it would be a more southern well seasoned country style and it was more bland fast food style.

The pancakes are delicious and fluffy. The wings are to die for...hot, tender (bones just fall out) and yum! I've had the croissant bacon, egg & avocado sandwich; shrimp and grits too. Still superb! I love that we have something available to us in Gwinnett that feels more like Buckhead/Midtown fare.

I didn't have a reservation, but there were only a handful of people ahead of me, making the wait completely unreasonable. Once seated at the bar, things only got worse. The bartender and several employees came across as if they didn't want to be there. Customer service was practically nonexistent. I ordered chicken wings and they were so disappointing that I didn't even eat a single wing. What made it even more frustrating was that the bartender never once asked how my food was or whether everything was satisfactory. Instead, he repeatedly tried to upsell me on other items and drinks. A restaurant can survive mediocre food if the service is exceptional, but when both are poor, there's no reason to come back. Empty tables, long waits, indifferent staff, and terrible food made this one of the worst dining experiences I've had!

We arrived around 11 am and just in time before there were zero seats outside. The Hostesses, the server and runners were very friendly. Very great service! The food did not disappoint either! I had the hash dish and some of the huge pancake the hubby ordered. The pancake was basically a cake round, I took a bite when the hubs was at the last quarter of it and it was actually still pretty hot! It was good. It looked 1.5-2" thick and 2 pieces. To me that is suitable to split amongst 8 people. The hash was delicious. Tiny roasted veg topped with your style of eggs. I chose sunny side and it was a perfect pour right into the dish. There were also 2 medium round Idaho potatoes, yum! Most definitely without a doubt will be returning.

Elevated dining (think linen tablecloths and chandeliers), I saw a lovely outdoor courtyard eating space but we ate lunch in their dining room. Pour that on with the butter, now that's a good thought. They need something to make it stand out. I tried the shrimp and grits. First thing first, don't get this dish if you're really hungry. They bring it out in a really big bowl and it's just a little bit.. the chicken sausage is cut up whole like chopped hotdogs. It really looks lazy and unappealing. The flavor wasn't bad, not great, but not nasty. Nothing special at all. Now for the restaurant itself (decor), I liked it. I think it's a great setting for lunch indoors or outdoors. I'd try them again for dinner to see if it's better, but going back for brunch, not likely.

I can't say much for the food nor drinks, as I only got a bagel with cream cheese. But what I can say about it is that it's quite basic, especially for a whopping $5. I feel bad for judging on such a minor item on their menu because it feels like they threw that on the menu just to appease the masses. It just irks me the wrong way to charge so much for something that is clearly just store bought. Otherwise, I do love this cafe. I will try more items and I definitely do recommend it. As for the bagel and cream cheese thing? Perhaps make your own cream cheese. Super simple to make. And definitely charge less on it I do wish you all the best!

Parking is shared with the patrons from the gas station, as well as the other tenants in the shopping center. The location can get busy at times, but the service is great regardless. The price for items is well worth it in my opinion given the portion size and the flavor.
