Nice treat on a hot day. Got the 1 scoop and 1 doggy ice cream for about 10 bucks. The cookie dough flavor is yummy. Can't really go wrong with ben & jerry's. Our doggy enjoyed it. He also got a big water bowl that we enjoyed outside under the shade. Very cozy. Owner was super nice! read more

This Ben & Jerry's location is located right in the heart of the "Big Bear Village" next do a bunch of the little souvenir shops and has an entrance inside of this little shopping center style thing, no idea what to call it honestly. This location half the case blocked off, but who cares, it's a god forsaken Ben & Jerry's so they still had plenty of flavours I wanted. I settled on getting a chocolate sprinkles covered cone with chocolate chip cookie dough and whatever the blue cookieish one was, I don't know, my memory of flavours sucks. The girls working were quick and had me in and out quickly....and obviously the ice cream was delicious. Wandered in here after an early dinner. It was EMPTY on a Friday, but so was the whole town. Luckily I went in when I did because the cashier said they were going to close down early since it was a slow day. I tried Coffee Buzz in Palm Springs a few weeks ago and got it again on this day. Waffle cone tasted great as did the coffee flavored ice cream. Would recommend for dessert in Big Bear but call before you make a trip here because they just might be closed if it's a slow day. read more

If only I could give zero stars. Being a Ben & Jerry's, I didn't even think I needed to read reviews before deciding to get some ice cream. In retrospect, I wish I would have checked Yelp first. After our horrible experience here, I came here to see what others here are saying and there's definitely no surprises. After reading reviews about the owner, we first hand experienced horrible service and maybe even a bit racist treatment. After waiting patiently in line, we watched the families in front of us get samples of ice cream. When it came our turn, my son asked for a sample and was told that they weren't doing samples at the moment by the owner. Seriously, the people right in front of us were just given samples. Let's just say the people in front of us were not Asians like ourselves. And by the way we were looked at and told samples were not being given, you can use your own imagination as to why we were told that. Anyhow, we were not going to stick around and support business owners like this so we decided to leave. What a waste of time. On the way out, we noticed the political propaganda posted around the establishment. All I can say is stay away if you want good service and to be treated with dignity and that I'll never be back here again. BTW, they are makes as "Staff wears masks" which is also not true. read more

The lady that works, there is a total bitch! The lady said no samples at my dad for even asking. She get more angry for every item we added And said they don't have bags which is a bit weird. her tone of voice in the way that she carried herself shows that she doesn't care about the customers, or her job. This ice cream shop is outstanding. Our helper today was Kaity, and she was so friendly and helpful. The store itself has a really cool look to it, with different rooms and doors and just looks so modern and clean. I took a few photos. They also have so many different types of ice cream, including vegan, gluten free, and non-dairy. Lots of interesting flavors as well. We ordered two sundaes one with coffee and vanilla and the other was the Cherry Garcia in a waffle. I got mine with hot fudge and whipped cream. We both totally enjoyed them. Kaity was great. We talked about Big Bear and photography and she simply was a joy. Try this place when you come to Big Bear. It is awesome! read more

I stopped by a few days ago just to get out of the house . Let's just say it was a "ghost town" I was warmly greeted by owner Tim. He was very kind & friendly and attentive. I was quite surprised to see his business open in lieu of the pandemic . I'm pretty confident that if this crisis didn't happen business would be booming for him. I absolutely love ice cream so I asked him for 2 of his recommendations and added the waffle bowl . The 2 flavors were a strawberry cheese cakes and a salted caramel I believe.. overall it was amazing !! Idc what day it may be or season there's always room for ice cream!! We chatted briefly and I am looking forward into coming back and exploring more places to indulge in once this current crisis ends. His store front was very clean with nice decor . We love to stop in at this Ben & Jerry's location while visiting Big Bear. In my experience, the selection and quality of the ice cream has yet to be beat in the area. Last night, we were having a delicious dinner a few doors down at Saucy Mama's and cut it short when we realized the the yelp page for this location said it closed at 9pm. We hurried down to find that the door were locked and lights were out at 8:44pm. I see several other reviews stating the same - I would not recommend getting your hopes up for some tasty ice cream as you may arrive to find them closed. read more

I feel like for what we paid I could have gotten a couple of pints and a box of waffle cones for the same amount and would have gotten a better experience. They had a lot of employees taking orders down the line, and were friendly when we asked for samples for my toddler, who is allergic to dairy, to try.
