Went to renaissance hotel and this place is conveniently located next to the hotel. Lots and lots of shops in this area .. love the vibe in and around this place . Lots of space outside to sit and eat and they had some space inside .. parking is crazy . Tough to get parking closer to this ice cream shop. We had to park 5 mins away and walk to this place . Good service .. My kid liked the ice cream . Lots of flavors and it tastes fresh and good. A little bit pricey but ok , once in a while . They give in cup, cones or waffle cones . Free Cone Day at North Hills, is the reason I went to Ben & Jerry's. My son isn't necessarily a Ice Cream person but I enjoy eating ice cream when it's available so I did. When I first arrived the line was literally wrapped around the corner but the line moved quickly. They were offering a 10% off card with any donation and $5 free pass to the front. I didn't see a lot of people take up on this offer because the staff was moving just that quick with making the cones. They had face painting and one of the workers came out and put on the show for the kids with her colorful fabric it was really cute. They were very interactive with the kids while we waited which made it interesting. Also, while I stood in line my son was able to play on the lawn and he loved every minute of it. I ended up ordering the Jimmy Fallon ice cream and my son got plain chocolate. He had about 2 licks and he was over it. So. Yes! I ate 2 ice cream cones. The store was really clean and the bathrooms were clean too; which was great considering all of the traffic they were getting. The parking is kind of hassle in north hills if you are trying park on the main level but there is plenty of parking in the back parking lot near JCPenney and at the bottom near target. My husband just got (4/16/21 @ 8pm) me this cup of chocolate and cherry Garcia ice cream and even though I didn't ask for toppings it came with the longest strand of hair . I hate leaving bad reviews (especially for my favorite Ice Cream place) but I need to do this if not for anything so it won't happen again. Please if you have long hair pull it back into a bun or have it a net. This is disgusting and a waste of 7 dollars because I am not going to be eating this. read more

If you are reading this review today on August 25th, it is national banana split day, fitting for the review I'm about to give lol. I went to the Ben and Jerry's location yesterday with my boyfriend. We shared a humongous banana split and it was delicious. It was a Friday afternoon when I stopped by so as you can imagine it was a bit busy. The plus side about this location is that they have seats on the inside of their location and a couple of tables and benches up front and a green area on the side, so definitely a place big enough for the entire family. The banana split we shared was amazing. The employee had asked us if we wanted to do a traditional banana split or mix it up with fun flavors. We stuck to the traditional vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, but next time I am so coming in for their notorious cookie dough flavor! While I love the ice cream here, I am obsessed with their hot fudge. It's probably some of the best in the area. I could eat it out of a tub no problem and be perfectly happy. I also have the biggest sweet tooth of all time so you can understand where I'm coming from here. Overall my experience here was great. The staff was fast, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant was clean and had various seats throughout the property. Definitely a location I will visit again! read more

I like Ben & Jerry's ice cream in general. It is on the pricier side, but their unique flavors makes up for that, and I've enjoyed most of the flavors I've tried. My favorites are Chunky Monkey and really anything with cookie dough chunks. This location in particular is pretty convenient, but the space is small. There is plenty of seating outdoors if the weather is nice, but not much space inside. Depending on how busy of a day it is in the area, parking can be an issue, but there is generally ample parking space in the underground parking deck. read more

If you are in North Hill's and want to grab some ice cream after dinner, Ben & Jerry's is a great option. Normally I'd prefer to go to a local shop, but if you are already in North Hills this classic ice cream shop does not disappoint. The employees are always friendly and they stock a ton of flavors. I have to go non-dairy for a bit and they had two non-dairy options in store which I appreciated. I ended up going with the non-dairy cookie dough since it was chock fill of cookie dough. If you've never had their non-dairy ice cream, it is made with almond milk, it does have a bit of an after taste in my opinion. But, if you can't have dairy, it is still a great option. My husband went with the caramel blondie flavor and enjoyed it. On my most recent visit I saw they started using wooden spoons and have phased out single use plastic spoons in their store. I think this is awesome! Definitely something all ice cream shops should transition on over to. read more
