1st time caller and THISSSSSS was delicious! The custard here is on par with my standard of quality custard, and I was pleasantly surprised. I expected to like it and ended up loving it-- so much so that the hubs and I didn't take the 24 minute drive out to my usual favorite custard/concrete spot. In cahoots with my girlfriend, Goodberry's made me fat again lol. True story. This is my girlfriend's favorite ice cream shop. We've been to almost every location multiple times...actually we have been way too many times. I'd be ashamed if I checked my credit card for how much we spent here in 2023 and 2024. I've had most items on the menu. My go to is the brownie sundae, warmed up! The shortcake sundae, also warmed up--but every time I ask them they say no one has ever asked for that but I do it every time. The banana split is a legit banana split and will fill you up. This location is in Cameron village. Depending on when you go, parking might be hard to find. There's usually a line and there are a lot of college kids coming and going here. This is the only location that has an indoor area and it's very true to their style of being a 50ish old school diner ice cream shop. read more

OK, where do I start? If I ever came across my worst most evil enemy in the world, I would take them and force feed them Goodberry's, frozen custard. But let's get back to my experience. I entered the restaurant and no one would greet me. On top of this it smelled like a sewer had exploded and coated every single wall. To make matters worse, one of the customers was walking around with no undergarments and everything was showing. Clearly there is no standard for Professionalism in this establishment. I walked in and the worker working at the register was reading wattpad. How do I know she was reading this you ask? Well, she was reading it out loud. As I stepped up to the counter, I noticed a little drool on her cheek. I placed my very simple order, one brownie sundae. Next thing you know, she told me my total was $10. I felt bile buildup in my throat, what the hell is worth $10. With my heart beating out of my chest and my blood pressure rising I stepped away from the counter in awe. I don't know if it was the smell in the room or the fact I was just robbed of all my money, but something was just off. After a modest wait, my ice cream arrived. My daughter was with me and she ordered a soda float. When her order came out the rude evil worker spilled it on the table. The worker scoffed and left back to wattpad. I took one bite of my custard. Out of the corner of my eye I see that inconsiderate customers headlights staring at me. The custard was gross. That's the only way to put it. The texture was horrible. It had icicles in it. And then it's spilt over my daughter aloe sweatsuit. Now I didn't think this could get worse, but my daughter asked me what is squirting? That was my final straw. I was about to explode but I decided not to. I stormed out of the store. It's Christmas time at the time of writing this and the only thing I ask is that good berries frozen custard goes bankrupt. They got me to come in with the Pumpkin, Flavor of the Day today. We did not care for it. We brought it home and added fresh nutmeg and cinnamon which was an improvement. Flavors tend to be subtle, so double the syrup or get fruit. The pecans are an excellent add-in, and the basics are a good bet: Oreos, Butterfinger, Heath, etc. I don't recommend the caramel sauce at all, which I tried based on someone else's recommendation here; it is thick and bland. The 'Cherry Coke' float is not made with cherry syrup - it's the off-the-shelf version. Lines can get long but service was very quick. All in all, it's still a fun place to go, especially during warmer seasons, and I do appreciate them being one of the few places still open in the 10pm - midnight time period. After today's visit, and with so many frozen treat alternatives, I don't think it's worth the calories and will leave this to younger patrons. read more

I love ice cream, I love Coldstone, Andy's, Culvers... those are my standards. This, is not what I call I've cream. It's watery, runny, and should not be called custard. It was so busy when we came, and I don't really know why. Glad we got to try it, but we won't be back. My husband's peanut butter fudge cookie dough was better, but again runny. They do have a plethora of options, so I was super excited to get bing cherries in mine. read more

The paper cups caused the frozen custard to melt very rapidly, to the point where the product was nearly ruined by the time we received it. I Specifically asked for a smaller-size Styrofoam cup - the kids version, because that is the only size that is insulated. I received my order in the paper cup, and it was already more than half melted within the few minutes. I took it back to the counter and told them why I had asked for the Styrofoam cup. I said it was OK if they did give me less frozen custard. The worker said they would fix it and proceeded to return with the same thing in the same paper cup. I had to ask for a Styrofoam cup and transfer it, myself, at the service counter. I could understand if the frozen custard was inexpensive, however, when do you pay a premium price for a product, you should get what you ask - and pay- for, and be able to enjoy it properly, not in a ruined state. When frozen, we do enjoy the frozen custard at Goodberry's. We also appreciate You it when the service is decent. read more

The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance is a just a little froyo place but the sitting outside is nice. The mini almond Sunday hit the spot and was pretty fairly priced around 6$. I struggled to decide on what I want, but the gentleman who was serving us waited patiently (we were the only customers in the line at that time) until I made up on my mind. I like ice cream in a cup, so I took my time to place an order. I decided to have a mini vanilla custard with peaches and strawberries. I wasn't sure on the peaches, but who knew that was the choice of my day!! The custard was slightly pinkish red from strawberry juice, which I loved it because vanilla is pretty plain for me. Peaches were soft but not too mushy soft :) it was simply perfect. I love love love it! I don't like chain ice cream places, but I've always had good experiences with Goodberrys.
