It could not be any less than 5 stars for Free Cone Day at Ben and Jerry's. I indulged in a Chocolate Fudge Brownie cone. Excellent! There is a donation basket(not a tip basket) as Ben and Jerry's always picks a charity to help. This year it's Second Heart Homes. This charity build permanent homes for people who are unhoused in the Sarasota area. As I sat outside the shop, I was completely surprised at the number of people who said "no thanks" for FREE Ben and Jerry's cone! It's great ice cream. read more

If you love Ben and Jerry's ice cream this is the place for you. This premier ice cream parlor is located right on st Armand's circle in Sarasota. The store has a clean and fresh ambiance to it and one of the highlights is that you can try the different flavors of ice cream before you buy. The people who work there are friendly and seem to be enjoying themselves. This place is especially popular with kids and families. There is stiff competition for ice cream on the circle, and while this is not my favorite, I do appreciate it being there. read more

Delicious ice cream We like ice cream, and with our granddaughter visiting we have a great excuse to made ice cream runs, this time to St Armands. We stopped in last night at Ben & Jerry's, one of our favorite places. A short line gave us just enough time to decide what to get, for me their Cherry Garcia. This iconic flavor, which I don't often get, really was a winner for me this time. The helpful ice cream scoopers did well keeping the line moving. The indoor sitting area has only a few tables and was kind of a mess for our visit. Most people get their treat and head outside anyway. Stopped in to Ben & Jerry's on St. Armand's Circle in Sarasota on a Monday night. Not busy as it was almost closing. I tried a handful of flavors. They were just all okay to me. Finally tried the butterscotch which is one I never have and it was my scoop of choice. I really don't have a love for Ben and Jerry's. I go back but def not a fav. The one I picked, I did like the chunks of stuff in it. I've been to Ben and Jerry's in Clearwater and Tampa and Same thing. Meh. Area has tables inside. I don't remember about outside but there's tons of benches around the Circle. I say pass but to me the options were better than Kilwins. read more

A hot fudge sundae usually includes hot fudge, a couple of generous scoops of ice-cream, and whipped cream. At this St Armand's Circle location, that didn't prove to be true. The sundae was described as hot fudge (both on the menu on the wall and on the receipt), but in fact, there was no hot fudge - merely chocolate syrup. Then to make matters worse, the two scoops of ice cream were decidedly small - for for $9.61 + tax ($10.28 total) one would expect generous scoops. But at this particular Ben & Jerry's, the hot fudge sundae was an expensive disappointment. Despite having Ben & Jerry's standard ice-cream, this sundae was both a poor value and a case of bait-and-switch ... leaving this reviewer frustrated and angry. read more

This was my first and last time experiencing a cone at Ben and Jerry's. The ice cream was amazing and delicious but also very expensive. $17 for two cones! Ekk! I'll stick to buying my pint at the grocery store thank you very much. The service was extremely slow. I'm glad they were enforcing the mask wearing but there was no social distancing in their tiny store. Absolutely love this location!! A must do whenever I visit St. Armands. Once you go inside, you are immersed in the delightful aroma of waffle cones and chocolate... it smells absolutely AMAZING!! The line was long the times I have been, but it moves super fast. The workers are efficient and so friendly. I really appreciate how they offer dairy free ice cream, it still is so rare to find today in other ice cream stores. Not only do they offer it, but it is also so delicious, and the flavor and consistency is that of normal ice cream. Only took off one star because it is a bit pricey. I visited this amazing Ben & Jerry's yesterday, Oct 4th, with my 4 children. The ice cream and milk shakes were amazing and the service was top notch! and to make it even better, they gave us our entire order for Free! They said they were giving back to the community that suffered Hurricane Ian. LOVE THIS PLACE EVEN MORE NOW! We drove up from Ft myers to escape the craziness and their kindness meant the world to us. We had just waited in line at Kilwins and as we approached the counter to order, they said it would be cash only which was a bummer + no operating atm near by. They said we could not Venmo them or anything and they couldn't fill our order:( So we tried our luck at Ben & Jerry's which we were so happy to find and not only did they say they took credit cards but that the ice cream was free. It's spring break and what better way to celebrate than with ice cream! Kilwins is the go to on St Arms Circle but the line was way too long so Ben and Jerry's it was. The ice cream was good by the service was rush and felt discriminatory. We were ask our order then they lost patience out the gate as my niece is soft spoken, especially hard with a mask. The pushed us down the line and proceeded with two other groups, almost forgetting my sons order! We ask three times about it and the plastic dividers might as well have been a wall. Went back next night to complain...man at the door was an ass...wanted me to produce a receipt...who keeps a receipt for an ice cream cone???? YUMMO!!!! After stopping off at Kilwin's Michael wanted a sweets treat for himself. We cruised on into Ben & Jerry's. I'm bummed they aren't in more places. Anyway he had the coconut seven layer bar ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle come. He also ordered a latte. Just FYI if you want sweeteners you have to ask them for them. They have them, but they keep them behind the counter. They weren't super busy while we were there, but for being such a touristy spot I must say the employees were very friendly and patient with us. There isn't a lot of space inside though so on a busy day or night I could definitely tell they get crowded. I swear, this is what heaven smells like. Waffle cones. If they only gave you a free puppy with every scoop. You know their ice cream is outstanding...you don't need me to tell you that. What you may not know, is how amazing their service is. We were on a week-long vacation, and came in almost every night (don't judge me, I was on vacation). No matter how busy they were, the ladies were smiling, pleasant, and quick. Here..have a tip! They were offering tastes, options, etc. I love a business that employs happy people. Food: Hello, dairy-free ice cream! Vegans, rejoice! They have the peanut butter and cookies flavor available at this location. They also offer comes and toppings, but be sure to ask for vegan friendly options. I just had a cup by itself. Three sizes to choose from, and the child size was more than filling for me. Delicious. Amazing ice cream! We always buy the pint-sized Ben & Jerry's ice cream at the grocery store, but we decided to go here after dinner last night. The place is very cutely decorated and the staff are very friendly. I had the Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream which was so DELICIOUS! I wish it wasn't seasonal. My boyfriend had the Candy Bar flavor which was also extremely good. I really think Ben & Jerry's ice cream really is the best of the best. Definitely recommend! read more

Nice location, clean shop with great staff. Parking in the area can be a challenge, especially during "season", but for a B&J this scoop shop hits the mark. I'm from VT and grew up near the factory, we travel a lot and for fun find B & J's on our travels. It's always nice to see how different each one is, while staying true to the company core values and message. You can smell the waffle cones slyly lurking into the neighboring stores! We ordered a small chocolate dipped cone with one scoop and a large 9oz cup, totaling $12. Today I had the unfortunate occurrence of having my grandfather once again commenting on my weight, larger size, and appearance. While on vacation in Sarasota, we had an hour before our flight was to leave so we drove around to a place called St. Armand's key. There are a lot of cute little overpriced boutiques and fancy restaurants with a beach nearby. So we were driving around and I wanted to stop at a favorite place of mine, Ben & Jerry's for a cone of ice cream. Now as innocent as that is my aunt who was driving knew what might happen if I ask so she warned me but told me to go ahead and ask and we'd go if it was okay with my grandfather. I came to terms with asking because I knew how much his comments hurt but I thought he had matured considering the last occasion. During a family gathering he told me to pull up my shirt and let them see how fat I was because I had been enjoying my food. The entire family got very upset at him and I started crying and it hurt my self esteem for years. My grandfather breathed in very quickly and said "Oh sure, that's fine. But you can only get a small considering how much you need to watch your figure." And before I knew it I was out of the car and hastily walking towards Ben & Jerry's. I walked in and was rather upset. I looked up to the girl behind the counter and was about to tell her that I just needed a minute but what came out was "I need a minute to cool down, I was just told I needed to get a small because I need to watch my figure and yeah I'm kinda heated about it." The girl had on a blue knit beanie holding back curly brown hair. She immediately had a face of distaste. "Woah, that is entirely just- woah, so inappropriate." I nodded and told her I agreed. She went on to say "Okay well you look amazing and you should just get like the largest size now." I laughed and said I should but it was much too big for me. I ordered and while she made my cone I picked up a little blue 2$ bracelet to add to my order. When I got to the cash register she said the bracelet was a gift and only charged me for the ice cream and herself for the bracelet. Although it was just a little bracelet, and wasn't much at all, the one little act made my day entirely better. So Dear Ben & Jerry's of Sarasota worker with the brown hair and blue beanie, thank you. Your act of kindness made my day entirely better and every time now I look at my bracelet I'll smile and remember you and your kind words. Thank you so much, my self esteem has taken so many blows like this one but you kept it from causing damage. :) read more

I love their ice cream and the many options we have to choose from. I love it even more in their waffle cone when its crunchy and fresh made. Soooooo Good!!!
