I'm so disappointed that I forgot to take a picture; however, I was so excited to eat my Pralines and Cream and Cookie Monster that I completely overlooked it. Needing a quick sweet treat while on Anna Maria Island, we were led to Two Scoops, a cool little spot across the street from a coastal area. The storefront sells a little bit of everything from chips and candy to hot dogs, coffees, and breakfast sandwiches. But the true attraction is the ice cream. I can't say whether it's homemade or outsourced (like Blue Bell). What I CAN say is that if it is, I HAVE to find it. The raspberry sorbet, coffee crunch, and Cookie Monster were all raved about, but it was my Pralines and Cream that shocked me as the best I've ever had. At the end of the day, Handels is still my front runner and will be difficult to beat as many have tried and come close. But Two Scoops has made its mark in our travels and couldn't recommend it more. read more

Awesome place to cool off & grab "two scoops" to beat the heat! It's your typical ice cream spot but the lines run super fast so don't let the line out the door deter you. Almost every time I visit AMI, I make a stop at Two Scoops (because is it really a beach trip, if you don't get ice cream?). One thing I love about this place is the endless ice cream flavors. My personal go-to is typically chocolate chip cookie dough, but I have also branched out and tried the sea salt caramel ice cream-both equally delicious. Not to mention, the brownie sundae is so yummy and most definitely sharable. With its location right next to the pier, I enjoy that you can take your ice cream to go and soak up the beauty of the island or sit inside to cool off in the AC. I have yet to try any of Two Scoops' breakfast or lunch options, but I would like to test some out on my next visit to the island. read more

My wife and I absolutely love this cute little restaurant on beautiful, historic Anna Maria Island! Between our family of 12 we had just about every floor, everyone exclaiming that their cone was the best they'd ever had. A few of us opted to stop in for breakfast one morning for their breakfast sandwiches and a waffle. The waffle is nothing shy from the way they're made at standard hotels, but its delightful exterior crisp and interior chewiness was exactly what our family was craving. But honestly, the real shining star here was the Two Scoops McMuffin with sausage. The sausage is not spicy at all, so share away with your little one, and every piece of the sandwich from the egg to the cheese is perfectly cooked, warmed, and melted together. All three of us inhaled our sandwiches, you will too. They do have lunch options as well, and though we didn't try any, if the rest of their menu is any indication, I'm sure the menu is fabulous. Finally, and most importantly, the staff there is incredibly friendly and helpful. Every single time we visited we were greeted warmly and helped immediately. Came here to try their delicious ice cream and got their raspberry pie ice cream, two scoops on their waffle cone, WOW delicious! I HIGHLY recommend it. I was a bit hungry after taking a ride around the island so I also got their grilled cheese and it was pretty big and good. Prices are very reasonable for the food and service. The staff is friendly and fast. They have a lot of fun candy and snacks. Parking might be a bit tough depending on the day and time but if you keep checking you will find one. They accept cash & cc's. A few tables around to enjoy your food and ice cream. They also have some benches outside and you can take a walk on the pier with your ice cream if you like. Outstanding. The husband got a waffle cone with 1 scoop of Gator Tracks Ice Cream and 1 scoop of Mint Chip Ice Cream. The Gator Tracks is vanilla ice cream loaded with brownies, Reese's Cups, and a fudge swirl. His other scoop was mint ice cream loaded with chocolate chips. He loved it. Probably one of the best ice cream spots I have ever tried! Two scoops has a great combination of fun new flavors as well as classics. I wasn't in the mood for ice cream when I first stepped into the store, but I ended up wishing I bought a bigger size after trying the strawberry.
