What a great idea having this Ben & Jerry's next to a B good. I've been to this location couple of times and it's always been clean. The staff here were friendly. They don't have the most expansive flavor menu, but they do offer several dairy free alternatives. This brand is a huge chain at this point so I see what other people mean by the smaller portion sizes. If I compare this to my local ice cream stand, the portion sizing leave something to be desired. Overall, this is a solid option for dessert, especially if you find yourself in the situation of finishing dinner and having limited options in the area with later hours. Daughter and her friend have gluten allergies. They went to free come day at 2:30pm right after school. There was no line and many workers and volunteers. They were told they could not accommodate any allergies today due to the crowds. (They would have needed to open a new ice cream and get a new scoop). If there WAS a crowd I could understand. I've been there at 6pm when the line wrapped around the building (especially one where the weather was 75 and sunny like it was today). I LOVE Ben & Jerry's. Seriously, no matter what flavor you prefer, I believe you can never go wrong. The portions here are generous (about two large scoops) for a small, but it does get pricy. It ran me about $8 for a small with no toppings, which is about the price for a pint of B&J's that you get at the grocery store. However, the ice cream was so delicious, and the staff is lovely. There is ample seating at this location, including plenty of outdoor seating for the warmer days. We came here on a weekend in a party of 10, and the staff was super efficient and accommodating, and we were able to get served in about 5 minutes, which was awesome. I got the chocolate peanut butter flavor, which was so delicious. Such a convenient location off of Route 9 plus amazing service + ice cream? It really can't get better than that! read more

Pros: -Large portion sizes -- Short line around 6:30PM on a Sunday. Small Milk & Cookies with Hot Fudge ($6.50, June 2019) Huge portion of ice cream--probably at least a half a pint. Compared to JP Licks' pricing (a small is close to $5 and less than half the size of this), this was an awesome deal. The hot fudge was not actually hot but it was my favorite part as it wasn't overly sweet. Milk & Cookies isn't my favorite B&J flavor as it's basically cookies and cream with some chocolate chip cookies added in. I split this portion with my partner but really felt overloaded with sugar by the end. Next time I'd opt for one of their chocolate based ice creams. read more

Oct2022: 4: I would recommend visiting this store location and these working store members today. I was in this area with my spouse who observed the sign as we passed on our way to the grocery store. She remembered that it was behind us so we searched for the address and found this location as we returned to our hotel room. I observed that the area has handicapped parking areas available with ramp access spots. The location is co-located with other large commercial names. The entryway is fairly large and capable of handling a wheelchair. This is a decent location with easy access to and from the roadway. There are plenty of regular parking spaces in the immediate area capable of accommodating larger crew cab trucks and SUVs. The workers inside were friendly and competent while we were being advised on our selection of treats. They greeted us upon entering the store. I observed that there was a restroom available for use. Both of the workers were celebrating birthdays (we overheard) as I was celebrating mine by getting the large dessert ice cream and cookies. My spouse is watching her weight and I am not, so biggie one for me!! Oh and baby one for her..lol My spouse loves pictures so we took one with the cut out of course. My special order arrived as I ordered it. My spouse's order was also as she wanted it. She enjoyed the flavor of her selection to the last bit on the spoon. I liked mine a bit less than she did. I anticipated that the cookies were better tasting than they were. They tasted as if it was a commercial cookie and not one that was "fresh" in taste nor one as shown in the pictures on the menu in the store. This was the only slight that I had as everything else was ok. My spouse did say it was too much whipped cream and not enough ice cream. Personally prefer coldstone over B&Js for the flavor of the ice cream and taste. Ordered banana split with chocolate therapy, vanilla and strawberry flavors. The chocolate therapy basically tasted like super dark chocolate. There were no toppings like glazed strawberries, cherries etc which I personally prefer over sprinkles or marshmallows. A check-in on yelp gives us a chocolate dipped waffle cone which is pretty tasty. read more

Happily, what they did have was delicious ice cream served by a super friendly, incredibly courteous staff who had every right to be ornery after 8 hours of scooping free ice cream to an endless line of ice cream lovers. And, they used the opportunity to raise money for the hungry by having donation jars for a local food pantry. Such attention to their customers AND their community! Awesome! Ben & Jerry's ice cream rocks! The Natick scoop shop is my favorite Ben & Jerry's location in MA. It's a convenient and wicked cool place to grab some great ice cream treats next door to the Natick Collection. The layout inside is much bigger than the typical shops found in the cities and there's ample free parking outside since it's in the burbs! I was in here a lot year round when I lived and worked in the area to get my Ben & Jerry's fix. I still drop in here when I'm in the area (shopping trips). My favorite flavors are Cherry Garcia, Half Baked, and Chunky Monkey in a fresh baked waffle cone. The service has been fast and friendly on each of my visits. The Free Cone Days are the best! This place is very busy with a long line out the door which moves fairly quickly thanks to the great scoop staff. Some mad cow "spinning" action in the line takes place each year. Several ice cream fanatics grab their free cones and rush to the back of the line to get more free cones while eating their previous cones at the same time, similar to Scooper Bowl. This would be 5 stars if it were not for the assholes in front of me who were basically licking my ice cream as I was paying. I guess they didn't hear about the pandemic. The place is super sanitary. Hand sanitizer at the front door. No cash accepted. The staff is masked and gloved. They also wash their hands and re-glove between customers. Great and safe place in Natick for ice cream. An older gentleman bought a small cone, as I was walking in I saw he tripped and dropped his cone, Kira and her Co worker remembered the man's order and even upside it. when I told them I was going to pay for it. When I came back to get my order they didn't charge for it which is amazing to see great, genuine people working for an awesome organization! Emylee was so great taking my order and I forgot what my son wanted, and she remembered exactly what it was that he wanted. The staff is friendly, outgoing, and so warm welcoming. It was a huge disappointment to go here and find out that they do not serve any Frozen Yogurt ! My wife and I are both Milk challenged and therefore can not eat Ice Cream. We can however eat the bag out of some fro yo. They had nothing, no Phish food, No Chocolate fudge Brownie, nothing. If you happen to be lactose intolerant avoid this place like it has bed bugs. They clearly do not see us non cow milk eaters as equals. I may picket thanks for your input Stephen. Many lactose intolerant people can digest yogurt. People can be more tolerant of traditionally made yogurt than milk, because it contains lactase produced by the bacterial cultures used to make the yogurt. Frozen yogurt, if cultured similarly to its unfrozen counterpart, will contain similarly reduced lactose levels. read more

Who doesn't love Ben and Jerry's? I've never gone here and not had great ice cream. With that being said its expensive! $5.25 for a small cone? That seems a big excessive to me. Add a chocolate dipped sugar cone and its a buck more, or a chocolate dipped waffle cone and your looking at $7.25 for one ice cream. I could buy a couple containers from the store for that price and get more! Today I had the Berry berry sorbet. It was very good. If you're in the mood for Ben & Jerry's and are anywhere close to Natick, go to this scoop shop. It's so much better than the frost-bitten pints at the local Walgreens! I've been to the B&J factory in Vermont and this scoop shop feels like I've stepped back into it. The decor is pure Ben & Jerry's. They have pints to-go, ice cream cakes, shakes, coffee drinks and scoops. My favorite feature of this scoop shop? They have ice cream that is no longer available in stores (i.e. flavors in the Flavor Graveyard that you can't buy in pints anymore). This is the only place I can get my favorite flavor: Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz. It's heaven!! Get a sample when you go. My office has ordered lots of their ice cream cakes for birthdays and other events, and they are always ready in time, packed very well, and are of course delicious!! They're kinda pricy though. The staff, consisting mainly of teens and young adults, are always friendly, more than willing to allow you to sample before buying and most importantly, quick. The selection is vast, seating is ample and there is plenty of parking even at their busiest.
