The day bartender is the most annoying f-head on the planet. I went with a girlfriend. We both had coupons for discounted cheesecake. So we asked for separate checks. He refused to honor our coupons since it was 1 per party. We went back the next week. Had the same coupons. We sat at separate tables, but next to each other. I haven't been to a Cheesecake Factory in over 11 years. Just always end up going somewhere else when we are around here. The last time I was here (11 years ago) I ordered the Cuban sandwich. Today I ordered the Cuban sandwich. It was delicious, perfectly cooked and the fries were so hot and tasty. Waitress was attentive at first and then we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. We didn't need any water during our meal so it's fine. Place is pretty big and very cramped. We were sat at a table about ten inches away from another couple. We should've just shared a booth with them we were so close. Super loud but the food was good. Feel like cheesecake has been here for as long as i can remember. Though the allure of cheesecake isn't like the first time when you've had it. The establishment does a great job with decor and space. The dishes are usually consistent for us. Calamari is always good for me as well as their pastas (Alfredo, chipotle, carbonara) We ordered: - warm crab dip i enjoyed this, haven't had it in quite some time. The little toasts with the warm crab dip was great for me on a limited meal. Salty, crunchy, with plenty of crab dip to go around. Avocado eggrolls - the lady enjoyed these crispy and creamy! Miso salmon - both of our faves! Salmon when cooked well (it was today) with the miso glaze and sauce is probably hands down my favorite dish here. I usually ask for extra miso sauce on the side. With 21 pages on the menu (yes I checked), there's something for everyone. I've been going to the cheesecakes factory for many years all over the Boston area and it'll always be one of my favorite chain places. I've tried many things on the menu and definitely have my favorites. The fried macaroni and cheese is what I usually get as my appetizer. I will say sometimes they come out with a cold center depending on what location you go to, but tonight they were hot. I used to get the crab wontons too. My meal depends on my mood but tonight I ordered the chipotle chicken pasta which is really good. The sauce is yummy and I love the crispy bits they put on top. I also like the crusted chicken romano and the steak diane. Honestly I've tried a lot of things and the list goes on and on. Again, depending on the location the food isn't prepared/cooked the best but Natick didn't disappoint. The prices have increased quite a bit since I was younger but that's how everywhere is now. I will say though it's harder to frequent this restraunt now because dinner for two can be upwards $100, which is hard when you're already spending money shopping in the mall. Nonetheless I still like coming here esp for their lunch special until 5pm, which helps the wallet by a smidge. They also tend to run high on the calorie side, but luckily they tell you upfront in the menu how much each meal is, and also have a Skinnylicious menu option if you want a lighter fare. Last but not least, the cheesecakes! There's tons of flavors and they are all hefty slices. My favorite is the Oreo Dream Extreme slice. They are delicious but I'm usually full off of my apps, BREAD, and entrees. Overall it's good, and the Natick location delivered on quality tonight. Bad customer service with an attitude! For a colleague's open house yesterday, I bought a 7" Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake for $50.00. It has long been my personal favorite. Waited a good 20 minutes for it to come out. Paperwork read "UltRedVelv." Brought it over to their house and everybody was excited. When the hostess brought it out to serve it to the guests, it was not an Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake. Now, whatever it was was good and nobody complained as they ate it. But I was more than a little annoyed. So today I took the receipts and a photo back to the store. The clerk at the bakery was empathetic and said "sorry about that, let me get my manager." The manager appeared with a bit of an attitude clearly annoyed that someone would deign to complain that they didn't get what they paid $50.00 for. "Where's the cake?" "We ate it" I replied. The level of attitude escalated. "Well, you ate it, I can't give you your money back." To be clear, I never asked "for my money back." Didn't expect my money back. My response: "that's your answer?" I don't know if the issue is company policy that doesn't give managers the training or the latitude to engage in descent customer service, or if this was just a bad manager having a bad day. It would have taken so little to keep me a dedicated, happy customer. Instead, I'll be hard-pressed to continue to frequent at least the Natick Cheesecake Factory. read more

Yesterday, I found myself craving Cheesecake Factory after shopping at the mall. I don't go to Cheesecake Factory as often as I used to as a kid but I do love going every now & then... especially for their Miso Salmon! OMG... their Miso Salmon used to have a CHOKEHOLD on me (still does, if we're being honest). To keep things transparent, I was trying to actually go to the Cheesecake Factory a few days before at the mall closer to me, but the 1hr30 min wait definitely didn't seem worth it. Luckily for us, there was no wait last night. We were seated immediately & got to snack on some bread before ordering. We ended up getting some apps + an entree: - warm crab dip -avocado eggrolls -miso salmon -strawberry shake Honestly, I think I could've gone w/ just the avocado eggrolls and be full hahaha. Only ended up eating 2, before saving my stomach for my main course. I will forever order the avocado eggrolls! So delicious. One dish that will never disappoint me is their miso salmon, I love everything about it! I've tried so many of their dishes over the years o & always find myself coming back for the salmon. It had probably been a decade since we last dined at Cheesecake Factory, but after receiving a gift card, we returned for dinner this week. The decor is unchanged, dining room is still loud and vibrant, and the menu is still enormous. And with so many options, rather than excelling at a certain cuisine, they continue to produce a lot of mediocre food. The crispy fish tacos are not crispy and contain very little fish, the Korean fried chicken is food court quality...more batter and gristle than meat. The Asian chicken salad is decent, but certainly not a good value. I could go another decade without a Cheesecake Factory meal. read more

Ummm, it's CHEESECAKE!! My one huge weakness! Our family has been twice now and the service is great. Some may say a little slow, but in all honesty, the 2 times we've been, they've been busy, so enjoy the conversations at the table, the food will come! I love the atmosphere, it's a what an Art Center would be in a Victorian Home in Egypt. It's unique. The menu is large, so something for everyone, but the main event is the cheesecake! There are sooo many to choose from. But don't worry, if you cannot decide, they have a counter with a variety of cheesecakes behind glass that you can choose from and have them boxed up and take home!! I love a good CF lunch - and I've been to this location a few times as I grew up going to the Natick mall. This last time I went with a party of 4 for lunch around 2:30pm on a Saturday, and the place was packed to the brim. We had a 20 minute wait but it was not a huge deal as they put us on the waitlist and we sat in a nearby furniture store and waited. Once we got there, we got seated in a booth and the waitress was super nice/funny, but the service was a bit on the slower side because they were so packed and seemingly understaffed. Regardless, I ordered my usual chopped salad, my girlfriend got the chicken lettuce wraps, and my other two friends got burgers. Everything came out tasting goods and they were able to accommodate allergies and requests with care. I'm typically a food court goer when I'm at Natick mall, but this is a great option if you want to mix it up. read more

I've eaten at The Cheesecake Factory in the Prudential Center numerous times growing up, but it's been years since and probably won't write a review for it. I remember my family had difficulty getting a table, and they seemed short-staffed, which I realize happened all over during Covid-19. For the first time I ate at the Natick mall one, and it was a wonderful experience. They had a reputation for good but high calorie menu options, but for a bit now they've added a "Skinnylicious" menu with great choices. I ordered a sauteed shrimp, basil, tomato and lemon-garlic sauce with asparagus and angel hair pasta. The sauce was honestly fantastic, one of my favorite pasta dishes in a while, and it had 5 decently big shrimps. The portion was pretty perfect for what I needed and it's impressively low calorie. Our server, Hope, was great and very personable and informative. The atmosphere was very nice, despite some loud patrons, with a neat Southern European/Southwest (America) kind of décor. We also had peach bellinis, which were surprisingly like slushies instead of just regular liquid and tasted great. I highly recommend visiting Cheesecake Factory for the Skinnylicious menu especially, which has most every kind of food you could want on it. read more

Unfortunately a terrible visit! We stopped here tonight for desserts. Ambiance is always good, but the strawberry shortcake was absolutely terrible. The shortcakes were hard and tasted like they had been stored in a cooler and absorbed other food odors and flavors. The strawberries were mushy and old as well. My friend ordered the Pumpkin cheesecake and made the same statement. The cheesecake was too sweet and the crust was old and dry. What a bummer! read more

I'm still trying to understand the attraction to this restaurant, other than perhaps limited full-service dining options at the mall. We visited for a birthday celebration with a party of seven. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from both a service and food standpoint. The timing of the meals was the biggest issue. The birthday guest's four-cheese pasta was brought out first, and the other meals arrived several minutes later while she politely waited and her food got cold. My club sandwich did not arrive until after everyone else had essentially finished eating. We were told there had been a kitchen mix-up, and both the manager and server said they would check on it, but the sandwich still took quite a while. When the club sandwich finally arrived, I asked for it to be wrapped up because the meal was already over. There was no initial offer to remove it from the bill. Only after my daughter spoke up and explained that this was a birthday dinner and the situation was unacceptable did the manager offer a slice of cheesecake. We declined, and my daughter said the sandwich should be removed from the check. The manager did agree, but it felt hesitant rather than like a thoughtful recovery. What was also disappointing was that nothing was offered to the birthday guest herself. Her boyfriend ended up purchasing a slice of White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle cheesecake for her on the way out for $12.50. No birthday sundae or other birthday acknowledgment was offered, despite the fact that we were there specifically celebrating her birthday. The food itself was very average for the prices. The four-cheese pasta was $24.50 with no add-ons, and the bowl appeared only about half full. My husband's classic burger, priced at $19.95, tasted "off." The salads and shrimp tacos were fine, but nothing memorable. The bread was good and served warm with butter, but only after we asked for it. We had planned to purchase a cheesecake to take home as part of the birthday celebration, but after the overall experience, we chose not to make an additional purchase there. The seating was also uncomfortable. Seven of us were squeezed into a booth that felt very cramped for a birthday dinner. Small details were inconsistent too -- the Diet Cokes had plenty of ice, but the waters with lemon did not. Overall, this was a mediocre and disappointing experience, especially for a birthday celebration and for the prices being charged. The menu is enormous, but based on this visit, it felt like the kitchen and service struggled to execute it well. After this experience, we would be more likely to choose a different full-service restaurant for a special occasion. Given the food quality, service issues, and poor recovery, we do not plan to frequent this location again. read more

Went to the Cheesecake Factory at the Natick Mall for my birthday. I signed up for their rewards program online which I definitely recommend as you get a free slice of cheesecake for your birthday - and unlike other places, you have flexibility as to when you use it (within reason). Anyhoo, I made a reservation online. I had a busy day, so we went on the later side which made it super easy and quick. We were seated right away and got a booth, which was a plus because those little tables just are too small for the Cheesecake Factory in my opinion... I got an Arnold Palmer with I think peach and it was so very tasty! As anyone who has ever been to the Cheesecake Factory, you know they have a ginormous menu with literally so many, almost too many, very good options catering to so many styles, flavors, and cuisines. We both opted for pasta dishes and split a caeser salad. The salad was huge, definitely enough for two people and a great caeser in my opinion. Both pasta dishes were phenomenal and exactly as described with lots of flavor and a little bit of heat (being spice, but also temperature) and also very generous in size. For the cheesecake, we picked the Oreo which was o-m-geee-good, if you like Oreo/cookies-and-creme. We took the most time trying to decide on the cheesecake - there are so many options - but something to keep in mind, is that the menu does get changed out. I guess they are getting rid of the tuxedo one which we were leaning towards as a happy medium between our two styles and something not over the top, but we were both very happy with the Oreo one in the end... just something to keep in mind if you don't see something on the menu that you saw another time.. I think they change it up every 6 months or so... We had a great server - she was super nice and friendly, very patient, and attentive - which can be difficult sometimes with how large the restaurant is. I personally always love going to the Cheesecake Factory and feel like everything is great on the menu. The service and speediness is what you cant always rely on, but not from a bad staff aspect but as implied with how large the restaurant is, depending on when you go and/or how busy it is, that can impact how quick or attentive your server is. This experience was great. Since we were so full from the salad and our meals, we took leftovers and the cheesecake slice to go. Since it was my birthday and we took the cheesecake slice to go, the server was super sweet and brought out the little ice-cream that they otherwise give for birthdays if you don't have the rewards... That was really thoughtful of her and above and beyond to make sure I still got a candle - since it was late I didn't get the whole staff singing me happy birthday but that was perfect for me as I don't need that anyways - but it was just very sweet and thoughtful. She did accidentally forget to credit the slice for birthday, so thankfully we checked the receipt but she fixed that right away when we brought it to her attention... I was very happy with this Cheesecake Factory and the experience and would recommend. You know what to expect and what you're going to get going there. Our server, Mikhael, was very knowledgeable about the food & drink menus & great overall! The good was good too. We started with cocktails & nachos (way bigger plate of nachos than we thought, but they were really good). Definitely try the raspberry lemon drop too! For dinner we got pasta dishes and they were both delicious. We had tiramisu for dessert because it's our date night tradition & Mikhael helped us choose cheesecakes to take home for ourselves and family. By coincidence I've been to a few Cheesecake Factory locations in the past few months so expected a good gluten free selection for my wife (pasta, buns, etc) which she enjoys. Food was consistently good with other locations. I tried veggie burger and it was delicious! Mainly want to commend management and staff on their service. We came without reservations at noon on a Saturday. Place was packed! Everyone was friendly and hustling and we got in in a reasonable time, the waitress didn't seem stressed although the place was busting at the seams, and we had a nice experience. read more

dinner last night was disappointing. the first negative was when we (party of 4) only ordered soft drinks vs alcohol. the waiter was visably annoyed at that. my entree was chicken and pasta and it truly was like eating reheated leftovers at home. very definitely not made to order for me. the waiter ignored us until it was time to clear the table. I recently came back here for dinner. I wanted to give this restaurant one more chance to impress me. I'm sad to say that they failed miserably yet again and I will never be returning back here. The owner of this restaurant has zero interest in customers, opinions, and does not discipline staff when they have acted inappropriately or carried a negative attitude towards the customers. I will not say anything negative about the chefs nor the staff at the bakery. My review is mainly about the way the servers treat customers. First off this job involves public interface and if you are not a people person, this is not the position for you. Especially when the menu has over 200 items on it and people have various questions about certain things on the menu. The servers should not be getting annoyed or exasperated with the customers for any reason. This not only happened to me when I had questions about a certain chicken dish and jambalaya because I have food allergies but I also witnessed this Same, nasty behavior and attitude being shown to other customers around me. There were two different servers in the section where I was seated, which was pretty much the middle of the restaurant, and both a woman and a gentleman were just absolutely rotten to all of their customers. I saw weight shaming occurring as well as a server bothering a group of teenagers who only ordered small plates of food and did not want anything else. They were basically told they could order that to go and not take up a table. That is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional! Cheesecake, factory used to be an amazing special restaurant to come to for a special occasion or just have a really nice time out. Now they are completely full of themselves thinking that they are above every person that walks in their restaurant. Cheesecake, factory is only a slightly upscale chain. This is not like we are eating at serendipity in New York City, having the iconic frozen hot chocolate. The egos of the servers and managers here are absolutely unreal. When I had asked for even a refill, it took them 30 minutes to do that which was absolutely ridiculous. We had ordered the spinach, artichoke dip, and it was cold when we got it. Which was funny because there were ice crystals inside of the mix which they claim they do fresh there. When we brought it up to a manager's attention, she yelled at us and said that she just had it in the back and it was perfect. Once again they do not respond well to criticism everything they say is right and you're wrong no matter what. Based on our experience and witnessing how the customers were treated around us, I will never return back to this property again. I would say they need new management, but I don't think that's going to wake them up. I think they're so full of themselves. They can't see straight. The only thing that I can say that's positive about here is their cheesecake but you don't even have to sit down to have that.
