Coconut Seven Layer Bar on top, Marshmallow Sky on the bottom.
Jim C.

Service was quick and friendly at this bustling location. The ice cream was tasty, but a little soft. Marshmallow Sky had chunks of cookie dough and chocolate cookie dough but lacked any marshmallow flavor, but then again, it's pretty subtle as flavors go. The Coconut Seven Layer Bar was packed with coconut, pecans, graham cracker and butterscotch flavors.

My first time at a Ben & Jerry's! Soooooo good. It's expensive but if you get the small / child serving it's more than enough ice cream. I got the salted caramel / blondie. Can we say this together? Heeeeaaaaaaaaaveeeeeennnnn!!! Good customer service. Showed us some southern hospitality without being overbearing.

Free waffle cone day was amazing!

Nice ice cream shop. The kiddies went there on free cone day (4/10). The location is very convenient, it was right across the street from our hotel. They enjoyed the ice cream and sorbet that they ordered. It didn't last long! They also carry dairy free ice cream now! Awesome sauce!

Very nice ice cream and sorbet shop. Had the yummy Mango Mango. So fresh tasting. Loved the decor. Lots of tables inside, and a pizza shop.

If your business is open until 10:00 then you should still be able to get served ice cream at 9:45.

Mean people work here. No other customers in the place, but counter girl ignored us. One extra star because it's cute and clean.

It says open until 11 but a few groups of people just tried to go at 9:40 and they had locked the doors.

Very friendly staff , I am in town for work and had 3 different people tell me to go here for comfort food . Fried chicken on point Mash potato's were instant so that was my least favorite . ALL the other veggies I tried were seasoned nicely and were very good . Lima beans were the best I have ever eaten . Peach cobbler was strangely good with the strange looking topping . I would eat that every time I went

I had some business to attend to in South Myrtle Beach and as I finished up I started to get hungry…read morefor lunch. Luckily I saw a packed place on Mr. Joe White Avenue called Simply Southern Smokehouse. Place looked legit and had a full parking lot so I pulled in. There is only one way in and once you get in, the cashier is on the right with the $15 all you can eat buffet right next to it. The $15 also included all you can drink soft drinks, water and sweet tea. I paid my money and grabbed a plate and ran right up to the buffet. They start out light with vegetables and sides, working up to the main courses of fried chicken, fried fish, pulled pork, smoked chicken and some hot wings. After that, they had some mac & cheese, and then the desserts which was blueberry cobbler, peach cobbler, homemade banana pudding...and a couple of other things. I started off with some broad beans, stewed okra and tomatoes, smoked chicken and hot wings. I brought my plate and my silverware to an empty table, which was getting hard to find as the place was so packed and then went up to fetch me a glass of water to wash it down with. They serve Pepsi products and of course sweet tea but I was going to save my calories for dessert. The place was clean, well lit and the seating was well designed with booths along the wall and tables in the center... and plenty of room between the tables. Once seated I dug right in. The broad beans were excellent. Done right and full of flavor. The stewed tomatoes and okra, although cook correctly was a bit bland for my liking. The smoked chicken was excellent and I used a bit of the golden SC BBQ sauce on it...great...and homemade. The hot wings were the real deal meaty and moist with a nice kick. I finished the plate in about five minutes. Time for round two. On my second trip up, I put some collard greens, lima beans, a piece of fried chicken and a piece of fried fish on the fresh plate. As I sat down to eat, I put a bit of hot vinegar sauce on the collard greens and dug in. The collards were excellent and the homemade vinegar hot sauce gave it a bit of a kick and bite. The Lima beans were soft and loaded with flavor. I then moved on to the fried chicken, which was cooked correctly with the skin crispy and well battered and the meat moist on the inside. That said, it was bland. Given how well the beans were seasoned I was surprised. Same thing with the fish, but they had a real good house sauce for it which gave it a nice flavor and saved it, but overall both the fried chicken and the fried fish were bland. I then went up for a plate number three and realized I was not gonna be able to eat anymore mains, which was a shame since the pulled pork looked great... It will have to wait for the next time I come. I did, however leave a bit of room for dessert and I'm glad I did . The banana pudding was delicious with a full banana taste and 'Nilla wafers on top and bottom adding a bit of crunch. I only had enough room for one of the cobbler so I chose peach and it did not disappoint. Nice and warm with a sweet peach flavor and tasty crumbles. I wanted more but controlled myself. As I got up to leave, I placed five dollars on the table for the cleanup guy who was hustling and keeping the place neat and tidy. I then looked around and noticed this was a real local spot full of people from Myrtle Beach. You have families, elderly people, young people, construction workers and people from local businesses. For $15 it cannot be beat. Not only will I be back again but I plan on bringing some of my friends from up north who are going to love this place...plus I gotta try that pulled pork and Mac and cheese...if the fried chicken and fish have more seasoning, I'll up them to 5 stars.

We were a large party of 16+ people, and the table was all set up and good to go when we got there. If you have a large party like that, do call and make a reservation. Located in a strip mall on Surfside Beach/Myrtle Beach (it is on the border of the cities!), Valentino's is an Italian restaurant with lots of choices of pasta, chicken, seafood, and veal dishes. Best part is that an entree comes with either soup or salad. Our server was Corey, and he did really well with the large party and keeping us happy. We got some alcohol such as wine, beers, and liquor, and water of course. Corey also refilled our waters well and constantly. For apps, we got 2 fried calamari, 2 eggplant rolenti, and 2 stuffed mushrooms. The Calamari was tender and enjoyable! For entree, I ordered Lingini with clams in a red sauce with pasta fagoli! others ordered chicken or veal saltimoboka, as well as marsala, and some specials. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, and some even took leftovers home as well. I know I definitely enjoyed my clams and lingini! pasta was cooked aldente and enjoyable! Even the soup was enjoyable as well! This time, everything was on one bill, and we paid via a credit card, and left a cash tip. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The chicken parm was good - nice sauce and thin cutlet like we liked. The alfredo was pretty flavorless, even with adding cracked pepper and the penne alla vodka wasn't super saucy and also tasted bland. Side caesar was decent but the free bread was super crumbly and went everywhere. Calamari and stuffed mushrooms were still tasty.
