DO BETTER - Ben & Jerry's!!!!! These 5 stars aren't for you as a company but these are for your employee, Ronit. It was about 5/5:30pm on a Saturday night. We decided to get some ice cream and walk by the water. We walked in and there was a line. This is typical for pre summer evenings. Ronit was working so hard, by himself. The line was increasing, rapidly. The online orders were beeping in a distant. Ronit didn't break a sweat. And when it was our turn to order, he even complimented our sweaters and smiled. It is a weekend and during the evening- to have one person running the store is outrageous. But Ronit deserves all the credit. read more

It looked very closed on a Saturday night (chairs up and empty) but it was open- yay! The ice cream had freezer burn which indicates the ice cream isn't packed tightly (duh, it's out in the open cases) and the case is being opened constantly. Other ice cream shops don't have this issue so surprised that Ben and Jerry's does. Some of the ice cream got that glossy/gummy looking texture. Deterred some of the group from having ice cream... especially since it was $8+ for a scoop. read more

Ordered her via Uber Eats twice and great experiences! Delicious ice cream and it's never super melted so that's a plus! I love the coconut seven layer bar ice cream with the dipped and topped waffle cone, I tried the brownie sundae and was worried how it would come delivered, they carefully separated each sundae items so I can make it at home-fresh! Individually wrapped brownie, rainbow sprinkles, hot fudge, whipped cream in separate containers, and even a bowl was included! We ordered large and small, although the containers look the same size in the photo you can see they are separated by the color of the container. If I'm correct I believe the small is one scoop and the large is two-three scoops. Both times for our delivery the orders were placed in a brown paper bag with your name, so the Uber eats driver know who it's for and it's staples for safety, which is great. We look forward to coming here in the summer when *hopefully* they open up their shops! read more

This is a small store but it's very popular! It isn't unusual to see lines out the door, especially on the weekends. At this time, they're still requiring masks, regardless of vaccination status (I'm assuming that's a corporate policy). I popped in the other day to get a cup of their non-dairy chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream (which is amazing, you can't even tell that it's dairy free). The worker there (forget his name but he was the only one working Saturday at approx 12:30pm if that helps) was super friendly and helpful. This is a super cute Ben & Jerry's location. They have a great variety of ice cream flavors, and even sell cakes. My kids LOVE it here!!! I've even been to a kid's birthday party here, and it was fabulous. I'd definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the area. Nice corner shop in a great location! Came here to pick up a milk and cookies birthday cake which everyone loved (love the Tiffany blue color too)! The bottom was very like a brownie texture (unlike cookies in cream that is more crunchy). Staff was very friendly. A cute ice cream spot inside the weehawken river walk area. The inside is small but its cute and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. I decided to come here on Easter Sunday since I was craving something sweet. The line was pretty long, but it wasn't a long wait. They had new flavors which were cereal milk flavored ice cream. Wow lol just wow. I come in on a Sunday afternoon and the girl working behind the counter does the exact opposite of everything my friends and I ask. I asked if the caramel macchiato shake has chocolate she said no and proceeded to tell me it comes with the coffee ice cream which she pointed to that had chocolate chunks in it. I got something else and she asked if I wanted whipped cream on my shake I said no, she said ok and put it on my shake. She then asked if we're paying together or separate and we told her separate and she charged us together. Make sure you double check your orders. read more

Found this Ben and Jerry's location looking for P.F. Chang's lol, so me and my girlfriend ended up here after we had Chinese for lunch...okay okay so this is going to be a weird review because, I basically ordered the same thing I had in Vegas and the ice cream just didn't taste the same! I had the salted caramel blonde and it just tasted down right different, caught me and girl off guard, from the chunks of salted caramel ..thank god I actually got a different flavor for a second scoop which was butter pecan which was yummmmo...price way cheaper than Vegas for two waffles cones with double scoops...had to remove two stars not for service but for the ice cream tasting hella weird read more

Ben and Jerry is a staple and known ice cream brand sold just about everywhere. The ice cream shops aren't as numerous but they help solidify their presence as a quality creamery. This time however I was pretty disappointed in the shop. The wait on line wasn't bad, but with four staff members I expected better (they are friendly though so it's not intolerable to wait). Some of the ice cream had already developed frost so I avoided some batches just so I won't have ice in my cup. And the cup I did get came with a hair. Now I usually don't complain about bones in soup or shrimp skin in pasta but this hair should not have been there, ever. Honestly it ruined the mood and I just threw out the rest of the cup. Nothing like fishing a strangers hair out of your month to really get you grossed out. All in all I do recommend this place for its location and flavors. Do come here with a friend to go on a nice walk after. Personally, I won't go back for a while, till I get over this hair incident. read more

so zero stars is not an option. the reason isn't the ice cream. it's the tipping process. you are asking for a tip of 15-20% when you're not in that industry. they are not making $2.13 an hour like a waitress or bar keeper and they still ask you what you'd like to leave as a tip? for what? you make 15$ an hour and you want 15-20% of the restaurants revenue on top of that? I'd leave a $1 and change usually but not when asked. I will always say no to tipping when asked for a tip. it's crossing a line almost like panhandling inside behind the register. read more

I've been to this shop numerous times in a 5 year period and each time no one is wearing gloves. I understand that this isn't a Chipotle and they're using scoopers, but employees are reaching into ice cream containers and their hands are clearly touching the sides of the container. If this is happening out in the open, I'm even more concerned about what happens behind closed doors. I live across the street from this shop and truly want it to be better. Awesome location! This shop is located in a promenade where there's outdoor seating. You can grab an ice cream and walk around by the water and sit on the benches. There's other restaurants in the vicinity and there's also some shopping and a movie theater nearby. The service is great and you won't wait long. Prime location, for sure. P.S. Came here a couple of times in the past but never got to write a review till now. The place is clean and spacious an very kid friendly. They even have little chairs for the kiddos to sit in and the interior was made to feel like you were at a farm. Ben and Jerry's serve all types of flavors of ice creams and you can also have toppings added onto that as well. I picked the strawberry ice cream in a cup and it tasted great. Not too sweet and not too milky. If you didn't want to sit inside, they have outdoor seating with a good amount of tables and chairs. You can also walk down the block and sit on the benches right by the water with the view of the New York City skyline. read more

This location rocks because it houses numerous options of LOW FAT FROZEN YOGURT. Not only do plenty of B&J's skimp on having more than two low fat fro-yo flavors, but the ones they chose to have in stock aren't the best. Here they have low fat Half-Baked and Strawberry & Banana fro-yo: woo hoo! Furthermore, West New York's new Ben & Jerry's location is ideal: this large shop has seating available for adults (and even little chairs for kids), milkshake and smoothie options, pints, ice cream cakes, and B&J gift shop merchandise. Once we hit spring, taking a stroll down the riverwalk with your beau, each with of you with ice cream in hand, equals romance in the air as you overlook the city skyline :) Why 4 stars instead of 5? Soft serve ice cream is not available until summer, per a sign they have sitting on top of the soft serve machine. What's up with that? I understand that soft serve ice cream may be a slow product to move in the 30 degree north east weather, but if they want to be a mega B&J, they have to have the complete Scoop Shop Menu. read more

Came here on Easter Sunday for some ice cream. There was a long line but the servers were very friendly. I got the frozen flakes ice cream and it tasted exactly like Frosted Flakes with cereal milk! Hands down my favorite cereal of all time, I hope they keep this on the menu. Parking in this area isn't bad either, there's a lot on the side where you can park for up to 2 hours or you can park on the side of the stores for 1 hour. read more

So I went to this ben & jerry's last night, and had a coupon for one small cone or one small cup. They wouldn't give the person I was with a small cone (even though that's what the coupon said it could be used for), so he got a cup. I ordered a soft serve vanilla with sprinkles on a waffle cone. The guy that was working there hardly put any ice cream on this cone. It was outstanding. I've never seen such a sad cone in my life. And there were hardly any sprinkles on it, because lets face it, there was hardly ice cream to put any sprinkles on. I left feeling as if I got gypped out of $6 worth of ice cream because I used a coupon that was given to me, because of another bad experience. I will never come back here again. I picked Strawberry Shortcake, Caramel Almond Brittle, and Milk+Cookies flavor. I paid for my Ice Cream and sat down. The Ice Cream I bought was delicious and the seating was pleasant.
