We stopped in here after spending some time in the park directly across the street and this place was very cute and cozy, with unique flavors of ice cream being offered. I tried the Malt Ball ice cream, but we opted for the salted chocolate chip cookie, the magic bar, and the raspberry coffee cake. My favorite was the raspberry coffee cake. I wish the magic bar was thicker, with walnuts instead of the almonds. The service was simple, only one employee in there on a Saturday afternoon in spring. They had a photo opportunity for customers as well merch to purchase.

The Midnight Cocoa is fun but chalky, but that Lemon Olive Oil--citrus paradise. I'd brave hurricane gales for another scoop of that!

Super tiny medium. $9

Extremely expensive. They have cool funky flavors like earl grey lavender fudge, and banana bread. But I can't justify the serving size to the cost. 2 of the smallest scoops are a medium for $7. Sprinkles are $2. It's crazy. I tried it since my friend said it was good but I wasn't blown away. I rather have carvel to be honest. We also waited here for 20min to go in. I don't understand the lines or the craze.

Love this place!! My favorite ice cream. Such cool flavors and I have to stop by every time I'm in the area! They switch out some flavors every once in a while so it's exciting to try the new flavors. Definitely stop by!

Tl;dr: Hi Jeska, you're the best. It's good ice cream with funky flavors but jeez is it expensive. The malted cookie dough ice cream is the stuff from which dreams are made. The service is fucking IMPECCABLE. Namely, I just love Jeska--super hospitable and really nice. I've brought my whole family and she accommodated everyone extremely well. Whoever signs her checks, if you're reading: Give her a raise. The place itself is rather small and you have to wait outside. It's like the world's bougiest, most instagrammable hole-in-the-wall. I must not go at super busy times because I've never had to wait longer than like ten minutes. Look, I'll level with you: It's expensive. I find it to be worth it, as an occasional treat--even my friend who normally hates ice cream likes their stuff. If it's worth it is up to you, but I say if you have the money, it's a better deal than buying a cocktail downtown and is certainly less work on your liver.

Midnight cocoa with chocolate waffle cone & hazelnut chip with waffle cone

This place ALWAYS has a line around the corner. I went on a Wednesday night and luckily there was no line this time. My boyfriend ordered the midnight cocoa with a chocolate waffle cone. I didn't realize the midnight cocoa had charcoal in it. It was very rich and delicious. My hazelnut chip with regular waffle cone had a more subtle flavor. I think the chocolate waffle cone would've paired really well with this ice cream. There were other interesting flavors like early grey fudge and matcha Oreo that I want to come back and try! A star was docked because unfortunately the employee was not friendly at all. It was a little after 8 so I understand it was getting late and she was probably tired. But I felt a little awkward and felt like I couldn't ask her any questions about the different flavors even though it was my first time there.

Their sad salted chocolate chip cookie

This is our second time we've visited and the first time, they were closed and the woman there just glared at us the whole time because there wasn't any signage. Today, we also encountered another person tired and exhausted and not very nice. Anyways, we ordered the four scoop option: - earl grey fudge - that's where it's at. I've had quite a bit of earl grey in time of life and it's really deep and rich in flavor and lightly floral. - midnight cocoa has a gritty taste and almost tastes like hot cocoa in ice cream form. I wasn't a huge fan of this, but my friend loved it. - salted caramel was quite bitter for me and the salt tasted like the salted cream foam you get in bubble tea - honey lavender was quite sweet and really creamy. The lavender is extremely light. Definitely would buy a pint of just the earl grey fudge and nothing else. We also ordered two of the salted chocolate chip cookies and they tasted underdone and not as crispy as what the pictures looked like on their website.

I had the chocolate charcoal ice cream in a waffle cone. It was the first time I've tried charcoal in ice cream. The texture is really smooth and not too sweet. It was good, but the next time I think I'll go for the double chocolate flavor. The waffle cone was very fresh and crispy. You can't order through the window. Rather you have to do it online which is a little awkward. However, it is Covid safe. Everyone I was with loved their ice cream, too. This is a great location because there's a Cuban restaurant just steps away. And ice cream is a refreshing follow up to Cuban cuisine.

Went for a Yelp event to get a tinnnyy tinny MAC Daddy - a drop of ice cream in between two macarons with fruity pebbles cereal around it . Waited in a very long line outside for this lol. I don't think my opinion has changed of this place. Limited ice cream flavors. Creativity is interesting and limited but the flavors are just ok. The Mac daddy was nothing to brag about. People in the reviews said it taste just like the cereal. Lol yes it did but perhaps that was just because it was rolled in fruity "pebbles" ?? Not my fav ice cream place but that's ok...plenty more around.

Cost/serving size does not justify going out of my way for this establishment, when other that are more convenient exist.

Ice cream sandwiches were amazing. I wish they had more flavors of cookies and ice cream to choose from. But very high quality!

There's so many yummy flavors - it's hard to choose! I ultimately went with the rocky road (my classic favorite) and the cheesecake with rainbow sprinkles (because why not!?) and enjoyed every bite! I think the rocky road could've used more marshmallows but that's my personal preference for my favorite childhood fave ice cream. Service was great and allow you to try a couple flavors if you're unsure which is great as not all ice cream spots makes the flavors the same! It's only street parking so get ready to search for that when you come to visit - but it's worth it! And read street signs so you don't get towed or ticketed.

Not only are the…read moreportions generous, but the texture is also incredibly smooth and silky, without any icy crystals or a hard, frozen consistency. Holding it or tasting it gives a substantial, high-quality feel. However, the consequence is that even the staff struggles to scoop it out with their spherical ice cream scoops, let alone the disposable plastic spoons provided to customers. Green Tea: The highest praise Chinese people can give for desserts--not sweet--and it truly tastes like green tea, not matcha. The refreshing bitterness was incredibly pure, even bordering on slightly bitter, which is extremely rare in the US. Vanilla Peanut Butter: Very milky, but extremely salty, like eating peanut butter spread on bread. The vanilla flavor was almost completely masked. Coconut & Cream: I've always trusted American coconut ice cream, but this time it was a bit of a disappointment. The cream completely overshadowed the coconut, so much so that it took me a long time to recall what flavor I actually ordered. Ube: One bite brought back childhood memories, exactly the same as the ube flavor Wuyang五羊 ice cream cone. It was so touching I didn't order this in the end since I want to try more flavors as possible. I don't know why, but ube flavor seems to be gradually fading in China... Blueberry Cheesecake: The initial taste was a rich, sweet cream, with a refreshing hint of blueberry tartness in the aftertaste. It's pretty good, but honestly, it's not particularly outstanding. Banana Peanut Butter Chunk: The staff recommended this signature dish, and it once again made me realize how subjective taste can be... It's on the sweeter and saltier side, with a very strong flavor, but more importantly, it has a noticeable artificial banana flavor.

The ice cream is incredible--rich, flavorful, and tastes homemade. The mango is a standout, and the brownies are honestly next-level--warm, decadent, and just a step away from a perfect lava cake. They've also got amazing cakes (including a fantastic carrot cake) and a great selection of treats that keep you coming back. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner, Peter. He's always welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He greets customers with a smile, takes the time to say hello, and creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and inviting. The staff deserves just as much praise--every single one of them is amazing: professional, friendly, funny, and kind. I've known many of them over time, and they consistently go above and beyond. Today, one of the staff members was incredibly sweet--she even brought my order out to me while I was sitting in my car. That kind of service is rare and really shows how much they care. The shop itself is spotless--seriously clean, top to bottom--and there's even a cozy outdoor seating area where you can sit and enjoy your coffee or dessert. Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.
