In 2009, while visiting Vegas with my wife, we walked by a jewelry store in the Venicitan shops. She spotted a ring in the window of the Ben Gioielli jewelry store, and it was love at 1st sight. I purchased the ring for her and watched her enjoy it for many years. In July of 2020, we made a trip back to Vegas, and decided to go by Ben Gioielli jewelry and consider trading up. The staff of the store are the most considerate, honest, caring individuals I have ever worked with. Danak and Margarita are a key element in the 5 star rating I gave. They found her the perfect ring and I was so glad to be able to give it to her. The store is a 1st class operation and its always a pleasure to go and visit them. These ladies are exceptional. At first I wasn't going to write a review but I bet other folks will be tricked (like I almost was) if I do not tell my story. My gf and I had been strolling through the shoppes a few months back and noticed a ring that looked really nice at first so I stayed in contact for a few months while I price shopped and did my due diligence. After several months a price was negotiated so I could fly back down and purchase it but she would not send me any pictures to insure its the same thing I remembered. #1. Claims "people try to steal our great designs". What a load of cra*. Every single other jeweler had no problem doing so and this places designs are not anything special. I tried to put a deposit down a few times but was told for one reason or another that they will just TRY to hold the ring for me... Ok, kind of weird since I am flying down there. I obviously don't want to fly down for something thats not there. #2 so I started investigating reviews and other jewlers. Became pretty apparent that there are some horror stories ( #3) here so I created a few back up plans for my trip. THANK GOD I DID. I was reminded numerous times that stone is perfect, just like the ring itself, and the only reason its not certified by GIA is to save me money. If I wanted it certified it would cost me... $2,000.00!!! Hold up, I went to GIA, certs cost maybe $500 after shipping and insurance so #4 received loud and clear. I flew down a day early to go check out the ring again and the first thing I notice is 2 huge inclusions running down the center. She tells me its nothing to worry about, all stones have this... I need to buy this thing right now though because she has other people wanting to buy it for more money. HAHAHA, right, after 8 months magically someone else wants it now too. Personally, I think they didn't want me to make a deposit because I demanded a contract stating that if for any reason I didn't like the ring, it would be refundable (did that especially bc of other reviews read). Im in sales and when you push a hard sale on me, I know its a scam. 2 stars bc she was a pleasure to deal with at first. VERY happy I listened to the other reviews and didn't just brush them off. Visited this jewelry store three and a half years ago and found this truly stunning white gold penguin pendant/pin with white and yellow diamonds. Wanted to get it for my wife but at the time I just couldn't. That haunted me ever since. For years I tried searching for it on-line to see if it was available elsewhere. I simply could not find it. Well, my wife and I recently stayed at The Venetian and I made it a point to visit Ben Gioielli & Co. again...just to see if it was still there. Long-shot I know. LO AND BEHOLD it was still there! And the exact same representative, Danak, who showed it to me all those years ago was still there and REMEMBERED me! She said you don't get very many people walking into a jewelry store asking for penguins so although it was a long-shot it really wasn't too surprising it was still there. It was a custom job so it was truly one of a kind. Well, second chances are oftentimes hard to come by, so this time around I got it for my wife right then and there and at a nice discount from what it was when I had to turn it down all those years ago. They even offered to add a dedicated chain loop (at no charge!) to make wearing it as a pendant more natural. If I ended my review here it would still be an awesome experience. But it doesn't stop there. Since the chain loop required custom work they needed to hold on to it and ship it to us. Well, my wife and I were headed to a nice restaurant and I really wanted her to be able to wear it during dinner...so they let us do that. When we returned afterwards (they were open till 11PM--on Memorial Day!) they took the pendant/pin, offered to clean my wife's wedding ring, and broke out a bottle of champagne. Seriously, I don't get this kind of service at Tiffany's...what a pleasure it was shopping here. And what an absolute fairytale book-end to my three and a half year quest to re-discover and acquire that special one-of-a-kind gift for the love of my life. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about my experience here at Ben Gioielli and Co. from the moment we walked in we were treated just like family... maybe better because of all the things we tried on! Margarita is the absolute best, knowing exactly how to tell each persons individual style. Within minutes all 6 of my family members had on something they absolutely loved and fit their personality. It says a lot when you can spend 5 hours in a store laughing and having a good time but also not feeling pressured or uncomfortable while making such big purchases. After deciding on several pieces they were shipped fed ex over night to my house and arrived exactly on time. It was packaged in not 1 but 2 boxes, then in a bag which housed another box in perfect condition. I have never experienced such a high level of customer service but also genuine happiness from the staff as we made decisions! Purchased a watch from Ben Gioielli & Co in 2018 that we paid a significant amount of money for. Suffice it to say.. there have been serious issues... I figured I would just post a copy of the letter we sent to Ben Gioielli & Co summarizing our horrific experience. Copy of the letter we sent to Ben Gioielli & Co: We bought a watch from you in July 2018 that never worked from day one. If you recall, the second hands were not working at the time we purchased it so you did not deliver it to us until September 2, 2018 because your "watchmaker" was going to make sure the watch was in perfect working condition. The watch has been back to your store 2-3 times over the course of the past few years because the watch has NEVER worked consistently. Therefore, you sold us a watch that never worked from inception to which I have more than one story as to why it didn't work over the past 2 years. Battery? Alternate time zones needed fixing etc... all seemingly just excuses. First and foremost, neither you or anyone else in your store EVER stated that this watch was "pre-owned". To allege now that it is pre-owned and was sold "as-is" is a complete fabrication. The attached sales invoice and appraisal make zero reference to the watch being used or pre-owned, or disclaiming any warranties that would typically be disclaimed if someone was selling a "pre owned" "as is" watch. We would not have purchased the watch had we known it was pre-owned. In fact, what you stated to us about the history of the watch is that Ben buys watches and then he sends them out to your watchmaker in Hawaii to have them "blinged" out. Again, never any mention the watch was "pre-owned". To state in your email that to service us as one of your better clients, you contacted a watchmaker to fix it, is laughable as you specifically told us the watch was going back to the watchmaker that built it! It would appear that you fraudulently induced us to purchase a pre-owned watch while representing it as new. You misrepresented the facts of what we were purchasing, as up until today we were always under the impression it was a new watch, and we relied on your misrepresentation and paid for a "pre owned" watch that we believed to be brand new. In my opinion...You would have better luck playing the slot machines then buying a piece of jewelry from Ben Gioielli & Co! read more

This story started about five years ago when my girlfriend and I strolled past. We were immediately drawn to the great selection of beautiful rings. So when I was ready to pop the question I knew this was where I would go. My first trip I met Danak who helped guide me through the process. After figuring out exactly what I wanted, I came back and Danak and I designed the engagement ring and matching wedding band together around a diamond that she had that met my specs. She made sure that it arrived in time for our trip to Sedona and everything went smoothly. Everybody who has seen the ring raves about it, from the stone to the setting and the band. My wife's coworkers still stop her to look at it a year later. Unfortunately the ring was damaged, so my wife brought it back during CES this year, and Danak helped get the ring repaired quickly and inexpensively. Strolling around the Venetian, saw some nice earrings in the windows of Ben Gioielli. Their shop says they are a vintage jewelry shop & looks like they had vintage & modern pieces alike Maybe they are more like an estate jewelry shop - regardless, their selection is lovely! Tried on the earrings in question & it was love......but given we had just arrived in Vegas & had the whole day to play, we didn't want to commit to such a huge purchase right away The salesperson offered a large "discount" on the earrings, right upfront & advised us if we wanted to make a counteroffer, she would reach out to the owner on our behalf - this is what led me to believe they offer some pieces on consignment So we obtained the info & name of the person who helped us & left to think about the earrings A couple of days later, we decided to make an offer via email but didn't hear anything back for about a week - when a response finally arrived to advise us that unfortunately the owner did not accept our offer, however he did present a counteroffer It would have been great if the salesperson had acknowledged she received our message, so we weren't left wondering the whole week - or better yet, if she provided a status check to say she was in the process of contacting the owner & waiting to hear back......instead we were left in the dark Well, we were unwilling to meet the owner's latest asking price, so now we are back at the negotiating table.... or maybe we're not We presented a "final" offer & are still waiting to hear back.....and it's coming up on 3 weeks w/ no response or acknowledgement.....and we aren't going to beg to purchase those earrings & in fact, this non-communication has left me no longer interested Even if the final, final answer is no, please follow up w/ your potential customers - when service is such a huge part of the overall shopping experience, have to say we've seen better read more

Last year, I bought a new bracelet and antique earrings and this past week I purchased another pair of earrings, this time new. The experience was wonderful both times. When I returned to Vegas this year, I needed work done on the clasp of my bracelet. I walked in and my bracelet was taken right back to the jeweler, who tightened the clasp as I waited. No charge. They told me that they will do whatever their customers need for as long as they have the jewelry. All pieces I've bought from Ben Gioielli have come with appraisals, which is excellent. I happened upon this store while my friends were getting chair massages and I had been admiring the yellow diamonds in the window display. A gentleman came out and started discussing the different looks of the pieces and that they had the largest inventory of yellow diamonds in the United States is what I believe he said. The store is well appointed and at first glance your impression would be that you are about to drop serious amounts of money but, that is really not the case. I felt for the quality of jewelry and the cuts of the gemstones that you were really getting the most bang for your buck. They have many different types of jewelry from classic, contemporary, vintage, simple, elegant to grandiose. I am from Steubenville Ohio and my friends came across Ben Gioiellis around the end of December 2015. I went to three other "custom" local jewelry stores prior to Bens and none of them offered me the customer service, quality of diamond, and just an all around amazing experience. The entire first purchase was made over the phone, through pictures, and emails, and I was treated like I was spending millions of dollars (and I wasn't, I wish I could). From the moment they answered the phone it was a relationship I knew I was going to have for a lifetime! A few months ago, the ring needed to be sized, and this went very smoothly. We received the shipping labels, overnighted it to the store on a Monday, and no more than 4 days later it was back where it belonged. My fiancé and I just recently (July 2016), visited the store for her wedding band. The experience was great, but even more wonderful because I was able to put faces with names. In the end they were also able to find me the perfect wedding band also!! I could go on and on about how Ben Gioiellis helped make my proposal perfect, and I couldn't be more thankful for their help through all of this! This is one of the worst jewellery shops that I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot! I have to confess that I did not doubt this place at all, because it is in the Venetian in Las Vagas, and I really did not think twice about giving my full trust and confidence to this place, because if you are not going to trust a place like this, which place are you going to trust? The answer from my experience is: Never ever trust any jewellery place and always be super cautious, and you can not be careful enough. From my experience here, I figured that it is actually quite the contrary, it is places like this scam more people than any other place and that is how they are always here. To explain more about my experience here, I visited with my wife and we were looking to upgrade her diamond ring, it was of great quality very clean and clear, etc but it was about .5 carat or so. We liked one that was listed for a little over $23,000 and had a certified diamond that was close to 2 carats with really good quality, etc.. Long story short, in negotiations the $23,000 came down to $13,000 and they would buy our old ring for $4000. The ring had to be resized, and they said that this should be absolutely no issue at all, and because we were leaving they would mail it with certified insured mail, and they will also not charge for tax because we are from out of state. They also stated that they will be making absolutely no profit with this whole deal, but they are willing to do it, to win us as customers and will gain our future business when we return. We received this as great news, and it actually was a fantastic deal that we both thought that was the high light of the trip and we returned happy back home. The nightmare started when we received the ring by mail, the ring was like it was run over by a car! It was bent and almost broken and the main diamond is out of the housing and many more diamonds on the side have fallen off the ring!! Panicked and alarmed my wife called them back, and they stated that this can not be true, because they inspect each diamond before it is shipped, and this one was inspected as well, after it was resized it was carefully packages and mailed, they claimed that if it was not damaged by us, then they should ask Fedex for the insurance money because it was damaged during shipping!! To me this made no sense, the whole package did not even have one dent or scratch on it, the enclosing box was brand new! I called and asked to speak with the manager and the owner, and their response was like: "Listen you are a reasonable man, our word is we sent it brand new, you damaged the ring, we will try to over look this and repair it for you free of charge as a courtesy, because we have been in business for 25 years and we never had anything like this happen before". At this point, I started to realise that I have been scammed and at this point what am I going to do? I remembered that my home has security cameras all over, and I was able to retrieve the videos showing the whole incident as we received the box, my wife opening it, calling me, and then taking photos of it and sending them by messages and email!! If I had to go to courts, now I have amazing back up to my story. I called again and informed them about that, but they thought that I might be just bluffing, but after weeks of talks, they said that the ring was repaired and ready for pick up. I decided that it would be best that I fly there just to make sure that all is well this time, and if things were not right then go to the police to file a report. At this point, I had absolutely no trust in this place, at the time of picking it up, I asked them to tell me the laser inscription on the diamond as I compare it to my certificate to make sure that the diamond has not been replaced. What a nightmare! But at least in the end, I got the ring with the right diamond, but I will never ever forget the whole ordeal and story of frustration that unfortunately haunts me every time I look at the ring!! From my judgment I am not sure 100% that the owner is the one responsible for orchestrating this whole thing, and if this is done to more people visiting from all over the world, if there really is a conspiracy theory or not. Or if this is happening by some bad manager, or employees, I guess I'll never know. But, it is important to share this experience to warn those whom are doing their homework by scanning reviews about places, and even if it was to late for those whom fell into the similar trap and experience the same ordeal that: No, you are not alone, and this has actually happened to someone else, that whole 25 years of No problem BS is not true, it is actually normal to have problems, but how to handle the problems and how to solve them is what establishes really customer service. Just got back from Las Vegas where my fiancee and I bought our engagement and wedding bands from Joann. Joann is spectacular and was a joy to work with during this transaction. We had originally found the engagement ring over the Super Bowl weekend and had been in correspondence ever since. We purchased a very expensive black diamond bracelet that promptly broke, whereby we lost some of the diamonds that were too small to be found within the floor of the restaurant that we were at. They said they would fix it, but we had to pay extra for some of the diamonds that were lost. That in itself would be OK, except it promptly broke again the first time even just a slight amount of pulling occurred. At that point, we did investigate what was holding everything together and it was cheap plastic wire. At this point we asked for them to fix it using something better and they said that Ben will call us back, but that never happened and after about a dozen calls and left messages we gave up. Considering it broke the first time with almost no pressure applied, they really should've fixed it the first time for free and they certainly should've got back to us after months I've left messages and that is not the mark of a good business. read more

Let me start off by saying I was super skeptical of this place after reading reviews. My husband wanted to get me a new setting for my wedding ring, and we found one we loved. She said they would take my diamond, put it in the setting, size it and mail it to me. GULP!!! I was so nervous about leaving it. Let me just say, Avisa was amazing. She was super helpful, showed us settings that weren't on display, and was super patient with our 3 kids (who were NOT being that patient). She mailed the ring the next day overnight (to Utah) and I had it 2 days after we left the store! We went to a jeweler here, who confirmed that it was my original diamond and that the setting is just as amazing as she said it was. The ring is absolutely gorgeous!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Ben is the biggest rip off artist in the industry. Feel free to contact me with more information, however BUYER BEWARE! We purchased 2 settings that were meant to be worn together, the piece that became an issue that is still not resolved after 3 years, is a wedding band that was supposed to be made to fit with the engagement ring. This piece was to be made in the likeness of a ring they had in their store with the exception of having yellow diamonds instead of rubies. When the band showed up, it was nothing like the band in the store that was the "inspiration" piece. The yellow diamonds were half the size they were supposed to be and the halo diamonds were smaller than diamond chip, they were undistinguishable. Ben not only refused to cure the issue, his only other solution was to exchange for another item in the store. The problem is their items are so over priced that you are getting something far less than what you are paying for. For example they have diamond eternity bands for $8000 that anywhere else can be purchase for $3500-$4000. Ben refuses to pick up the phone and solve the issue. There is NO customer service here when it is needed most. Not all purchases are out of the show room, so don't be fooled by people who had a good experience on Yelp or anywhere else, because when things don't go well for the customer, Ben refuses to make it right. read more

ALERT: BEN COHEN PREFERS TO SUE HIS CUSTOMERS I purchased a $20,000.00 diamond engagement ring with no written purchase agreement. After making $9,000.00 in payments the owner, Ben hires Las Vegas lawyers demanding immediate and full payment which was not the plan. On top of things because I could not afford it at the time and did not fly to Las Vegas; he flew to California and personally put the ring in my Fiance's hands (nice move Ben). Now I'm left defending myself against his Las Vegas law firm which filed a Nevada law suit even though he flew in to California to consummate this deal. Ben has spend $8,000.00 suing me and my Fiance too (not even part of the purchase) over an outstanding balance of $11,000.00; does that make sense? We offered to rescind the purchase absent a written agreement and return the ring or continue payments as before. Instead he is suing us in Nevada like a bully with his Las Vegas attorneys. DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT THIS JEWELRY STORE! THEY DAMAGED MY ENGAGEMENT RING! I was looking at wedding bands and asked for my engagement ring to be cleaned while I looked. It was a customer comfort fit, and instead of just cleaning it as I had ask, the lady put it on a shaper to "reshape" it and completely bent it! The jeweler was not in, and I was told the owner would call me first thing in the morning. The owner did not call me as the manager had indicated, so I contacted him in the morning and told him I expected the store to pay for my ring to be fixed. He was very rude & told me that he has been in the jewelry business for a long time and has never had any problems. I responded that there was a problem now and asked how he was going to handle it. He again insisted that he had not had any problems in the past but told me to call him once I got the ring repaired and he would "see what he could do". I had the ring repaired for a cost of less than $75, but he will not call me or my husband back so we can work out the details for him to pay. I have experienced how poorly and rudely he treats potential customers, and would highly recommend not purchasing anything from this store. I did file a report with the mall security so that I would have a documented record of what happened, and will try to pursue other options - perhaps small claims. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. Bought our wedding rings here spur of the moment before we spontaneously got married 10/18. In Vegas for a work trip, from NC. Didn't have time to research, look up reviews on this store. But it looks high end so it must be, right? Staff was nice and got us beautiful rings. In and out in 45 min. My ring was a pale blue 5 carat sapphire in a rose gold setting with diamonds and my husbands is a two tone rose gold band. My ring listed at 10600 and his over 2400. Paid 5000 for mine and 1400 for his. Felt like a great deal until the next day when we saw reviews online. There were so many horrible reviews talking about poor customer service, damaged jewelry arriving to peoples homes with stones falling out, stones being switched out for cheaper stones. I went back to the store the next day obviously very concerned about our purchase and these reviews and they attempted to address each one of these concerns. They were always very polite but always acted like it was the customers fault and not theirs. We weren't able to see our rings that day because they were getting sized. We were told to come back the next day before we left out of town to come back to North Carolina to look at the rings. Went back on October 20 to try the rings on and that's when I noticed a small chip in the side of my sapphire. I was beside myself. In tears in the store. Felt like everything I read online was true. Joy the office manager and Danak a sales person told me many times that this could easily be polished out without losing any of the carat weight. At first they thought maybe this was damaged when the ring was sized. I was then called back later and told that Ben the owner said that this was a natural imperfection. I was told this could be easily polished and would be shipped to me in a week. One and a half weeks later and no ring. I had to call several times for follow up. I was then told that they didn't recommend polishing the stone because it would lose too much carat weight. It took their jeweler an entire week to figure this out. So essentially they kept the ring for over a week and did nothing to it except add extra stress to my life. I was then told that they could move the stone in the setting so that the prongs covered this imperfection. I was told that this will take another week. One week later I finally received my ring in the mail. They had done absolutely nothing to it. It was the exact same condition as when I saw it on October 20. They did not change the stone, polish the imperfection or rotate in the setting. When I texted the sales person I purchased from, Mariella, she never responded back. At that point I figured I should just give up on contacting them because I've been told many times on the phone that if my sales person was not in the office when I called that they would have to have her call me back and there was no one else that would be able to help me at that time. I was also told that we would receive an appraisal of these rings and then it would take approximately two weeks after rings were purchased. It is now been a month and a half with no appraisal. I called today and was again told that because my sales person Mariella was not in the office they could not help me. I was also told that Joy their office manager was not there and Ben their owner was not there. The person I spoke to on the phone Dandy then abruptly said thank you, goodbye and hung up on me. I can not believe the amazingly poor customer service. I will never ever buy anything from the store again and I strongly recommend that no one else does either. I have also tried to contact the Venetian to let them know the quality of store that they have within their shoppes. I am scared to have the rings appraised on my own because I feel like I will find out that the stones are not real or it is not worth anywhere close to what I paid for it. How can you as a person in good conscience do this to a couple that just got married and to their wedding rings? BEWARE OF THIS STORE! read more

Take your business elsewhere. My boyfriend purchased a lovely pair of pearl earrings as an anniversary present. The backings were loose and after a few days, I had noticed one earring had fallen out of me ear. I called Ben Gioielli and spoke to Tiffany, the saleswoman who had sold my boyfriend the earrings. She had me send back the earring so that they could find a matching pair. Then, radio silence for 3 months. The only communication I had was when I called twice to follow up on the status of the search. I finally insisted on speaking with the manager, Joanne, and magically the earrings were being shipped out the next day, with the promise that the backs were much stronger. After wearing them for 20 MINUTES, I reached up to my ear and found one of the earrings dangling precariously out of my earlobe, the back missing. I left another message with the store and requested a call back from Joanne. Four days later, she leaves me a very condescending message about how she finds it very interesting that the earrings are continuing to fall out given that she checked the backs herself and had another coworker do so as well. She then proceeded to give me a little "How to Wear Earrings 101", reminding me to make sure that the backings were pushed all the way up to my ear and to be careful when pulling things over my head. Thanks. She did say that she's sending along an extra pair of backings, but I have zero faith in their product. I will be taking this to my jeweler at home who knows what he's doing. Piss poor customer service and a jeweler who is apparently baffled at how to make earrings that stay in your ear. There are plenty of high-end jewelry stores elsewhere that create beautiful pieces that won't fall off your body due to shoddy workmanship. If you consider buying something from Ben Gioielli, try Claire's first. You'll get the same quality for a fraction of the cost. read more

My husband and I came to Las Vegas for a convention and had the privilege of happening to come across this beautiful jewelry shop. The designs and variety of stones are so unique and gorgeous! We had the good fortune of meeting Margarita and Radostina who helped us in choosing pieces catered to my style. They had so many great choices it was hard to control myself! Both of the Ladies spent a lot of time with us and made sure we were happy with the choices we made. I personally love yellow gold, if a setting was in white gold they made the ring in gold for me in just a few days. They also helped in changing my watch battery and resizing a ring I already owned. We were both humbled by there hospitality and appreciated the fun times we spent in the shop with them!
