I've done business with Ben printing over 13 years now and always have been super happy for their customer service, job quality, time management and sense of humor. 14 years ago when I gave them my first order I had so much stress timewise and designwise to make my business card ready in 3 days. I live in OC and Ben helped me with everything online and I received a box with my amazing business card design at my door the next day. Since it was my first job he didn't even charge me for all those high quality great design cards. Ben printing and specially Ben do put themselves in the customer's position and see the situation through their eyes. They do have a great customer-facing responsibilities and they do all with passion and love for their customer. The price is awesome compare to the job quality. I took my car to Ben to get it wrapped. He said he had done this before and guaranteed that he would do a good job and I would be happy. I had gotten a few quotes for this and he was the second highest priced and the priced ended up being almost twice what he initially qouted. I have had two other cars wrapped and this is by far worse. After a few days the wrap started to form bubbles and on the mirrors and grill the wrap is coming off. I have tried several times to text, and call Ben and have even set aside three separate days to get this fixed. It appears now that I am bothering him after he got paid. He will not return calls and sends phone to voice mail. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away as possible for wraps. I have no recourse because it was a cash deal. read more

So. I read some of the reviews worked with Ben. Yes, you're all correct. He ISN'T always available. So yes you SHOULD call before you go to him. I still give the guy a 5/5. I would definitely call him first. The guy is running this whole thing by himself along with all the other stuff he has to take care of for his growing business. When Ben actually works with you, he's enjoyable to work with, he's meticulous when he's working with your sign or banner so you get exactly what you want. And if you need to make any non-graphical changes to your current sign (like adding grommets), Ben says to bring it anytime. He's good people. Ben helped me out of a jam, open on weekends and was able to provide sticker labels same day for a trade show in vegas. Thats what all the stars are for. Printing was subpar, banner and postcards seem like a door buster as the rest seems priced higher than competitors or outsourced. You get what you pay for, but I am us to paying less and getting a lot more. Probably good for one off banners or birthday cards, not for business use. read more

Ben Printing made me an awesome looking banner for my birthday last year, at a great price ($40 for a large banner). I started the order over email. It was made quickly and on a weekend. The hassle came when it was time to pick up the banner. I showed up to the business during the posted business hours (a little after 10am), and nobody was there nor answering the phone which was frustrating. For the next few days, I played phone tag with Ben, trying to schedule a time when he would be there for me to pick it up and pay for it. This was difficult, as he was understandably busy. We finally found a time that worked for both of us, but it was a very tight squeeze as my girlfriend had to be there by 4:30 or he was going to be gone. (I remember she drove past it and went into oncoming traffic to do a u-turn and get back to him on time!) Perhaps his process has changed within the last year, but if not, I would highly recommend that he develop a process for customers to pay him online and pick up the banner in a drop-off bin outside the shop. This is what PrintStar does, who I just used for my birthday this year :) Again, the banner was of top quality though and it was a hit at my party. read more

And when I actually went to the store during business hours, they were closed and he put a sign to call him. Just picked up a banner from Ben (01-09-15) on super short notice. Delivered as promised, just in time for my fishing trip. Was driving along Miramar Rd yesterday (01-08-15) in the afternoon and saw signs for banners for $48. I stop by, but no one home. I called the number and Ben answered. I asked if he can do a banner for me short notice.he said no problem and it could be ready by 6:30pm. I was on my way home already some said it would be ready for pick up the next day.
