The ice cream was melting fast, but the chocolate shell did not melt at all and kept its form to the end. Not sure what is in it that made it not melt. The soft serve itself was just OK. It wasn't very creamy or tasty, but it was cold and served its purpose on a hot day.

I had mentioned my penchant for pastries of the Scandinavian variety in passing and when she suggested this place I was excited. Imagine my delight in seeing the Kringler was in the bakery case. I swear I nearly squealed with joy. I've been unemployed since March 2024. Thankfully my hubby landed a job (with benefits, phew) so we're not homeless. But eating out is definitely not on the menu (pun fully intended). This is definitely a cafeteria. Do not go here expecting tablecloths and candlelight. The place was clean, the staff friendly and conscientious, and the portions were hearty. And delectable. The only place that may do Kringler slightly better is 30 miles away and hard to get to.
