If there were zero stars that's what this company would get. We were told X amount of time before a pick up. After a significantly longer amount of time we called for an update. After three "disconnections" we called the driver directly. He informed us the dispatcher was intentionally hanging up on us bc they knew they were running behind. Worst. Taxi. Company. I have never reviewed a taxi service, but I gotta say I had the best driver I have ever had!! And I travel by taxi a lot. Candace is the most personable, kind, & friendly taxi driver in Bend, or anywhere!!! I was having a pretty bad day, until I got into her cab. Last night I attended a show at the midtown and it was amazing! As the night end I needed to find a safe ride back to Redmond, so i called bend cab at 1130. I was told by dispatch that it was a 20 minute wait. I told dispatch that I had three stops to make in Redmond (I had two other friends with me) I also told them I would pay whatever for the extra. I got text props telling them they were on thier way and then two telling me they were out side. My party and I go get into the cab he clears my name makes sure that I was the multiple stops then pulls away....but then stops 50 feet from where he pick us up and tells us our ride was cancelled and we need to get out. In shock I said no and asked how that was possible considering I was sitting in the cab ready to go home. He told me he didnt know but to get the F@*$ out of the car. So my party and I do so. I called dispatch back to be told that all drivers are independent contractors and he could have asked us to get out for any reason...ummm ok but I didnt have a chance to do anything to be kicked out I then asked how it got canceled when I called in. Again they couldn't answer that question. Once I found a better cab with better customer service threw COILED CABS! The driver from bend cab proceeded to text me telling me how i booked threw UBER and called in so they canceled out. That's why he kicked us out. Called for a medical ride, they showed up late, which I had expexted so I scheduled an early pick up. The driver was all stressed out about picking her kids up from school and wanted to get them BEFORE DROPPING ME OFF. Um no, you're late and you are on the clock! I called four hours before my wife was scheduled to land at Redmond Airport o have a cab pick her up from the airport - was told no problem there would be someone there to pick her up and that they would check the flight status to make sure they were there on time. My wife landed EXACTLY on schedule and there was no one there to pick her up. And EVEN WORSE, there were two other people who had also called Bend Taxi who were waiting for their cabs as well. How can you have THREE people waiting and not send a cab. My wife called and they told her that they would send a cab but all THREE people would have to share the cab. When my wife called me and told me that, I called the dispatcher and he said, and I quote, "It just didn't work out - we got busy." It was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I told him that my wife needed to take a cab to/from RDM 2 or 3 times a week, and we needed to have reliable taxi service. His response was as rude as you can get: "I guess we'll just lose a customer then and he hung up on me. Unbelievable Obviously, I recommend that you avoid Bend Taxi at all costs. I can't WAIT until Uber comes in and these guys go out of business! Bend residents need reliable transportation around town and to the airport. They were on time! I was going to Australia and it was very important that my first leg of the trip was on time. They showed up 5 minutes early got me to the airport in a crazy rain storm. When I returned from my trip I called them got the same driver. She was awesome on both trips. I highly recommend this company and is the only company I will use from here on out. read more

This company is horrible. The woman who answers to get whatever it is you need is rude. So rude that someone should pull the stick out of her butt and hit her with it. In a word - horrible. I scheduled a ride from Redmond airport to Bend in the am to be sure I had a ride waiting that evening. I even called from my connecting city to confirm. When I arrived in the evening the driver called me to say he was outside as I waited for luggage. I got my luggage and went outside. No taxi. Called dispatch. Guy said something about the driver took some other people with 'vouchers'. I said 'what are you talking about?' And he said 'well, someone should be out there' and hung up on me. I finally had to beg another couple to let me ride with them as there are no unscheduled taxis waiting at the airport. Absolutely awful. Never, ever use this company! read more

Called for a taxi, they said it would be 10 minutes we waited half an hour called back. They said it would be another 10 minutes. The guy was pretty rude about it and said that they were just too busy. And told me to wait longer. Really disappointing. Uber really needs to come to band. called today at 9.45am on 12.09.19 to schedule a pick up at 10.15am. needed a ride from one business to another business. at 10.20am i called bcc to find out where the vehicle would arrive. no answer. i called again at 10.25am. no answer. so i decide i will start walking to the place i needed to be driven. at 10.30am i get a phone call from a 406 (billings mt) phone number. i did not pick it up because i am in bend oregon (541) a few min later i get a text that the bend cab company is at the address and needed to know what suite i was in. called them back and said i started to walk and was going to find another way there. at 10.35 the sliver car with the bcc logo on the side of the car drove by , honked, waved and continued down the road with out stopping and offering me a ride for the balance of my trip. i call the bend cab company back and talked to the same person who originally scheduled my pick up. he first told me that the 10.15 time slot was booked. i pressed him as to why not just tell me that the 10.15am time time slot was booked and the next opeining would be 10.30. i could have changed my schedule to fit their time slot. then he told me that the drive had stopped to get fuel and that was why he was late. but the dirver did not call the cab company or my self to tell me they were running late. i had stood out in the cold for 15 min waiting before i started to walk. what a waste of time. communication is key. i now know why uber, lyft and the other ride share companies do so well. so if you get a call from your bend cab car with a billings mt area code ending in xxx9 just know how you may be treated. read more
