WOW!!! This place was incredible. My husband and I are vegan and my sister is a meat eater and we were both SO PLEASED! They have a whole vegan menu and every thing we got was incredibly delicious. The first time I tried to eat here I walked out before even getting my food. This time, I forced myself I would go through with the whole "experience". Ordered a half and half pizza, simple enough. After I ordered, I stood at the counter for a solid 10 minutes. Why? Because their iPad ordering system is the slowest thing on the face of the earth and can't handle custom orders. Phew, $36 for a 14in half and half and one drink, insane! So for the food, well it came out somewhat quickly, so that's good. But that's about it. The crust.... OHHHHH the crust was so so bad. It was just bad. No cheese on the pizza, and very sparing on the toppings. I had one slice that only had 2 pieces of mini pepperoni on it. If I were to describe this pizza, I's say its food for kids, really, really rich kids. I could go on, but I think you get the point. Don't go here. Bend Pizza Kitchen is God's gift to vegans. They have an ENTIRE vegan menu.... front AND back! We started with the walnut pear salad and some cheesy bread, and then had the Mt. Bachelor pizza. It was all amazing. The vegan cheese they use is unreal. It's actually melty and gooey and tastes just like the real thing. We were in Sunriver only for one week but went to this place twice! As a vegan the options are amazing! They have a full vegan menu with a wide range of items. On the two different stops I tried a variety of items. The walnut pear salad (so simple but sooo good, the pears were some of the best I've ever had), the "chicken" club sandwich which was amazing! Definitely some of the best pizza in Bend. High quality ingredients make for some especially good pie. I usually just get the pepperoni pizza. They use the small pepperoni that curl up in the oven. They are so delicious but unfortunately they are used rather sparingly. The pizza sauce is really tasty but I would prefer a bit more. My only other gripe is that the pizza could be baked just a bit longer for my preference. Despite these minor criticisms I really enjoy their pizza and they are usually not as busy as pizza mondo on the weekend so you can get your fix quicker. read more

I wouldn't eat here again, especially with kids. So my son wanted pizza for lunch, and decided to go somewhere we have never been. We walked in and placed our order. They had no water available so you had to buy water. So we bought our drinks, a medium pepperoni pizza and a pear Gorgonzola salad. We were asked it it was to eat on the patio or to go, we opted on the patio, we were given a number and we went outside and waited, and waited (we were the only ones out there who had ordered food) there was a man who ordered to go after us. I saw him get his food and then leave. So I picked up my 1 year old an 4 year old and go back inside over 30 minutes ordering to inquire. Mind you no one is waiting and we are the ONLY ones there. They just had our food sitting there for what the lady said was 10-15 minutes. The pizza I felt was cold, she corrected and me and state it s not "that cold, it's a little warm". So holding a 1 year old and the hand of a 4 year old, she didn't even offer to bring it all outside for us. So I juggle the baby and toddler and our order and opening the door by myself as she watched. I mentioned "I guess we will just not come back" and she stated "that's fine." Love this place and the people. Especially the great guy at the counter. Love that they are mostly organic, where else can you find an organic pizza? On top of that, they have THE best gluten free crust i have ever had. Ever. No exageration. You can imagine how hard it is to find good gluten free pizza crust. Every one has been dry, brittle, crispy thin, and usually inedible. Not so here. They know how to make GF crust. Soft, chewy, tasty...Yum. I try not to do food like this often, but when I do, it's nice to know you're getting it a bit healthier. Their salads are delicious. Staff is friendly. Vibe is clean and casual. And the location is great; NWX, with lots of shopping and a Saturday market. Ok, so yes, it is pricier than most pizza. But with all of the above pluses and more, there's a reason for it. It's always said that you get what you pay for, and that is so true when it comes to food (sadly, wish healthy was more affordable for many, but not quite there yet). Also, as someone else mentioned, the rent for the location has to dictate the higher price as well. I'd rather eat out less and pay more and make sure that good places like this stay around than have to drive across town to a cheap place without healthy, quality ingredients. Keep an eye out, sometimes they hand out coupons. Especially for bdays. AND during this crazy COVID year they have managed to behave in an intelligent, safe manner with concern for staff and clientele while keeping their 'doors open'. this place is SO GOOD. the service is awesome & being gluten free they have so many options! they also have vegan options if needed. the gluten free dough is hand rolled so it's very airy and tasty, unlike the usual frozen gluten free crusts most places offer. you can get their soup without pasta (it's added in upon serving it) or you can even add gluten free noodles if you'd like! highly recommend. they have a very friendly & informed staff as well. read more

Excellent food, love the local sourcing and organic ingredients, nice atmosphere, free parking, delivery. Beet salad is a favorite. Slices for lunch are awesome. Wish they served a gluten-free slice option for lunch each day though, and they really need to add tea to the menu. Iced tea and pizza are a great combo in the summer, and we need hot tea in the winter in Bend (especially since we've been eating outside during a pandemic!). Could source local Metolius Tea, which is organic, and awesome. Once they add tea to the menu, my rating goes up to the full 5 stars! read more

Ordered the Chicago Deep Dish. Basically a thin crust pizza with high edges than they dumped marinara sauce into. The crust was terrible. I asked for extra cheese, and there were a few shreds on the top and no cheese otherwise. I asked for roast garlic, and there was none. The pepperoni was raw. The $50 cost of the meal made sense for the Chicago style when I ordered, but it was a total rip-off. If you want pan pizza, you are better off with Pizza Hut, and if you want Chicago Style, don't order pizza in Bend. read more

Vegan and Gluten free beware. Owner not competent or knowledgeable on how to separate gluten and animal products from those options. I worked here and can tell you first hand that there is no competent ability by the manager to actually distinguish between different dietary restrictions. Manager refuses to throw away old ingredients. Don't waste your time with this overly expensive restaurant. His turnover rate for employees is higher than anything i have ever seen. He treats his employees like slaves, always setting condescending double standards. Manager has no restaurant experience and is entirely unable to run a functional restaurant. read more
