    Spicy salsa and avocado cream
    Lindsay T.

We were looking for breakfast while here for the weekend and love a good breakfast burrito. This is a stand outside of the coffee shop and seems to have a steady stream of customers. At first glance, the burritos seemed small for $10. But once trying them, they are very filling! The avocado cream for $1 is a delicious and was enough for both of our burritos. We also got some of their spiciest salsa and that tasted fresh with a good kick. It's a good burrito, but there wasn't too much bacon to be found and very very cheesy. I would have appreciated more other ingredients and less cheese, but srilla good burrito overall. The ingredients seemed fresh with a nice chewy tortilla.

Yummy breakfast burrito stand that is open early! The dipping sauce (extra charge) is a generous portion for what you pay for- usually not the case! I loved my selection, the chorizo, our friends got the original and thought too much cheese, but we're still happy. It's nice that it's co-located with a delicious coffee bar! We'd definitely come back, try more items, and just enjoy the vibe of the area. Kid friendly in the morning!

    Where's the bacon? Mushy eggs.

This was a disappointment. $10 breakfast burrito with gummy potatoes, undercooked liquid eggs, lowest quality bacon, and bulk purchased cheap cheese. And pre made, not made to order. See pic below. Worst purchase at the farmers market. Do better.

A huge glob of cheese with bits of old hard potatoes and some hidden bacon bits in an undercooked tortilla, threw it out.

The burritos are soupy and not very flavorful soup. Just pretty lackluster overall. I will not be back.

Hubby had classic Eggs Benedict that he said was very good. I started with a warm Chai and a Bobbin for Apples Mimosa which was magical. Having read the reviews I was prepared to order the stuffed croissant French toast. Last minute change of heart- I ordered the Gobbler, a roast turkey sandwich on a croissant with a flavor profile reminiscent of Thanksgiving. The sweetness of the fig jam played well with the poached pear, savory turkey and peppery arugula. Dessert will have to wait until our next visit. The pastry counter at the front of the restaurant displays cinnamon roles, scones, muffins and impressive cakes. There's even a marionberry and white chocolate bread pudding that would make a wonderful brunch choice.

That's really the only factor I can point to that's remotely negative but also not complaining it's an observation. I see after being there why this works for the restaurant. You order at the counter, get a number, and then sit. Since it was our first time, we wanted to look over the menu, but we ended up just going with the specials -- and honestly, they were incredible. We had a unique and delicious Portuguese sausage biscuits‑and‑gravy dish with bacon on the side, and the other plate was an eggs benedict on an amazingly light, airy muffin with tomato, perfectly poached eggs, and a Portuguese sausage link, plus potatoes. Our plates were spotless by the end. The house iced tea was also a standout -- infused with fruit and specialty tea, but without actual fruit pieces in the cup. It tasted elevated and refreshing. I also ordered a cinnamon‑cardamom coffee, which was divine. Next time -- because there will be a next time -- we're thinking of sharing the special of the day and getting a spread of fresh pastries. Highly recommend.

It's a walk in sit down spot - you place your order at the counter and they give you a number - decent size for busy food times - so usually plenty of seating. Over the phone ordering was a snap and the dude was super polite and helpful - not rushed. My wife got the traditional breakfast - she loved the local links and flaky biscuit - I think it was peach marmalade - not sure, but it was LEGIT. I got the pozole roja (I think that's the menu name) and - yo, it was the best pozole I've had. The ingredients were plenty, the chicken was tender and flavorful, they put the radishes, cilantro and cabbage on the side for you to add so it's not soggy. Sourdough was so good to dip - mouth is watering writing this. Service th morning we were headed out at 7amish was great also - wife got coffee cake (warmed in their brick oven) and I got two citrus muffins and a sourdough cinnamon roll for later - all were scrumptious and delightful. I would got a half dozen muffins if I knew they were that good before. People were kind and the service is quick. We ate there these two time on $52 dollars - both to-go orders. We will absolutely be back - every time we are near bend, I'll be stopping for pozole for sure! Well done, Jacksons Corner, well done!

Set in an old home, this establishment has become one of Bend's favorite restaurants. The menus have range with breakfast by far being my favorite. However, their pizzas are spectacular and I've never had a pastry yet that I didn't really enjoy. They serve coffee from a local roaster called Lone Pine. The staff is always extremely friendly and I have frequently positive interactions with them when I stop by. Prices are reasonable, and the food is very high-quality while also being consistently fresh. Parking can be a challenge at times, but it's always worth the effort. Not to mention a chance for a nice stroll around downtown Bend after my meal... just the perfect end to complement a perfect day here in this lovely place. Thank you Jackson's corner for being a staple in this community and consistently making every meal here a little bit more joyful.

We decided to try this place (and yes have been to McKay Cottage) because of the local hype around it. Got there around 0815 on Memorial Day - no wait- got seated at a booth right inside the door. We were given water right away, and coffee to follow. The gal took our order; California omelet for me with white toast, and Biscuits and Gravy for the DH. I'd say we waited around 20 minutes for our food; not bad. Huge plates! I had a sneak bite of his meal, and it was not bad although the biscuits (which were huge) seemed pretty doughy. Pretty much no flavor in the gravy so loaded up on the pepper and it was better. I've noticed in Bend the gravy is always served on top of mutant bread lumps known as biscuits instead of on the side. My omelet, the potatoes were very good- for the 1/4 of it I could eat. Lots of stuff jammed in there for sure! White toast and whatever jam they served was not good. Coffee was not good; weak. It is expensive, just like every other sit down breakfast place around here- $50 before tip. I'd say if you like to start your day in a less than serene way you might like this place. I think it's a charming spot that holds a special place in the hearts of the locals here. And that's alright by me.
