Went to see the plain white tees play. Well organized, clean and friendly. The tees rocked and had a great time!

Benedictine U. is a decent school, but is currently ranked Tier 2 in the 2014 U.S. News and World Report college rankings.

From my own experience, this school worked out perfectly for my schedule since I was a part-time employee plus completing medical school.

The programs outside of teaching are treated as step children. The school's marketing and name suck. What the purpose of going to secondary education? To improve the prospect of bettering one's self. The Career Services Department should be important and excellent. It is not - I would chose more bang for my tuition dollar.

Almost 95% of the classes are online. They switched from Blackboard to D2L and most of the instructors still don't know how to use the LMS system. It's been about 2 years since the switch and they haven't even figured it out. Nobody is here to assist you if you have any issues. It's going to be the next Westwood College. Do yourself a favor and don't do it. You can drive by any Monday or Tuesday and see 10 cars in the parking lot, most of that is the staff. There are almost no instructor led classes anymore. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Look up complaints with IBHE since this school has violated many things. Also, my biggest pet peeve is that classes aren't required to have a complete syllabus! Yes, that is correct. A graduate level program isn't required to have syllabus for their courses. Dr. Stuart is the one who told me this on the phone but didn't want to put it in writing. Also, Craig Cunningham has to be the most disillusion instructor at any college. Whatever you do, don't take him. Absolutely most disorganized cluster-f of an instructor out there. In the end, do whatever you can and run far far away. Stand outside and ask students how they truly feel.

UTI is a world-class technical school that offers numerous opportunities for anyone who wants to…read moremake a prosperous career out of working with their hands. Their curriculum is 100% geared towards learning a trade, as they offer certificates in Auto, CNC Machining, Collision Repair, Diesel, Marine, Motorcycle, and Welding at their campuses all over the United States. While it's obviously not a school that fits everyone's needs, it's an option for people who aren't interested in attending a community college or a four year university as not everyone wants to take World History, Art, and Psychology classes. As a Technical Recruiter for a commercial truck dealership group out of Illinois and Missouri, we are always looking for Diesel Techs. When I say "always", I mean my company is at UTI recruiting (for various events) roughly 10-12 times a year. Approximately 27% of our techs are UTI grads - and we have a few hundred techs. UTI is the #1 school that we hire techs from. Do you think we would spend so much time recruiting out of UTI if they didn't produce a quality entry level technician? :) When it's all said and done you get out of life what you put into it. Junk in, junk out. Quality in, quality out. I recommend making a decision on what you want to do and where you want to go to school based on the time you've spent looking into each school. I invite you to do your own research. Ask people you know who have graduated from schools you're looking at what their experience is like. Visit at least four or five schools (technical schools, community colleges, four-year universities, etc. - whatever interests you) and come with a list of prepared questions. Get all of your questions answered at every school and see how the teachers, admission reps, career services personnel, and administration respond. Check out this website to compare schools (apples to apples): * https://collegescorecard.ed.gov Here, you can learn the following about each school: * Average annual cost * Graduation rate * Salary after attending * % of students receiving Federal loans * Typical total debt after graduation * Graduation rate * Student body information/numbers While UTI has thirteen (soon to be fourteen) campuses nationwide, you will only find their Arizona campus (HQ) on collegescorecard.ed.gov's website. Why? I'm not sure. The bottom line is while UTI is a great option, it's not the only one, and it's not going to be a perfect fit for every single person. But they've done a great job preparing people to be entry level techs in a wide variety of industries. Over the past 50 years, they've graduated over 200,000 students! They're constantly looking to improve their student experience, curriculum, training, products, advertising, relationships within the community, graduation and placement rates, social media presence, and more! If you haven't taken a tour yet you're missing out. I know you'll be impressed. And if it's not for you, at least you did your due diligence, right? Some of the buildings are modern with great architecture. My favorite is the Kaplan building. As soon as you walk in, there is a robot near the front desk. In Kaplan, I feel like I'm in a college geared for the 21st century and beyond. This is STEM based campus for people with majors such as physics, mechanical engineering, computer science, chemical engineering, bioinformatics etc. Because of its great architectural design, films and movies have been filmed here. The popular show Empire has used the college for filming. The food in the Commons cafeteria is delicious, especially the stir fried rice. It had just the right amount of teriyaki sauce and veggies. The server prepares the fried rice, with vegetables, rice and chicken in front of the customers. The line for the stir fried rice was the longest line. The chocolate chip boondies were superb. I went over my calorie limit today!

Shoutout to my CCOP colleagues!! =D…read more This is a great campus with nature blend with technology. I came from a really big camps (UCLA - go Bruins!) so I was not used to attending school at such a small campus but it is actually really nice because you can walk anywhere within 5 minutes (except when you have to walk to the Wellness Center). The library is a great high tech center with lots of study places and on the first floor next to the library, there is a 24 hour study room. I was a bit bummed to find out the library isn't open 24 hours. The gym is pretty neat and it is almost never crowded. I wish we had a pool on campus. The commons (cafeteria) has lots of yummy dishes that rotates every day so you can never get tired or sick of the food. It is CASH only though so if you plan on eating often, I would suggest getting a meal plan with the school. Parking can be pretty tough when all the students are on campus at once or trying to get out all at once...since there's only 1 way in/out.

I love where it's situated in beautiful Downers Grove, the security is a bit much but it's nice to know we're safe and it's not like other schools with high people traffic where you have bums randomly asking you for change, etc. (I went to undergrad in Chicago) It's clean and has a beautiful setting near a woodsy area, love it! The teachers are awesome, I've met some great people who are at the top of their field and are not only there to teach but honestly make sure you succeed. They provide you with the knowledge you need but also people skills and I've realized I've learned so much just in my first year about myself and what I need to do to improve in order to be the ideal health professional. I think Midwestern is an excellent school and if you're contemplating on going here, you should simply visit to see what they have to offer. I'm sure you will fall in love with it as much as I have :)
