It was a beautiful day and we were happy for that. We ordered a nice rose, bought some cheese, and I was paying with cash and was short a penny. Jamie, the woman who was helping us would not let me off the hook for this penny. I didn't have one and she waited until a complete stranger offered to give me one. She dug through her purse and finally found one. That, in my opinion was really low, unprofessional and very distasteful. We spent over $250.00 at the vineyard and it disgusted me that she couldn't treat her costumer with the slightest ounce of respect. We will not be returning to this vineyard again. read more

What a find this was! I happened to be in the area to get some coffee which turned into a day of visiting a new food place and ending up here. First of all this county is beautiful as you drive you see all the nice farms and landscapes eventhough the trees are bare. Once we entered the premise of the Vineyard you see how neat and welk kept the location is. We walked inside and we're greeted by a staff member. He explained the menu and then proceeded to let us find a seat. I will preface that I am very conscious about masks and indoor dining specially at this time where things are getting worse again. This place had very well spaces tables in a giant indoor room and ceiling fans that kept the room relatively cool and moved the air very well. There are outdoor tables with heat lamps but no one seemed to be outside dining. The staff did not wear mask. It did not deter me but I wish staff would gauge client comfort and wear one. The staff member who helped us was very nice and knowledgeable. He walked us through our tasting which was a paired with a board of cheeses for each wine, peasant loaf and slices of salame meat. Cute vineyard with great staff! My friend booked our Local Pairing tasting in advance, which included 5 wines, pairings of cheese and salumi, and a wine glass to take home. We were seated right away at a high-top table in their huge indoor space. The interior had more of a brewery vibe to it - industrial but still a warm ambiance. Our first of two hosts got us started with the cheese/salumi board and our first wine, which was the Acqua Pazza. The cheeses were all very tasty and I loved that they were locally made. The Acqua Pazza was very unique, both in color and taste. It was definitely cool to try, but I wasn't obsessed with it. My favorite of the wines were easily the two reds - the Pinot Noir and Blaufränkisch. I'm typically more of a red wine fan anyway, but the whites here really didn't do it for me. Overall though, we had a fun time and service was excellent. Would return in the summer when the grounds are open! read more

Such an awesome winery, honestly one of the best ones I've been to NJ When you walk in, it's just gorgeous. All of the barrels out on the floor and the huge bar; everything is so open and bright and I've only been in the winter but I've the event outside the summer are so fun I went for my birthday and did their Local Pairings which was five of their wines along with locally made meats and cheeses. I know their meats and cheeses are not directly from them but they were so delicious and went so well with the wines. My favorite wine was definitely the chambrusco during the tasting. It was something so different and I love red wine but adding a bubbly element made it really full finishing and a little sweeter which I enjoyed a lot. My favorite wine overall was their Mangione and I got a bottle of that to go which is already totally gone! Sarah took care of us and she was wonderful; incredibly knowledgeable on the flight she was pouring for us and made the experience very fun Cannot wait to come back in the nicer weather! I came here with some friends for the afternoon with a reservation. We got a table on the patio near a fire pit. This winery is really cute. The outside has tables with umbrellas and chairs and a few fire pits to sit around. There's a decent amount of space. There's a little stage and there was a man playing his guitar and you couldn't hear it. A gentleman who works there came up to us asking how we were doing and said if we wanted a tour to come find him. We didn't do a tour but that was nice to know about. They have a deposit on the glasses. You get it back when you return your wine glass. They don't serve food but there was one BBQ food truck. I wish they had more than one. The food was alright. Nothing to talk about. Don't come here expecting much to eat. They had cheese and meats in a fridge you could buy and I believe you could order a board. There is a section in the back for playing bocci ball and corn hole. The wine tasted good but there isn't a big selection of wines so I'm sure they take care of perfecting their wine. The prices were ok. They have the open vineyards and what looks to be green houses. I'm not sure what they are but it's a cute vibe and had a bridal shower going on. If you live in Jersey I say definitely visit it. I'm not from Jersey and I probably wouldn't drive all the way there again but if you're close give it a try. read more

I really loved this winery! We celebrated a friends birthday last weekend and it was so fun! It was a little chilly but they had the fire pits going and the live band was so great! They allow you to bring your own food which was perfect! You should have a resi prior since they sell out quickly it seems on weekends! First time here . Got a glass to taste the 2017 Shotgun red which is an off dry red wine. It's pretty good for a local NJ WINE. This is the sweetest wine they produce( not too sweet and not too dry) easy to drink. I can taste the cherry liquor and fig in it. I like it so much and travelled so far so I ended up getting 4 bottles . We brought our own sandwiches ( yes, it's allowed)to pair with the wine and enjoyed our lunch in their covered outdoorsy patio. They also sell local cheese, salami and honey but didn't get them. I'll save them for next time so I have something else to try. I see people bringing their own bread and buying their cheese and salami to make sandwiches. Would def come back again read more

Made the mistake of visiting on a rainy Saturday - it was busy. Like, screaming loud half-drunk bachlorette loud. We had reservations for tastings, and got stuck with server Sam, who barely made an effort to say what her meager pours even were. She disappeared numerous times, mostly talking to other staff behind the bar. Big thumbs down on service and atmosphere. Beneduces needs some remedial service training and to perhaps rethink the beerhall vibe. read more

Beneduce Vineyards is a Winner!!! We stumbled upon Beneduce, coming home from another winery. We met Mike (the winemaker), Amy and Kara. Amy gave us a wonderful background on the winery. Interestingly, she mentioned that Beneduce Vineyards was on the same latitude as Austria and Hungary. Basically having the same style of grapes. She poured our first couple of samplings and Kara poured the latter. We sampled a 2020 Gewurz Pet Nat, 2020 Chardonnay, 2021 Dry Rose, 2018 Pinot Noir and an 2018 Blaufrankisch. All of them were wonderful! It was a difficult decision what to buy. LOL... We decided upon the Gewurz Pet Nat (Very sparkly in taste) and the Chardonnay (Very buttery in taste). Next time, I'll definitely buy the Blaufrankisch. This one is a signature wine! The winery does have a menu with a local cheese platter, prepackaged food items, raw honey and fresh baguettes. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has lots of tables with umbrellas. We can't wait to return to try and buy more of the wines! read more

We had a fantastic time at Beneduce Vineyards. We were deciding between two vineyards but Beneduce won by making it easy to book our tasting online! We arrived about 15 minutes late and we called ahead but there was no problem. Our table was ready when we got there and our wine tasting commenced immediately. We tasted about 4-5 wines starting with whites into reds. All of them were delicious but my favorite was the Chardonnay. It was fantastic and not too dry. We bought some of the local cheeses and bread instead of getting the prefixed charcuterie board. Everything was tasty. Our awesome server Penny was funny and informative and we were happily able to keep our wine glasses! Overall, the atmosphere of the winery is great. The main building is large and the outside garden is beautiful. There were various celebrations going on so it is a good place for large parties to celebrate special occasions. It's $10 per person cover change, which seems reasonable but doesn't include anything like a glass of wine. The wine prices are expensive considering you are buying direct from a winery. We reserved a 'crush pad' table and it's under a roof close to the bar. I would have preferred the Stone Patio - it was a nicer area to sit with tables and a fire pit. The girls and I got together for a wine tasting. It cost about $30 a piece for the tasting of 5 wines and you could buy a glass or bottle if you choose. When we arrived we parked in their parking area. We had a reserved area because we paid prior to. Our host was Robert and he was good and had good energy. There was some really good tasting wines that we tried. They also served a cheese and bread platter $15 per person. I didn't have that but the girls enjoyed it. We had a good time but the only downfall was we got there at 2pm and they were supposed to close at 5pm but they failed to tell us there was some show they were having and they were closing early. Hunterdon County desperately needed a gem like this. Came here with a girlfriend a few weeks ago and spent a Saturday afternoon listening to live music under a table with an umbrella. This vineyard is a BYOS (Bring Your Own Snacks)! Go inside to buy a bottle of wine and come outside to find a table to enjoy everything at. Overview: We had my partner's 30th Birthday here on a Sunday in June 2021 and we had a great time. We were in Oasis B, which is in a sort of green house. Inside they have a large number of plants and several produce fruit trees/bushes. We had a tropical themed party, so the plants and flowers matched the theme perfectly. It was pretty cool to see tangerines and lemons on the plant. The Oasis B is not air-conditioned, and it was incredibly hot out. Luckily there was four or so large fans that were set up to circulate the air and provide some relief from the heat. Overall, I would come back. Staff: They were truly awesome, and one of the highlights. The staff we interacted with were nice, fun, and incredibly helpful. I very much appreciated all they did and they really helped make it a great time for everyone. We were even able to get a tour and see the grape vines up close. They also helped me carry in my cooler full of ice, water bottles, ice tea, etc., which was incredibly appreciated. The Staff member who conducted the wine tasting and then served the wine afterwards was named Brad and I cannot begin to state how much we appreciate all he did for us. He was very knowledgeable about the wine, and very helpful in making the event live up to what we envisioned. I really appreciate how everyone helped make the event a great success. Location: Not far off of 78, it was pretty easy to get to. The surrounding land is gorgeous and you get some very pretty views from the vineyards. It looks like they had live music and a food truck in the general outside area. I also saw corn hole boards set up outside. They were very busy on Sunday, so I would make sure you plan your trip out in advance. Private Event: They provide the space, wine glasses, the staff/pourer/wine historian, tables, chairs, fans, garbage can, recycling can, wine, and the general ambiance. They also provided a container of water and some cups. We were responsible for our own decorations, balloons, cakes, appetizers, food (cold only, if hot food you need to hire one of the affiliated caters), cooler, trays, non-alcoholic beverages (we brought water bottles, ice tea, and Pepsi), board games, etc. They were very kind and kept our cake for us inside so it did not melt (this was deeply appreciated as it was so hot). Fortunately my partner's friend is an excellent party planner so it looked awesome. They provide you with a very pretty base on which you can build your own party as you would like. Wine: Pretty good, though if you are a sweet or sweeter wine person, there's not a lot in that direction. The wine tasting was 5 wines, the Riesling, the Gewurztraminer, the Rose, the Blaufrankisch, and the Shotgun Red. It was so hot outside that after the tasting we mostly we drank the white wines and the Rose. For the red wines, I found the Shotgun Red to be very good, and I got a bottle to take home to pair with some Sunday gravy, when its not in the 90's. I also tried the Acqua Pazza, which was tart and l got a nice lemony note for it. It was lightly sparkling, plus cold and refreshing, so a nice change after the red wines. I also tried the 2020 Rose Pet Nat, which was good, just not my particular favorite. read more
