I came to this place in desperation. I've had trouble finding someone who could shape my brows the way I wanted. Most places leave them much thicker than I want. So since I recently moved here I needed to find someone who could do my brows. I searched Yelp of course, and the reviews were great for his place. There were high reviews for another waxing location and I went there first. Big mistake. I explained to the esthetician the shape I wanted, and I even showed her pictures. When she showed me my brows after I asked her to clean them up some more, she did, but they had no shape and were nothing special and I could've done what she did at home and saved myself the money. When I got into my car I was not only disappointed but I was upset. I didn't know how to make it clearer. I immediately headed to Ulta and met Sandy. She had a few appointments, but I waited for her next opening. I explained to her what had just happened and she was beyond sweet. She mapped my brows and showed me what they'd look like. It was EXACTLY what I wanted! She waxed and tweezed and when she handed me the mirror I wanted to cry of happiness because for the first time in 3 years my eyebrows looked how I wanted them! So about two months ago I wandered Into ulta & saw the brow bar. I asked SANDY if she was available to do my eyebrows. I hadn't had my eyebrows waxed in years. I have been getting them threaded at another location near by. But the lady who was doing them never really helped or improved eyebrows, instead just cleaned them up & made them thin. I was honestly so excited to see sandy but wasn't very impressed. She barely took anything off my brows and they were still long! When leaving, I liked them because she added fiber and drew them in. As a newbie in town, I took my time finding a new brow person, and I am glad I did. It was WELL worth the wait! Jackie did my brows today and I have never had someone explain everything so well! I feel like a whole new person, with beautifully shaped eyebrows and a lot more knowledge on how to take proper care of them! Plus the wax is really gentle; normally the skin right under my brow is really sensitive for the afternoon after I get them done, but between the gentle wax and whatever it is they put on after they are finished, I didn't have any tenderness by the time I left the store! Plus she puts a little powder on so you don't have to walk out looking quite so obviously newly waxed!
